I’ve been watching back pain videos for 6 months while I’ve been healing. Your channel has been THEE best single resource I’ve found. So much garbage info out there. Cheers man, thank you.
- Adive
Thanks for supporting the channel and glad it's been helpful :)
Hey Remi, hope you're doing great! Could you please make a video about the ab wheel and how to progress safely if it's good for building a strong core ? Also, I'd like to know your opinion on running and if it is safe for someone with a disc bulge.
- Mo
For sure. I'll keep that in mind for a future video. As per your second question, it depends on if you have symptoms or not with running.
@@RemiSovran Running doesn't cause pain, but I'm afraid I'm setting myself up for a huge flair down the road!
Remi, do you think this injury can be overcomed without surgery? I've seen 3 neurosurgeons that voted for no surgery but I'm suffering for 13 months now! Sitting is the biggest trigger and I can't see my self sitting freely ever again
- Ghada
100%. Sitting was my biggest trigger and now it isn't anymore. Took about 2 years though to get to that point and being 100% committed to a rehab program.
@@RemiSovran Glad to hear, I'm trying not to give up but it's so hard and depressing. Thank you for existing Remi, you are a life savior.
Are you familiar with postural restoration institute? Great video!
Yes, I've heard of them. Thank you!
Hey remi, I don't get this cue of shoulders back and down when ever I put my shoulders back and down I get the pain that one gets from over extending the spine even though my spine is not extended but the sensations are very similar.
Could it be im forcing it?
What if you don't put your shoulders back and down? If I just keep my bcak straight and keep the shoulders relaxed instead?
Hey remi I do have nerve symptoms but in my MRI It doesn’t say that there is any direct nerve compression.
And also there no osteoarthritis or loss of disc height . Wanted to ask if I can do Mackenzie extensions ?
- Kunal
I can't give specific recommendations. Also, keep in mind an MRI is a just a picture of your anatomy. A dynamic MRI would be more accurate were different postures and loads could be analyzed.
Hi remi cat camel stretch is good or bad
I feel pain while doing that stretch can I stop doing that ?
- Pradheep
If it triggers back pain, either reduce the range of motion to stay in a pain-free motion or eliminate the exercise until symptoms decrease.
Hi remi how many times a week Do you use kettle bell swings? Is it the only exercise that places posterior shear on the spine ?
Hey Chris,
It depends. I rarely use them in my own training, but I often find myself teaching the swing to others. If I'm using it, it's generally no more than 1-2x/wk.
