Thank you! After all the reviews and research I’ve done, I thought that for sure I wanted the Integra goggles and that this would be in the more expensive combo. I was confused when going to purchase if I had been mistaking the information the whole time being that they just seemed like the upgraded version and would naturally be more expensive. So thank you again for clarifying. Saving me 💰and probably time too from returning to exchange!
This is the best comparison video match-up for the Integra vs the Goggles 2. Thanks for the details that made it easier to understand the differences. I actually already own the Goggles 2 but was thinking about buying the Integra as a backup since the price has been reduced to $350 but now I think I'll just wait for the new goggles that are clearly going to be released soon. I understand why you selected the Integra but I like the few extra features the Goggles 2 have.
I like this take. They are better for your needs. I prefer the goggles 2 any day. I fly various fpv craft and being able to swap a battery is key and fov is great for cinematic shots. The transmit mode the goggles 2 has allows another pilot on dji to spectatate your flight. Recording from the goggles 2 isn't important if you're using the o3 air unit you are recording from there and running footage through gyroflow. It depends on people's needs but the goggles 2 are definitely better for mine!!
Very good, detailed review/comparison. Initially, I was a little concerned about the battery time on the goggles Integra. But over the last few months of flying the DJI FPV with 4 batteries and the Avata with 5 batteries, I would still have at least 30-35% battery left on the Integra goggles.
@mattalford3932 so some one else said he charges while using.. how do u charge the integra battery pack? U can use the xt60 plug the goggles v2 uses and every other goggle? The non changeable antennas such a kill for me
@wilfredocampo4215 usb plug then so I can use my isdt batt go with lipo or li-ion and usb cable. It does quick charge. But now goggles 3 or goggles 2 v2 🤣 coming soon haha
My wife and I both wear glasses (and have different prescriptions) so the built in diopter adjustment of the Goggles 2 is a critical feature for me (well, it will be at the time she actually starts flying). I printed a model from Thingiverse to attach the battery to the Goggles 2 strap, which works great. Regarding GPS in the Integra for Remote ID: yeah, it would be nice. But I almost exclusively use my Goggles 2 to fly my non-DJI FPV quads (that have either DJI Vista or DJI O3 air units) where Betaflight doesn't care anything about the GPS in the goggles. But when I do want to fly my Mini 3 Pro, I agree it is a bit of a pain to need to connect my phone.
Great! They are fun! I would recommend starting with a regular camera drone such as the mini 3 and then move on to FPV. However, the Avata could be flown by a total beginner.
I do happen to have bouth goggles 2 and integras, well yeah the integras are less hasle to use without the cable and battery. Still use the goggles 2 99% of time. Can change the lense if someone else with bad eyesight wants to see what i recorded. Also the goggles 2 have stereo audio build in and an jack for mic. They start up quicker. Can upgrade antennas. In europe dont have remote id, so no need to connect phone.
I bought the goggles 2. That built in battery pack is just 2 18650s that you can't replace. As far as attaching a phone for RID. You are required to have a visual observer standing next to you when flying FPV. They can watch your screen and drone at the same time. I do like the idea of built in gps, but it's not worth a built in battery head strap with plastic gears.
Thank you so much fo the very informative video tutorial im planning to buy goggle for my dji air 3 so that ican try it.its long amazing and fun❤❤❤👍👍🇵🇭
Great review. I've been thinking about getting an FPV and I was wondering the difference between the goggles. I think I'm going to go with the Integra goggles. I was hoping to see more of the drone footage in your other video when you and your wife were on the back deck flying it in the back yard. Thanks again for the great review.
I have both. Integra is way better. Lighter, better viewing, far better consistency. What blew me away, flying on the other side of a boulder, the size of a house. Googles2 break up connection frequently.
