I have my Nami Blast Max for a year. It's called a Trailing Linkage, similar to an airplanes front wheel design. Its perfect for potholes in DC. I ride allday an barely hit 50% battery at night. I usually ride about 10miles before it drops to 90%, I park for a few minutes, regen brings it back up to 100%.. pretty amazed each time I see it happen which is daily.
@@RIDEGLIDE as much as I want that larger battery and more top speed, the Klima was my choice for my needs. First and last mile ride or on warmer days, that 30ah will take me home from work. 25km distance is nothing lol
These scooters are amazing. The technology seems to get better by the day and they're getting a little more competitively priced as well. Great review. This one looks like a blast!
3:11 Totally on point here. That was the idea, and makes it very stable in high speed. Also, the wheel is not fighting to go backwards, so no need of steering dampers.
Was great speaking to you on the phone yesterday talking about the nami burn e max, definitely gonna step up to a nami burn £4,500 one after Christmas ready for when hopefully the laws are relaxed may 2024 I have good credit excellent so I can get it on newpay.
First comment I'm waiting for this review for the long time, Now I have 2 choice between this one or the Burn-E for the long term esp. using it as a food courier services in a temporary work.
@@RIDEGLIDE If I get the 28Ah Burne, what exactly are the things I will be missing out on not going for the burne max other than the obvious shorter range?
Big thanks for the review guys!! I have a question, if u can help please. I have a Nami burn e max 2. I’m a tall rider. What is height of stem from deck to handlebars? 42”?
Nice review. Which scooter would you ultimately prefer for off-roading? Do you think that Kaabo Wolf Warrior series (King GT, X GT) are better for off-roading due to more stability and better overall steering control? (due to dual stem, less springy suspension, etc.?)
We have had them all in and the techs always pick the Burn-e. The suspension is adjustable which is a game changer for different terrains and the customisable settings allow the rider to change quickly for different requirements 👍👍
@@RIDEGLIDE well, technically speaking - for spring stiffness on Nami Burn E you would need to use a wrench tool. The red suspensions knob only adjusts rebound quickness. From what I have tested, for off-roading and forest trails I would prefer actually Kaabo scooters with dual stem and minimotors controller / EY3 display. Maybe it's just my personal taste, but I think many people would second that as well. What makes Kaabo X / King more suitable for off-roading in my opinion is: 1) More responsive & accurate minimotors controller and throttle (Nami has a noticeable delay + dead zone) 2) Dual stem design - gives more stability and control (Nami feels more flexing) 3) Less bouncy springs as well contributes to more overall stability and traction feel / control of the scooter. (but yes, Nami absorbs bumps better) As you have tested them all - would you agree on those points? Another question - what kind of settings you have used for Nami Burn E for off-roading situations? How tight you have adjusted springs, what is your rebound settings, motors power adjustment, etc.? :)
@@NiuxTech definitely each person will be different. Having the rebound adjustment (red knob) allows you to change how fast the suspension opens back up which is really important for changing between terrains. Smaller regular bumps for the quicker setup and larger impact will need the slower setup to not get thrown off, pre load set up before the ride 👍 Like the wolf dual stem but can be less agile on the trails. Tricky decision but would go Nami for quality and customisation 👍👍
Kaabo is badly designed. what they were thinking doing a rear suspension with bushings is madness, the fact they kept doing this up until the GTR, tells me they don't listen really. Nami will always be the better option. kaabo is badly designed, poor after care, actually aftercare dont exist, getting parts is hard. Nami rocks.@@NiuxTech
Tobie great job documenting on the 1 wheel !! How can I write you a letter? WOW with the IP rating......... I'm a little weary with the lack of the opposite fixing side. With no protection on this display, I guess you could slide a glove/mitten/sock on it. I like the delay with the thumb throttle, but I don't like that exoskeleton is lower than the Burn E. I totally wish I was there for the tire swing & I want the hat you threw on the ground!! Dan, Duncan nice race!!
Almost identical on the track, the Blast being slightly lower with the lower stem is probably marginally better but is also slightly smaller so really hard to give a definitive answer. The riders in the video said the Blast was very stable but most of them ride the Burn-e regularly and absolutely love it 😃🙌
Klima for smaller profile, tighter areas and Blast for speed riding, longer distances. Power up to 25mph is pretty similar, if you are heavier the Blast may be better! Hope this helps 👊👊
How did or would the blast do after lots of mud? I can understand a new ride would probably work well after just a day or two, but the longevity is what I'm curious about. I own an Alta EXR which is an all electric dirt bike and i honestly abuse the heck out of it. Dead-nuts reliable though. Hands down is the best motorcycle I've ever owned so this E-stuff is really starting to get good.
Thats a seriously nice bike! Well the Nami models handle the water well and we have had no issues after drenching it but water has a habit of getting in no matter what you do so we are always sure to wipe the products down and dry them off as best as possible!
3:26 the front suspension looks like a progressive spring coil. Without seeing it in the flesh it would help with an initial set on a turn and take a harder hit in rougher off-road terrain. I’m wondering if you could add some different types of springs to further the facilitate the shock dampening? I’m thinking the lower bars allows you to counter steer and move your body mass further away and lower your COG? 10:19 I’m having to watch with the English captions on, I’m from California. It said you’re paying top dollar for the girls? Hmmm 🤔 😅

Very interesting suspension, it’s similar to trailing link landing gear on aircraft, which provide the best landings. Obstacle clearance should be better as well, since the tire will be pushed up out of the way where a typical C arm scooter would just jam into it. I’ve been wondering for a while if any manufacturers would try this style. Does look a bit goofy though.

