Vell, that's what Smirnov will do for all of us. Thanks Comrad Smirnov. Beautifully presented of course. Everyone had a wonderful time making this presentation. Blessings 2 all from Samarqand. Yeah!
Really wonderful dance and different of our culture. I see that they need to be athletic,,,,to practice it. Thanks a lot ....and the women ...beautiful.
Everyone thinks Ukrainian is not a dance, and it's some weird "thing", no, in fact , Ukrainian isn't really even a dance, it's an art. And a very beautiful art.
Yep, Hopak. Here is his former amateur boxing team-mates (now pro's Usik and Berinchik) dancing Hopak during London Olimpics. ua-cam.com/video/e0U119rYrW4/v-deo.html
In general yes, but there are different versions of hopak. I suppose this ua-cam.com/video/Q-Y7oKPdV70/v-deo.html and this ua-cam.com/video/wg9uPIaHEHw/v-deo.html are more close for understanding
part of my damily is ukrainian so it's cool being able to see this! My great grandpa was fluent in ukrainian. I guess I still have family over there so it would be cool to meet them!
Mikhail Smirnov, (not the other Smirnov, 80 proof ) forgot 2 compliment the male dancers; my apologies 4 that. Famous song, of course. Blessings from Samarqand. Damn, the camels R coming. With love, Jovano
The dresses and tops are like, a solid not stretchy fabric so its hard to move super freely. But the sleeves amd skirts are usually poofy and large so its easier to move! (Before you ask, I know this because I am Ukrainian and took Ukr. dance lessons)
umkalzum well, the hopak came from the zaporozhian kozaks who were a military group, so the men’s part is basically a military dance derived from the older folk dances, but up in general ukrainian dances require a lot of athleticism, even when they’re not a hopak

How did I make it here ? I was just looking at videos of hot girls on the Venice Beach strip. Welllp. I think its time I go to sleep.
What are they saying between 2:20 and 3:00? Is it a cheer or something? Google translate’s showing me no love.
Right of Reason 2:20 I couldn’t make out all of it, but at one point he says “very good” so safe to assume it’s a cheer
0:10 I'm going to turn this spy place into a guitar!
