Volvo XC90 V8 Executive Sport Exhaust Cold Start
Installed an OEM Volvo sport exhaust on our 2011.5 Volvo XC90 V8 Executive with 225,000 miles. Starter needs to be inspected again but it still fires up every time.
Exhaust info:
Full Volvo sport exhaust from behind the cats, keeping all four catalytic converters but eliminating the muffler in the middle. Both rear resonators are intact.
Start up produces a sharp, crisp engine note that quotes down to a nice burble immediately. Very mild drone is only present around 48-55mph. Engine gets loud and snarly when you step on the gas and ask it to be. It’s a great exhaust system!

Got to ride a friend's 2020 Yamaha MT-03 around during a bike meet. With a custom exhaust and other goodies, this bike is a blast to ride! The Leo Vince exhaust sounds fantastic and the bike shifts eagerly. This thing is a torque monster for a 300cc naked sportbike!

2004 Volvo XC90 Driver-side Small Overlap Crash Test - TR5049 A 2004 Volvo XC90 is run into a solid concrete barrier at between 31-35mph. The structure of the XC90 held up well and the driver and passenger side airbags inflated. The side curtain airbag was disabled for the test to show the dummy kinetics within the vehicle as is struck the stationary barrier.

Added some H21W BAY9S LED bulbs to my XC90. However they hyperflash when a turn signal is activated so I will keep looking for a better replacement. But here is a quick visual with the hazard lights on.

Please be mindful of which lane you need to be turning into when at an intersection. Dual turn lanes are a common problem area for drivers turning into the adjacent lane with traffic next to them. A quick compilation of test videos I made on various loose surfaces to see how the Haldex 3 AWD system on my Volvo XC90 V8 would perform. Having open differentials front and rear doesn't help much, and this version of Haldex doesn't have DSTC intervention like on Haldex 4. But overall it did a decent job. It's a soft off-roader, not a hardcore SUV.

A blue car runs the red light, narrowly missing the Ford Explorer CMPD Police Cruiser which had begun to enter the intersection. The cop car promptly pulled the erratic driver over. Dashcam wasn't recording audio but there was a LOT of tire noise and then a police siren. It was so refreshing to see the police pull over someone running a red light (that had been green for over 3 seconds!!)

I want that! Perfect for a guy like me who wants a throatier tone and a little extra volume like the V8 S80 has. The stock XC90 V8 exhaust is much too quiet.

I love this V8 but I'm not impressed by the offroad capabilities of this XC90... I owned a Range Rover 1986 (from 1986 to 1996) and I was able to climb incredible steep slopes with the automatic gearbox (4 speed ZF) and the low range engaged. Tyres were the ordinary M+S (Mud and Snow) fitted on commercial vans.

@@spinoplays6703 what is “rice” tho? There’s not much you can do performance to a Kia soul. Atleast I can work on the visuals and stand out.
@@RussellTheTrader97 rice is race inspired cosmetic enhancements, basically all show no go. And yeah it's true there's not really any aftermarket engine support for a kia soul, I guess make it look more outstanding than other souls. So ig have fun, make it look amazing