@@nathenholzl9259 no worries, its a different feel from the Burn-e because it is a lot lower which was great on the track and in the woods on the harder ground. The Burn-e was more comfortable on the more uneven terrain and for long rides was overall a bit more comforatble we felt 😀👍

electic manc evades them all the time
Don't like the lower stem, thats dangerous for a taller person like me.
Not going to be for everyone but the design is geared toward speed, worth trying out though if you get the chance 👍👍
@RIDEGLIDE that's true, bending knees does help with stability. I guess I should do that more.
You need EUC
We have done a few EUC vids 👍👍
At least be more realistic.Don’t promote the blast with lies!!! 52.2 top speed and wins the Thunder 2!!! Thunder 2 can do 62 easily on flat road. Burn E beats the Thunder 2. But blast with that 52 can’t!!! FACTS!!!
Think you've got the info wrong. Blast accelerates faster than the thunder 2 over 100 and 200m which is in the review. We never said that it has a higher top speed. Check out our Thunder 2 review to see the speed run. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video, come down any time to try out either scooter 👍👍
This put C-type suspension to shame!
No it’s not the fastest 60volts scooter. I’ve got a Weped FF and it will destroy the nami Blast.
Bring it down and let’s race them 😃👊👍
@@RIDEGLIDE I’m in south London. Whenever you’re ready.
@@kirikokoriko yesssssss, do you go to cyclo park when its on?
Love the scooter design, but the neck is junk !
Yer not gunna be for everyone but actually looks a lot better in person!!
I'd have to show you my scooter design one day soon . This summer ? ☀️ an absolute novel design all around! 24s 18p 630amp? using 2 FarDriver ND 84530 ! Samsung 50s battery. Range of an hour or 2? Maybe 78+mph for 1/2 hr? The batteries might cost 2× more than the scooter build ? Engineers might figure it out why the neck is garbage one day ? 🤔 but till then ride to keep it in one piece, and hopefully it will do the same for you! Keep cranking out the great content ! ...more please!
@@Vmaxfodder thanks and look forward to seeing yours!! 👍👍
Please bin the unnecessary background music, it's so annoying.....
It takes so long to pick it you wouldn’t believe 😂😂
@@RIDEGLIDE Agreed. save the time n use nothing.
@@JP-qq2kn hahaha point taken 👍👍
Yeah the content is good enough where you don't really need background music
@@RIDEGLIDE I like it the way it is. I'm listening to every word you're saying.
7260r goes over mud
Too much money stop mean to f****** greedy
Have you tried one? Come down any time to the shop for a chat and demo 😀
Lol.....mommy!
😂😂😂
No original is way better looks like they made a knockoff
The original as in the Burn-e? Come and try it out, you might be surprised 👍
Sorry "wrong" was not the best word choice. I did want to ask have you found any driving difference's between the two suspension's.
@@nathenholzl9259 no worries, its a different feel from the Burn-e because it is a lot lower which was great on the track and in the woods on the harder ground. The Burn-e was more comfortable on the more uneven terrain and for long rides was overall a bit more comforatble we felt 😀👍
looks like a horse
It actually does 🤣🤣
good review thx, but all this acting is a bit annoying on this channel ..of course this is just my annoying opinion :)
so I can easily mute the video and read the subtitles
Thanks for watching 🙌 just trying to have a bit of fun with it but it’s not for everyone 👊
Makes it more enjoyable for me, maybe not for everyone
It’s why I love the R&G videos couple of guys mucking about actually makes it more enjoyable similar to what Clarkson & co got up to on Top Gear
@@YouProductions1000 🙌🙌
@@darren2656 Thanks so much, great to hear 😀👍
It's bloody ugly scooter never see in planet earth 🌏 😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂 it definitely grows on you!!
Just one question..are they have BMS or needed to be upgraded? NAMI scooters..
Are you asking if they have a BMS?
@@RIDEGLIDE yes sir,do they have a BMS? Probably needed like and extra waterproofing, turning lights, back view camera, gps tracker...and most important what every scooter need but no one have....some light plastic shield ,bullet shape on the front to reduce body wind resistance like every moped..what brings me to qustion it is better to take new scooter or used with 900km for good price?
pon la suspension delantera atras atambien ...
15 zoll tire and higer poition will be a big chance in scooters
New designs are coming soon, lots of ideas for bigger wheels 😀👍
Never noticed it’s single swing arm, weird asf
