  • In this match I got a chance to experiment with some new techniques I'd been thinking about. Was a lot of fun!

Looks like a 20lb difference lol. I'll give props for the super duck. Everything else looked a little sloppy, but that happens sometimes when you wrestle a fish. Clearly an overwhelming athletic and technical mismatch. You were obviously playing with him

yeahgood point, a bit of a mismatch. there were some tougher guys at that tournament but some of those recordings were lost 😕

That was awesome! How do you set up your low singles? What weight class is this?

Thanks! This is 184! I usually set them up by getting low, faking a look behind me, then diving for the leg. I think its more clear at 0:08 and 2:39. It catches a surprising amount of people off guard if you’re quick enough!

@@wrestlingscience at 1:26, why did you choose to do that as opposed to sprawling

@@user-tv1tp2fr1u Normally against a better opponent I would sprawl, but I was pretty confident he couldn't get to my legs even if they were right in front of him. After about 30 seconds to 1 min of wrestling someone you should be able to get a feel on how good they are and what kinds of things you can get away with.