W A I T ! ! ! Why has NO ONE EVER done a COMPLETE review of Goggles Integra? Look it up. It's ALWAYS a comparison of G2 vs Integra or Goggles V2 vs. Integra. WHAT I NEED TO KNOW is Why is it if I'm shooting in DLOG starting from DJI RC and then lift off startup Goggles Integra and have to hit Record AGAIN but then I'm shooting in STANDARD color and NOT DLOG ONLY because I switched from DJI RC to Goggles Integra? I know most of you are just FPV people but for Christs sake, I paid $500 for Integra! I don't want to use the stupid little hand held thing to fly the drone, I want to use my thumbs on DJI RC!!! On the OLD WHITE BRICK goggles, I could put those on a friend BUT STILL BE ABLE to see through my phone where I was flying! This many years later and I have to CHOOSE either see thru the goggles OR see thru the RC........W T F !
Great review! I have Goggles Integra on order and it seems like a solid choice. Do you use it with non-DJI drones? (I’m only 1/2 way through the video) Maybe you cover it.
Thanks very much for a terrific explanation of the two different systems and how they work. You really translated it into newbie speak very well. New Sub+. Cheers from Australia :D
I used to own the Avata combo with the goggles 2 and now have the Integra. The only thing I missed in the goggles 2, is the diopter adjustment. The Integra's, IMHO, beat the goggles 2 in everything else. Heck, I don't even need the lens inserts to correct for my farsightedness, the picture is that much clearer with no edge bluriness, like I experienced with the goggles 2.
That's good to hear, I just ordered the Integra goggles and Motion 2 combo, $549 shipped from Drone Nerds. I'm selling my AIR 2S to upgrade to the AIR 3. I was going to sell my Mini 3 Pro because I upgraded to the Mini 4 Pro, but I'm holding off on selling my M3P until the M4P is compatible with the Integra goggles.
1) You can use any battery you want so use time is unlimited for FPV 2) It has diopters so if you where glasses its better 3) It hsows the channel on the out side so easy when flying with mates 4) It has a audio jack so if your drone transmits sound you can use that feature , the FOV is bigger . So many reason to stick with the old one @@mrmando69
You are correct. I returned the goggles 2 before using them because I realized I wanted the goggles Integra. The purpose of this video was to cover the on paper differences between them. I created the video that I was looking for when I was trying to decide which to purchase.
I fly racing drones ..using analog goggles ,,, I hated the Goggles V2 ,, the view is like box goggles TO ME . The Goggles 2 .. if you are not used to racing type goggles you will hate them ,,, also the faceplate on the googles 2 can be bent at edge to fit any face . you have to use the factory faceplate to get the correct view ,, also the Goggles V2 are only 720p so the picture is grainier , you can see the individual pixels on the V2 where as the Goggles 2 is a very good picture barely see any pixels tight and no spots of blotchiness like the v2 ..
I knew the Goggles 2 would be good ,, They are really not for people who have never flown analog .. if you started on DJI you will hate them where as I hated the view of the V2 too wide and big for me .. I like smaller fields of view for small holes to fly thru ,, cheers ,, the G2;s with the 03 unit cannot get enough , so incredible on the Mach R5 2050kv so so fast and tight @@OverTheMountainDrones
Great lighting. Very clear and fair bright. Im on dilemma wether G2 or integra. 🤔 I like the G2 because external battery. I dont like the battery on the integra hanging on the back. But i like the fov of the integra than G2. I prefer josytick than the touch screen navigations. So confuse 🫠

Only thing i have to take it apart to change the antennas. And use 3d printed parts. Can i charge it from a spare Lipo pack i have?
No. You have to use dji batteries. That made the Integra a no for me. The goggles 2 batteries are like 35 dollars. I have 2 so about 4 hours of use.
@mattalford3932 so some one else said he charges while using.. how do u charge the integra battery pack? U can use the xt60 plug the goggles v2 uses and every other goggle?

Plugging them in to charge while in use defeats the perk of not having wires hanging down.

The Goggles Integra is ok but if you fly an fpv drone (not dji) I would still stick with the Goggles 2 .
Why? Tia
