I don’t understand why she’s never included in the gazillion Ytube videos of the greatest this and the greatest that. Oksana IS the greatest of them all after Nadia. Her life story and career in the sport is remarkable and an inspiration to all.
I really admire this lady. It's now 2021 and she's still active in gymnastics. She's had children, too. How does she do it? She's truly an example of a strong woman. She still competes because she loves this sport.
She must have some stronggg joints. Maybe her body produces extra cartilage or something crazy. She should let some docs do a few tests like Wim Hof (iceman)
How does she do it is right! OMG! Gymnastics is brutal on your body. Elite athletes train 40 hours a week. I'll be 60 this year and can still do punch fronts on floor. My round off back handsprings were gone a long time ago.

Actually a lot of Americans enjoyed watching her in Barcelona compared to some of the unified team. She is very respected no matter what country she competed for. She’s one of the few if not only one, Olympian to have a medal representing two countries

She is back out of retirement. She competed in 2022 at 3 World Cups in Doha, Cairo and Baku, wining Gold on vault at Doha and Baku and silver in Cairo. She also competed at the Islamic Games and won gold on Vault and the team silver medel! She has stated she is training for the 2024 Olympics- which will be her 9th! Amazing! It astounds me that she is still competing at elite level.

Sometimes greatness shouldn't be measured by how many medals have been won. Her ability to adapt to changing rules and COPs throughout the years not to mention, SEVEN TIME OLYMPIAN. Longevity means something too.

I can't believe my eyes. Just doing these skills at her age is incredible. Competing them is at a whole different level.
She is experienced to a point that she actually barely takes time to prepare..she acts like its not a 4 inch block of wood ..landings are so solid
