Thanks Remi! you're the best. Congrats on your certification in the McGill method!
Thanks, Joey :)
Looking forward to starting rehab program with you! Thank you!
No problem! :)
Please Do the needful exercise for L4 L5 Disc Issue. Thank you

Hard to recommend specifics without a full assessment, but a good starting point tends to be walking and the McGill big 3.
Hi Remi,
Your video are gold for people who are struggling with back problem.
What is your opinion about kneeling chaur? Do they lower stress on the back?
Thanks
Yes, kneeling chair can be helpful as long as the knees are okay :)
Apologies if you addressed this in an earlier video but another tip is to recline the chair back if possible. The closer the chair back and seat is to 90 degrees, the worse it is. This realization was life changing for me with pain relief
Yes! Reduces the pressure on the back. A game changer for some.
How about addressing SI joint issues? Thanks for the very good video!
No problem Mary! It depends on the cause of the SI issue, but generally most SI issues I've seen are a result of instability and stabilizing the area tends to address this problem. Think less stretching, more stability exercises.
@@RemiSovran that goes along with my PT protocol. I had a pretty severe L5 S1 injury and subsequent surgery( I had a bone fragment attached to my nerve with scar tissue) last year which I rehabbed. Now my pain radiates from the Si joint down an inch or so and makes sitting a challenge at times. I recently relapsed after really good recovery so I guess we just keep working on stabilizing.
I am only 19 and last month I lift like a 15 kg box and I got a pinch pain in my lower back the first 2 hours are a bit mild pain after it became severe that whenever I walk I feel sharp needle pain in my back I went to doctor he gave me some inflammatory medicine and said don't bend and lift weights for 20 days and now it has been a month yeah the pain is gone 90 percent and still I get pain while sitting I can't sit mostly I Just like down on bed and then I started doing hanging and it helped me to relieve my pain to 99 percent yeah that 1 percent pain still there and from last week I also started experiencing little tingling in my left foot only foot area and no pain in back should I go for an MRI because my pain is almost gone but that tingling feeling is like hella 😞 and that tingling mostly occurs when I lie down during sitting and standing there is no tingling sensation only when I lie down and yeah one thing also I want to tell you that after taking those medicines for 10 days I started feeling severe burning in my stomach again went to doctor he said maybe those medicines effected you so this is what has happening with me from last one month and it also affecting my studies
Sorry to hear that Cyan. I would follow-up with your doctor to make sure everything is okay. Glad to hear you've had such a big improvement. If your still struggling to get rid of that last bit of symptom, I'd suggest visiting a back pain expert like Dr. Stuart McGill :)
U should definitely demand an MRI, I hope u see this reply. Some doctors dont really care about their patients. I believe whenever someone hurts their back they should get an MRI because u need to know whats the real problem and thats how u gonna know how to treat it
Keep it hellaaa easy while u wait for ur MRI results, these back injuries take a looonnnggg time to heal and u dont want to aggravated it, even tho u dont feel that bad, take it easy
@@ashlyreyes8517 got one mri l3 l4 central disc protrusion and l4 l5 disc bulge and loss of lordosis and dehydration of discs I got fucking depressed literally why with me
@@cyanexwr hello dven I have the same as u.. how are u treating urself plz
Brother out of 4 stages of disc herniation which one you had, asking to just know to have some motivation to my recovery
- Smith
Disc protrusion.
@@RemiSovran Hi Remi i did some research but i am not getting any idea of differences between disc protrusion and disc bulge and which would take more time to recover, would you please clarify me 😔?
@@smith2186hey how are you now?? Hope you're doing well ❤️🩹
I herniated a disc into my spinal canal about a month and two weeks ago. I was getting better, but I didn't k ow how to treat myself carefully, as I was still helping the person with the ms that I lifted that got me this in the first place. Squatting down, pulling her socks on and off etc also I was attacked by ywo people physically during this period. At that point the disc reherniated, since then I've been lying down for two weeks, and in that period I think I've rehurt it twice. I doubt I've any disc left. Anyone any experience or knowledge about what I need to do, not do, I saw light at the end of the tunnel up until the second herniation, but am really despondent for my future after last two smaller ones. Is this my future now? I'm kind of wishing for surgery now. Though it would terrify me, as I've never even been into hospital for anything.

I'm sorry to hear that. I can only imagine what you've been through. If you need help with any specifics or recommendations, please reach out personally :)
I’ve had pretty serious sciatica down my leg to the top of my right foot but now the pain is just in my right glute.
Any tips on how to sit more comfortably with it? I think it’s piriformus. I’m working with a kinesiologist in a gym but it’s still quite painful to sit for more than a few minutes
- Johnny
Hard too say specifically without seeing you. But a sit stand desk may or standing desk may be of interest to you until the damaged tissues desensitize and heal. The back supports from backfitpro.com also may a worthwhile look and investment.
@@RemiSovran thanks for the reply Remi. One of the first investments I made was to buy a sit/stand desk, huge source of relief for me. I also bought a fancy chair with lumbar support that is very nice, I just can’t use it for long. Can’t wait for this to be over. It’s been 2 years now
Is it OK to lay flat on back
Depends. Sometime that may be the best position for some. Others that may cause pain.
Hi Remi, what's your opinion on massage gun regarding back pain or sciatica ?
- Smith
The massage gun would be helpful for reducing stiffness, but I wouldn't use it as a way to treat sciatica.
