My wife and I stopped at The Gold King mine, it was worth it to me, tons of cool cars and old buildings and neet junk. When I was there the owner started some of the old trucks like a 28 Lasalle, I liked it a lot. Different strokes for different folks. Another great video, thanks.
The water falls and rock formations were awesome to see. I'm not physically able to do such trekking, so I live vicariously through your videos. I still ride, though on 3 wheels now but still putting the miles on. I live in NH so we have great roads in any direction.
Great area for riding. Flats on a bike always have an extra level of suckiness vs a car. Glad that it was a slow leak for you and that the generosity of workers got you on the road quickly. Stay safe.
I spent 6 months riding out there in the greater Phoenix area and enjoyed the heck out of seeing you guys riding around all the spots we visited and enjoyed so much, I hope your vids and stories inspires more folks to explore all the fantastic sites this great country has to offer.
Your positive attitudes help you to find some “best ways” to enjoy yourselves in lots of different situations. Life is situational. Like all of life - adapt or succumb.
Hi Guys, I've just started to watch your videos and I just love the way you two get on with your new life. You two have got me think of traveling and camping on my bike I was going to do my traveling in a RV or Motor home with my bike on a trailer. But now I think I'll build a trailer and ride my bike and just camp around New Zealand. Because I just love the way you give us the good the bad and the break downs. That's real life. Cheers, From NZ
Spring in the desert. Cold at night. Hotter than hell at 2:00 pm. We had lovely spring thunderstorm here in Randsburg today. Really enjoy your humor and your vids. Thanks!
Nice video and nice places - I have been there more than twenty years ago with my ex. The plan was to go back there with my Road King last year, then COVID hit the planet. This year maybe. You have been very lucky to get spot on assistance with those tires!
Love you two- love that you met Bob Wells!! (A different video)- I ride also but still live in my house- and hope to cross paths with you someday- you guys are awesome! Great uplifting personalities and your relationship is a true example of partnership!! God bless you both and your travels!!
Had a similar lay over with Electra Glide right at the front door of a hotel. Only I didn’t jump and got my foot caught underneath. Man and woman pulled up and he walked right by me into lobby. Comes out and walks by me,gets in car and drives off. I guess his wife jacked him up cause he came back and helped. All the time telling me what a bad day HE is having cause it took him 2hours to drive thru Atlanta ! You guys are the best thing happening in Kennesaw Ga. on Sunday nights.
Well, this was good timing. I was sorting out what goes in the camping trailer and what goes on the bikes... The tire inflator and plug kit are definitely going on the bikes. Thanks, guys! I look forward to your post each week.
My most favorite "local" ride is AZ 89A from Prescott to Jerome then to Flagstaff via Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Then US 260 from Payson to Show Low across the rim is also great riding especially in the summer.. I was just up in Payson, Strawberry and Pine last Saturday for day ride. Great quality on the video. Will be waiting for Season 4!
Great video. Again the memories came flooding back to me on the road with my Grandma and some of my siblings in the 70’s. Oak Creak Canyon, Montezuma’s Castle. Looking forward to your next season. Chris looking good on Gus and Rich, Alice is sport’n those new tires. Stay safe and enjoy.
have to thank you both for ALL the adventures, finding cool historic and non historic places showcasing the natural beauty this great country has to offer. good to see people/business owners that still go above and beyond the call of duty to help people/customers in need.... indeed a HUGE shout out to Open Road Cycle Works,..(Coach Jones)....... !!!! ya'll keep safe, ride safe..!!!
Great video as always. So nice that Coach Jones opened up for you to get new skins on the H-D. That is truly ‘above & beyond’ service. Once again, best wishes from 🇨🇦 - #PlaySafe
Waykool video! This may be a crazy thought. I was thinking it would be kool if "Ruby" had a slide axle similar to a reefer trailer. Side the axle forward when pulling to relieve some tongue weight and HD shock wear. Slide back when set up, for a good base. Then again, "Ruby" may very well be perfectly balanced.
@@TwoWheelsBigLife the personal dialogue between you two prior to the ride. The dialogue at the RV camp. Viewing the wonderful scenery is always good. But this segment had what I thought a more personal interaction between you two. I got the feeling I was in. Chair participating in the event
All of the places you were in this video, I was there about 50 years ago. Oak Creek Canyon has the big slide rock. I and from SC but had relatives that lived in Ft Apache and I stayed out there with them for a couple of weeks. Got to see the whole state of Arizona .
