- For most people, wagons are so not cool. But the enlightened among us appreciate them for their non-pretentious practicality, and quite often their driving dynamics too. But every once in a while, a wagon comes along that everyone can agree is bad to the bone. #Audi #AudiRS6Avant #RS6Avant

To my eyes it's one of the best looking cars ever made. Audi had always been able to capture my heart with their lines and angles.
Same here, it’s effortlessly beautiful
My "money no issue" daily dream car.
Does it capture your wallet too? After a few years or 50K miles, you might wanna get rid of it after the warranty expires.
Agreed. Absolutely beautiful. I dream to have this car sitting in my driveway.
20, 50, 100 years from now, people will look back and see how amazing this car was.
Exceptional vehicle! Power, performance, practicality, pose. Especially when compared with most of what’s on offer in new car market, as John rightly noted. The blatant swipes made at EV’s, COVID and software/technology in the commentary made this an extra enjoyable review 👍😂
Yup as much too lol

His personal jab at E.V.s resonates with most of us.
He does not understand the world we live in
@@MartinGalway Because he likes the sound of this car's engine? 🤣
Just with people living in the past and MAGAts...
@@stevemcgowen. Funny how four months later, most major brands are halting EV production, huh, Einstein?
I didn't know this used the ZF8 instead of Audi's DSG, interesting! That's a pretty major selling point to people who might be wary of reliability and maintenance costs, as the ZF8 is known to be reliable and has longer service intervals than DSG.
Though I can't imagine anyone who can afford this cares _that_ much.
Many people were drooling over the previous-gen RS6 Avant prior to this one's arrival just about four years ago.
If you have the money, this would be the perfect car!
Many of us remember the Griswold family station wagon.
Now *_that_* was a beastly machine!
_"Ed, uh… this is not the car I ordered. I distinctly ordered the Antarctic Blue Super Sports Wagon with the C.B. and optional rally fun pack."_ *~Clark Griswold*
Stay classy my friends.
I had a wagon just like this... except it was an 85 caprice wagon. And, I called it the Shaggin' Wagon.
Love this car, but not enough to pay $120k! 😳😬
It's a complete ripoff 😂
I'll get a Lexus LC500 with $120k
@Aikynbreusov I'm buying a Porsche 911 with 120k! The heck with over 100k for a Lexus!😄
……in 6 years it’s yours for $60K.
I have seen a few of these running the streets here in Scottdale Arizona!
Nice but very expensive.
Coolest looking wagon ever.
Nah. The 57 Chevy Nomad looks much cooler.
cts v wagon, cls shooting brake, taycan gts sport turismo
@@hollaz2your comment is correct
Man that’s absolutely one of the most beautiful Wagon I’d ever seen!👌😍👉♥️absolutely!
The whole Audi RS line has been my dream car for the last few years.
This has been my dream car since the mid 90's.
LOVE LOVE LOVE, but, after our 3 bad Audi experiences (2010 S4, 2016 TT, and 2016 A7) we cant buy another Audi... too bad cause this is beautiful. and damn looks like fun... shame theyre so unreliable and most of their dealers are a joke... but what do you expect for VAG? Hey John, was there an oil pressure and voltmeter gauge? LOL. :) Love MW
That is the most beautiful car on sale today. And performance to match! Wow. I hope they sell a ton of them so that someday I can afford a used one. haha
You can find them for $15k in 2033.
Those wheels are wild. If I saw them on their own I probably wouldn’t think much but on the car they look excellent.
Love the EV shade! They don't need to be everyone's future.
I was debating between an A4 and a Q5. Test drove both and picked the sedan for could take flyovers on highways faster. Only mistake I made is I should have got the A4 Avante. I especially wish I did for mine is a 2019 and still has CD player you can rip CDs into radio. Like that better than using phone. Sedans and wagons just handle better than SUVs. People say the snow but I find do just as well and sometimes better.
@@lm1314 if I’m not mistaken the 2019 A4 weighs ~3500lb where as the Q5 weighs ~3900. That would make a difference.
To me this car's main competitor, actually, is a G63. Which, hear me out - here in NYC I see 5-10 G63's every day, they are everywhere. Hardly any RS6's (the E63's even more rare). As much as the price makes this RS6 wildly exotic, if I was one of the many G63 customers (wouldn't that be nice), I think this RS6 is a much more interesting alternative for a few bucks less. While obviously the two cars couldn't be more different architecturally, in "real use", they're both simply "SUVs" for people who want something unnecessary and ridiculous, with a ton of power and enough utility to use it every day.
A Bavarian beast for the track 👣.
what a beauty... mean looking beast
This is what my tdi sportwagen wants to be when it grows up. Wish it had a 3 pedal like my Jetta
Great looking and I'm sure the performance is fantastic.. How's the up-keep?
This car with a roof rack is stunning!
This is the type of car you drive in a tuxedo… absolutely stunning!!
This 🚗 is Mega 💯🙌🔥👏🔥🔥
Sick quick. From a great engine.
Dragon wagon, nice touch :p soon's I hit the jackpot, i'm getting one!
That is one beautiful wagon
I usually hate wagons. they make shape of the car look awkward and ugly. having said that, this car is SPECTACULAR!!! absolutely nailed the design
What an impressive machine!
