The Genius of Jordan Burroughs - Part 2

IG @nben995 for more content! I spent hundreds of hours closely analyzing every single one of Jordan Burroughs' matches to learn what techniques and strategies made this guy untouchable for 4 straight years. It was so much more than just being fast or explosive. His approach to wrestling was so genuinely unique no one could figure him out no matter how much film on him they could gather. Until ...

Subbing for the berserk ost
We need more vids king, keep it going this is gold
Nice video
this is awesome thanks
Great video breakdown honestly; videos the majority of athletes can only dream of.
BANGER❤
RIP
RIP to who?
Salute to putting this together. the time and energy you put into this is UNMATCHED!
I loved your video on Sadulaev.
I would have pancaked you right to your back.
Berserk Music in a wrestling video nice
You could put an slow motion on the part that you were describing his counter attack to undercooks. And also add cuts from other videos. All in all great
Is part 2 coming out? Loved this first tid bit
Very Underrated video
Are you going to finish this
Where is Part 2
Love the vids
Had they scored it a takedown, Nolf would have answered back. JS😘
agreed!
Searched for a guy like you for very long time, thank you. Being able to explain motion throughout words is incredible.
thank you thats very kind :)
Looks like a 20lb difference lol. I'll give props for the super duck. Everything else looked a little sloppy, but that happens sometimes when you wrestle a fish. Clearly an overwhelming athletic and technical mismatch. You were obviously playing with him
yeahgood point, a bit of a mismatch. there were some tougher guys at that tournament but some of those recordings were lost 😕
Crazy how much research went into this. Respect for making this
We miss you just so you know.
Yo nice job, but where’s the jb part 3?
I'll post David Taylor part 1 this fall along with JB part 3 following the world championships. I need more footage to make it interesting.
@@wrestlingscience 👍
Still waiting for part 3 hahaha
That was awesome! How do you set up your low singles? What weight class is this?
Thanks! This is 184! I usually set them up by getting low, faking a look behind me, then diving for the leg. I think its more clear at 0:08 and 2:39. It catches a surprising amount of people off guard if you’re quick enough!
@@wrestlingscience at 1:26, why did you choose to do that as opposed to sprawling
Amazing job.. Your breakdown is clear.. Just keep uploading such videos.. It'll be helpful for us.
@@user-tv1tp2fr1u Normally against a better opponent I would sprawl, but I was pretty confident he couldn't get to my legs even if they were right in front of him. After about 30 seconds to 1 min of wrestling someone you should be able to get a feel on how good they are and what kinds of things you can get away with.
Sube mas tecnicas esta exelente 👊
Burroughs losing several steps and winning another world title proved he is highly technical and not just speed
Love to see a breakdown of jb’s technique! No one talks about it!
Shout out to berzerk
Amazing analysis keep it up brother
Dude where’s pt 2
That’s awesome
nice!
Sadulaev part 2 please!!!
Awesome!