Hi Chris and Rich. Congratulations on the completion of your 3rd season. I have absolutely loved watching your adventures, and can’t wait for the next season. I have a Chipolte paste in a tube from Olo Foods that I would like to send you to give it a try. However, I don’t know where to send it to? Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Dennis
Absolutely amazing view , gorgeous view . Hope the harley is ok ! I wanted thank you for the referral of the mesh jacket , ordered 2 , (his and her) Ride safe and god bless .
Richard, we pull the same camper trailer but I switched to the darkside and I will never go back to a bike tire. Safe travels and love your videos, very informative
I learned the hard way to avoid ANY slanted parking areas on dirt or pavement. My tall cruiser BMW cruiser (like yours) will tip over in a NY second especially when it's loaded with trip gear. At least a low-slung HD is a bit easier to lift with help. Geat choice -that Sedona/Flagstaff area was a great ride for me several times.
That's why I will never own spoke wheels again. If you had tubeless tires you and put in a plug or best is to carry a can of sealant with air pressure. It's always great watching you two! I've seen them all!
Arizona is a beautiful state, was there on vacation in October for the first time. We stayed in Flagstaff, visited Sedona, Grand Canyon, Williams, Seligman, and Winslow to stand on the corner of course. Lots of beautiful scenery in Arizona.
Absolutely brilliant video guys. I'm traveling around the south island of New Zealand at the moment..temperatures are not warm negative 5 degrees the last couple of days but the riding has been fantastic. Keep your videos coming I really enjoy watching them. Thanks from New Zealand.
Parkour🤣🤣. Very beautiful!! Bought that collapsible sink can’t wait to try it out, my one month journey starts in a couple weeks,my first time, can’t wait!
Been through every senerio you two went through that day and then some with my husband. Ahhh...the joy of traveling on a motorcycle...and the memories!! If everyone could get together and share their stories, that would be awesome 😄
Last time I was in Jerome was about 1970. Sure has been yuppized...While there was standing on a turn out that as memory serves used old railroad rails for guard rails. I was admiring the distant views off to the the east noticing a thunderstorm building. Suddenly saw a bolt of lighting way off in the distance and immediately got a tingle in my hands that where holding onto the rail. Damn! let go and got back in the car. Over 50 yrs and ago but remember that most about Jerome.
Thanks, we stayed in Flagstaff last December for 7 days and visited the general area (I.e. Sedona, Red Rocks, Jerome, etc.). We had a blast enjoying challenging roads, splendid scenery and plenty of tourist attractions!
I have the same air compressor. Very compact and works great. I have a air compressor and plugs on all 4 of my streetbikes. Mine all have cast rims so I can plug a tire if necessary.
Holy Cow Rich! Thank God you were going slow when you laid it down. TPMS is so important. We love the campground setup. Red Rock Scenic drive was epic. Lou & Angie
So much to comment on: 1. @12:09 - I hate it when something happens like dropping a motorcycle and EVERYONE jumps out of their cars to suddenly run over and help pick the bike back up. Then you have to be careful to not have it damaged from non-riders having their paws all over it, while being thankful to them for their efforts. 2. @21:10 - Ok Richard, we have it figured out. You were just jealous that Chris' bike is clean and your wheels were looking dirty. So, you let the air out of the tire at night so you'd have someone scrub the wheels clean the next day. 3. @26:05 - You know the old saying: "I don't always roll a joint, but when I do it's an ankle" Great content Chris and Richard!!!
I got in on your trip, kinda late, really enjoy riding along with you two. With the magic of the internet and UA-cam, I can go back to the start of your riding season and see the whole, enchilada. Ride safe!
I will someday ASAP go to Sedona it looks so beautiful there. Looking forward to next weeks video. I have gone through this past week and watched all your videos and have enjoyed them very much.
Beautiful country, absolutely stunning! Sorry to see you drop the Harley. I know what it is like, I did a few days ago. It hurts your pride more than anything else. Good call on riding to the Harley dealer for tires. Those TPS monitors are wonderful, I actually have one for my Bushtec trailer. As far as the food goes, It might be worth my time to ride out and eat at the “Ghost Burger”. That thing looked incredible. Ride safe guys, I really enjoy your adventures.

