I hid the cords behind the headliner and fished it down behind the a-pillar trim on the passenger side and then routed the wiring under the carpet and looped it up to a cigarette lighter. Ideally I’d hardwire it but the Volvo’s extensive plethora of fuse panels is a little intimidating. Works fine so far!

It's a neat looking car. Would it fit 3 average sized adults in the back? I am surprised the rear seats leg room isn't very good and I heard that the 3rd row is only good for children. I am also thinking of Hyundai Santa Fe of this age, since it has slightly bigger shoulder and hip room on the rear seat and likely better MPG. Some even have 3rd row which seems roomy enough but leaves little trunk space. But I think it's possible the Volvo would be better with the small overlap crash test result. (The Hyundai was never crash tested for small overlap but did great otherwise) also heard of the 2.7l engine having oil leak issues.

It’s really nice. I have a 2007 with the 6 cylinder engine and same color. Plus the I like the Swedish emblem on the tailgate gate you have.

It’s sort of the pre-R Design XC90, designated as the “Sport” model. But yes, “technically” it’s an R-Design.