The EV shade 😂
That right there, if I could have any car I wanted, would be my choice.
When she says you need a more practical car
Quite common in London
Sickest audi
My favorite Audi
Now that is nice. 😎👍
Its a beautiful and fast wagon.
It's a complete package.
This car deserves more than a 6 minute review.
The commentary sounds like it would be more fitting reviewing a 1960s buick station wagon instead of an RS6 Avant. Great review nonetheless.
I wish Audi would have done the V10 in a family car trick again.
OMG, I love this car. The Audi rs6 Avant is so bada$$ 🖤🏁😎
SUPER DUPER !! 😊
That thing is awesome looking. But why touch controls?????? They make zero sense and are so difficult to use without taking your eyes off the road!
Make sure you get rid of that thing before the warranties up. Before that timing chain stretches beyond adjustment, the head gasket blows.
You just need to maintain it properly...
Just yes, yes yes yes.
It’s lowkey frustrating how long it took for Audi to bring the RS6 Avant to the US.
You left out the $40k dealership mark up.
Is beautiful 😍
I want one.
Looks good, but I like the e-tron avant better...
Wagons/Hatches > SUV/Crossovers
Wagons are so obscure in your country they're almost fetishised
Bros not making to home today 💀
I’d buy it for about a third of the price
Destined to be a Hooptie in 10 years.
As more and more accidents happen every year in America...manufacturers keep upping power. Well done guys 🤦♂.
Ever think it's the inept drivers and not the cars?
I wish I had a climate controlled garage and I could afford a dozen of these to store for the next 50-100 years!
I could sell one a decade or so (or my kids could) to buy future vacation homes!!!
😎
That is one sexy looking vehicle. Damn!
Wish Audi would build the RS6 in a sedan again.
Blame the RS7
I read they are but alas as an electric car. Sorry, but an engine sounds so much better than the artificial sounds of an electric. Last night, I heard a BMW M5 rumble just sitting there, then the whine of an electric Toyota, BMW all the way.
That wagon covers the 3 B'S
BIG CAR.
BIG ENGINE.
BAD GAS MILEAGE.
Don’t play kerosene💀
The gauges on my Audi COMPLETELY FAILED with only 17,000 miles!!! (no speedo, tach, FUEL, temperature guage….everything failed). No recall, no nothing! $2,500.00 to fix. ……..I’ll NEVER buy anything German (or European) again!!!
Kerosene intensifies
I love everything about this car except that it's an Audi. Fantastic car but I will never own another VW/Audi product for obvious reasons.
I had a VW for 9 years up traded for another that had just shy of 14 years. Great cars. Upgraded to Audi. If you maintain cars, it makes a big difference . I know people with Toyotas and Hondas who had issues. One person was told with a six month old Toyota to get rid of it, they had a lemon.
@@lm1314 I did all my maintenance on my Audi to the T. The drivetrain wasn't the issue, it was all the electrical gremlins that made me get rid of it. Multiple touch screen failures, starter failure, fuel pump failure, power steering failure, etc. There is a reason every mechanic will tell you not to own one out of warranty.
If one of you hit that powerball and are feeling generous inbox me, I know what I want now 😁
Interesting machinery but not practical. Too much HP and no where to put it except the track.
The four rings of financial ruin 😅 Audi 😂
3.3 seconds …. Wow
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤What a super sexy car.👊🏿👍🏿👍🏿💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🇨🇦
A 1990 Ford F-150 weighs 500lbs less than this wagon.
With less safety equipment & this would destroy the Ford
@@shaunjones3036 Not in reliability.
The F-150 is a ladder from Lowes with an engine from the '60s on the end. Not much going on, so what's your point?
@mylifeisJDM it is also a body on frame vehicle built entirely out of steel with an iron block engine. I just find it amusing all the extra dodads have outweighed the benifits of improved design and lightweight materials present on modern cars.
Love it but not at $120k come on Audi lower the price to $60k.
No thanks. Audi is not know for reliability! I'm German/American.
Yet they are wildly popular and reliable in Central Europe, as people there actually maintain their vehicles...
The "virtual cockpit" looks like cheap junk, a cheap low effort walmart-esq alternative to alternative to a real set of gauges.
Another disposable car. Couldn’t own that without a bumper to bumper.
I prefer quick and quiet electric vehicles. Better for noise and climate environment.
Except for the facts that they still utilize fossil fuels to produce and power EVs, and that the disposal of the batteries are in many ways worse for the environment.
If you call coal burners better for climate, then sure.
In cities which suffer from pollution, EV's are wonderful...@@daison96
But bad for the environment for they go through tires quicker than gas vehicles due to weight and torque. This causes more rubber pollution. Plus, all the mining to get materials for batteries and depends on how the electricity is made. Last night, I heard two different cars at a car wash in neutral, BMW M5 that had a beautiful rumble, and the high pitch whine of a Toyota electric vehicle. The electric car sound gets on my nerves, like nails on a chalkboard.
Nice car but its a gas sucking dinosaur on its way out.
There is NOTHING practical about an Audi when it needs maintenance. Which is often.
