The greatest tragedy of finding this channel was finding it's only been going on 6 months which means I don't have years of back catalogue to marathon.

Speaking of the pillow lady, you can find a ruined ship to the north of Morrowind that has tons of pillows. I believe there is a note that references the pillow lady.
I had the opposite experience with the greetings in oblivion, I set the starting stats lower with a mod so everyone's voiced greeting hated me, but the text was all super happy
@@ammagon4519 In Oblivion the world 'levels with you', sort of. You end up with people everywhere wielding improbably expensive weapons, improbably numerous powerful monsters, stuff like that. Contrast this with Morrowind which has a lot more hand placed content. Certain places have powerful things, certainl places have weak things. Doesn't matter what level you are when visiting those places.

You inspired me to do a merchant build in morrowind. My only combat related skills are alteration and enchant Obviously I'm a Khajit Stealth focus Favored Stats: Personality Luck Major skills: Mercantile Speechcraft Encanting Armorer Alchemy Minor Skills: Athletics Acrobatics Sneak (I would replace this with security maybe) Alteration Mysticism (for maximum traveling for trade) Thief sign, just for the luck. (though I'm using morrowind rebirth so i dont remember what the original birthsign does) Spent 6 hours stealing, trading, non combat quests until I could save scum a basic dungeon. Gear wasnt a problem at that point, it was being able to hit. At 20 hours my long and short blade are both only in the late 30s, yet I'm decked out in magic gear and have plenty of rings/amulets to swap on to cast spells with. I'm starting to feel like batman with a utility belt full of gadgets.
Lately I've been modding Oblivion using the Bevilex guide while listening to your videos and at first I thought it would distract me but it actually keeps me in the mood lol, keep up the good work Micky!

The graphics glitched out and all the models of everything were shaded with rainbow 🌈 gradient overlaps. But it was terrifying dull rainbows not sparkling beauty. Then I had to beg my mom for a new Xbox lol so lucky you!

I think the reason they made the woman who has the boots of speed essential was because she's in the middle of nowhere and she could have been killed by a random creature way before you encounter her. She seems to turn non-essential the moment you accept her quest. Anyway im loving this series! I hope you continue playing this mod. I was hooked on both of your "At level 1" (Tribunal and Bloodmoon) as well as your "Shivering Isles at max difficulty" series and was sad to see them discontinued :(

If you look under the beds in one of the balmora guard towers, you should be able to find an ebony broadsword called, "Sword of White Woe".
In Morrowind, it was actually on top of a cabinet upstairs in one of the guard towers.
I played Oblivion for the first time AFTER playing Skyrim, and it's still my favorite of the two.
