Hello Jason, I just wanted to say how great I think it is that you are willing to show and analyze your own programs. A lot of coaches wouldn't dare to do that but you have the confidence (and rightly so) because you know that no one is going to copy your programming anytime soon. Your videos and podcasts have had a very positive influence on my career as an athlete and coach and I am grateful that there are people like you who share their knowledge for free. Thanks and all the best, God bless
I'm a similar training age to you - I'm 43 and have been doing some variation of conjugate or 5/3/1 for most of the last 20 years. I recently started doing EVOLV and it's a huge change of pace for me, but it's been so beneficial. Of course I do miss testing top singles, but I feel much better with this type of training.
This is the first program that I’ve been able to stick with that feels well written. You get changes every 3-4 weeks. Even the strength days have a little bit of conditioning built into them. I’m 48 and train first thing in the morning. These workouts set me up for the day. Actually, one of the biggest improvements have been in my coordination and balance. Strength numbers still going up. Awesome program.
@@jasonbrowncoaching thanks Jason!!! I’ve been looking into it and still on the fence about it. Really like and relate to the content you put out so wanted to ask your thoughts on it. Keep up the great work!
Very nice program. To be honest after years I have found that the combination of kettlebell, progressively heavy, pull ups, dips, push ups and sprint, are the best and efficient way to gain relative strength and improve VO2 max.
Without a doubt, but there are few caveats: 1. Your nutrition has to support it and 2. You need to be putting in the effort with regards to reps in reserve and following the guidelines I lay out for that.
Hey Jason ! When you right “warm-up the main movement for 3 sets” on day 1. It means that we do the giant sets 3 times with lighter weights before starting the 4 work sets? Thank you 😉
I use all of the strategies that highlighted in the FB programming strategies video at different times of the year plus you get support from our coaches in the app which is key!
Hey Jason, thank you for the video. Would you recommend to add a couple of isolation exercises if we want to hypertrophy some muscles ? Ex : add lateral raises, biceps curl at the end of some workouts?
This something that is already in this program, but if you're doing your own program, yes you could prioritize weak links or lagging muscle groups for your isolation work.
I am a new subscriber to EVOLV just wondering, my goals are to lose fat (not weight) and maintain/build muscle where possible, other than nutrition which i know is 80% of results do you feel the EVLOV programme will help me with my goals?
If it wasn't able to then I wouldn't be in business =) I'm in better shape now at 41 then I was when I was 31 and full-body training is something I've moved to exclusively just in the last two years.
It's one I get often. If you follow the program as is, put in maximal intent to everything you do, and really focus on dialing in your nutrition, in 12 weeks you'll look completely different!
Hi Jason. Been doing CXC for almost 2 years. 46 yo…since EVOLV does not have a dynamic effort day, do we lose the recruitment of fast twitch muscle fibers? Thanks!
without a doubt! We have lots of folks that do BJJ. You could decide what quality of fitness to prioritize in conjuction with your BJJ training (our coaches would support you with this in the app)
Actually I just did a three day series giving away free programming, I have a 4 week program available right now for free, and have written over 500 free articles, that collectively have over 3 years worth of free programming, but thanks for chiming in anyway! 😁 ps. I spend more money on this channel each month than I make but you probably already knew that.
@@corbinc4344 appreciate you chiming in! For a few years I was hesistant to go headlong on putting out videos on UA-cam because 1. It’s expensive AF to make these videos, 2. Too many assume they know you personally and feel compelled to offer their opinions, but this year I decided to focus on people (like you) that I can provide value you to on UA-cam so I’m okay with all comments - good, bad or indifferent! Thanks for the support! 👊👊
I’d enjoy a year round training program. I was into CrossFit until Covid. I started following gym Jones at that time. I’ve had great results but I’m an older athlete. What’s your email? I’d like to contact you.
I’m currently full for 1:1 clients but if you join my mailing list (pinned comment) we’ll send out updates when I have openings (should have some around August/Sept)

As a 5/3/1 and conjugate enjoyer, this program was how I got into full-body after 40. I didn't know where to start, but this one made a lot of sense.
That is amazing to hear, thank you for sharing!

What open trap bar do you recommend?
Rep Fitness
this is absolutely awesome, thank you so much for sharing so much content and PLEASE keep going
Appreciate your support! I'm here for the long haul!
Hey Jason! Would love to see a video about your cold plunge routine, philosophy, equipment and why you do it! Thanks!
I actually stopped cold plunging a while ago. After a lifetime of pushing myself, I just didn't have the motivation to do it anymore.

I really love your way of training, However, I also want to put on some muscle.....would you say this program is also good for hypertrophy?

Correct
How different is the monthly EVOLV subscription exercises vs. the pdf version you buy out right?

Hi Jason. Been doing CXC for almost 2 years. 46 yo…since EVOLV does not have a dynamic effort day, do we lose the recruitment of fast twitch muscle fibers? Thanks!
We still do plyos in the warm-up and DE work every so often just not as regularly as CXC so you should still be good to go.
Would this be good for a Jiu Jitsu practitioner?

@@jasonbrowncoaching thank you . Thinking of doing Evolve once I get some more equipment at home.

Best to separate them by 48 hours.
Can i build msucle with this program?

This is just him selling his ap and program, not giving you the three day full body workout.
