Muslim women can seek maintenance from husbands after divorce under Section 125 CrPC: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court ruled on July 10, 2024, that all women, including divorced Muslim females, can file a petition under Section 125 CrPC. This section deals with a wife's legal right to seek maintenance from her husband.