Just found your channel and really.enjoy it. If you two finde yourself in south central Pennsylvania your welcome to stop by the farm for chow or whatever.
Well I have to tell you when I watched this video I had déjà vu! I went full-time in October 2017 and on my way out to Arizona for the winter I stopped at the Krazy K RV Resort and planed to stay one night. Turned out I was there for the entire winter because I loved it so much, just absolutely wonderful people. So to see you all there made me smile. I believe I even saw Sue in the background she and Bill are the caretakers there at the resort. We actually became very good friends. I stopped in there on my way back out to Arizona the winter of 2020 just to say hello to everybody. Sorry that you all had motorcycle problems but just glad that you are safe and enjoying the adventure. ❤️
Such a small world sometimes. Yes, that was Sue in the background. Great place and great people. If it had been a little further away from the freeway who knows how long we might have stayed there.
Great Vid you guys. I've been to Jerome and Sedona and would love to ride through there too. Man that burger looked amazing. Love the longer days and warmer weather as I'm sure you must too. Thanks for sharing.
Chris, Rich, guys I jones foe an episode every week. Rich wasn't clear if the tube had a puncture. That 96 CI runs great, had one in my 09 RK, however I really love the 103 in my2012 Ultra Limited. t's like the Chevy 350, it just goes. Short season so I guess I'll start over from #1. Sedona is great on a bike, the wife and I have been on that ride several times. Stay safe. Will wait patiently for season 4.. TTFN
Thanks Freddie!! We never did find the problem with the tire. Yes, this was just our short winter season. We thought we'd go to Arizona for the winter and stay warmer, worked most of the time and now it's too warm so we're slowly heading north.
I know you just bought Chris a new bike but I gotta tell you I pulled a smaller trailer with a 2008 Electra glide with the 96in motor. When I traded for a 2011 Road glide ultra the 103 motor and the wider tires made a quantum leap in power and handling. I don't pull the trailer any more as our trips are shorter now and we ride a 2014 Road King now but the 103 even stock is way ahead of the 96. I enjoy your travels stay safe and thanks for the videos!
Ms Alice is a 09 so she has the wider tire and longer swing arm. Still the 96 but shes strong. I hope to get her in to upgrade the motor but that's for the end of the year.
Up 17 I forget the exit for Pine AZ but they use to be a great little honey shop there. You all get over North East in the white mts there is a lot to see. Let me know as I will be on the road with my new Freewheel trike and a timeout camper by end of May/ first of June. Going back home around Tulsa for a few days then maybe down to Kriver camp down as its on a nice river. Look it up as Veterans camp free there. But for now I am home on my farm off grid northeast of St.Johns.AZ of 191 north. Please give a link to your air compressor. I think that's about all I have left to get. Thank you both and stay safe.
My wife and I stopped at The Gold King mine, it was worth it to me, tons of cool cars and old buildings and neet junk. When I was there the owner started some of the old trucks like a 28 Lasalle, I liked it a lot. Different strokes for different folks. Another great video, thanks.
I like old cars for sure just didn’t want to spend the money. That old Lasalle should have been cool for sure.
This was my favouritest episode thus far. Can’t explain why. More riding than most videos, I guess. Nice.
Thanks Bill

When I lived in Tucson I graded that camp ground to smooth the roads after the monsoon season. That was over 20 years ago
Well you did a great job. The roads were still in great shape. 🤣🤣
My 2nd time to watch this Vid! I've ridden this area so many times over the last 40 yrs and it never disappoints!

Great video I always look forward to your videos. Best on UA-cam in my opinion. Stay safe and travel on.
Thank You so much Jody
Loved this.. minor problems and some good history!
Thanks
Patches's mom? Hello from Sue!
Such a small world sometimes. Yes, that was Sue in the background. Great place and great people. If it had been a little further away from the freeway who knows how long we might have stayed there.

Awesome season. Looking forward to the next one. 👍😎
Great Vid you guys. I've been to Jerome and Sedona and would love to ride through there too. Man that burger looked amazing. Love the longer days and warmer weather as I'm sure you must too. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, we're excited to finally see longer days and warmer weather!
Beautiful place the hike back up take your time
Sedona has to be one of my favorite places in the US. Another great video
It’s is an awesome area
We've all been there with a slow puncture- you handled it great. Fresh tires are always a good feeling :-)
Thanks
