I appreciate Subramaniam Swamy's insights and analysis of the government; he offers excellent perspectives. However, the fact that he possesses information about our country's leadership, which he is allegedly holding back and using as leverage for his own benefit, is deeply concerning. The Indian public deserves to know what compromising information the Chinese, or any other entity, might have on our Prime Minister, as he has previously claimed that it influences his policies and decisions. This issue affects the entire nation and should be made public. If Modi is sacrificing India's sovereignty and future to keep a secret, he needs to step down. Furthermore, if it later comes to light that Swamy knew all along why Modi compromised our country, then Swamy should also be investigated for treason.

Both Nelson Mandela, and Mahatama Gandhi found an exclusive mention in UNOs Constitution. Now coming to Hindu Mahasabah and RSS. We need to know as to why these organization came into existence. There is a very precise reason to it. The growing influence of "Western Political Outlook" on our freedom fighters was not a development which a few contemporary hindu hardliners could reconcile. Veer Sarvarkar a fire brand Maharashrian brahmin, had taken up the cudgel to defy it. And alongwith Lala Lajpath Rai and Madan Mohan Malviya, had therefore constituted Hindu Mahasabah. (Lal Lajpat Rai later died of head injury in Karachi while protesting against Simon Commission. And MM Malviya chose for himself path of "educationist".) Please understand, "Modern Political Outlook", upholding "Freedom, Justice, & Equality" was certainly not acceptable to people like Veer Sarvarkar. An orthodox and conservative, he was more given to Manusmriti, which dictates caste based division of Hindu society. On the contrary "Right to Equality", is one of basic postulates of Modern Political Ideology. So it is this clash of ideology which has continued till date. Firstly Hindutava is just a sham. It is not even in grazing contact of with the core values of Hinduism. International observers have placed it at par with Islamic Fundamentalism. HINDUTAVA & HINDUISM
Dear Neelu,
I beg to differ with the mention of Hindutava by Mr Swamy. He doesn't understand that Hindutava only has sidelined him, sans his distinctive knowledge and outstanding caliber.
Let us be clear about Hindutava and Hinduism. There is a huge difference, which we need to understand.
There is a book written by Late Shri Girilal Jain Former Resident Editor of TOI , "HINDU PHENOMENON". It basically pertains to Indias freedom struggle. And this book has a fantastic message. When entire globe was drenched in human blood owing to World War, Hinduism for its "self determination" had chosen a path of "ahinsa and satyagrah", which has been its core ideology upholding humanity. Herein lies the greatness of Hinduism. These ideals of Mahatama Gandhi were duly acknowledged when UNO came into existence. Both Nelson Mandela, and Mahatama Gandhi found an exclusive mention in UNOs Constitution.
Now coming to Hindu Mahasabah and RSS. We need to know as to why these organization came into existence. There is a very precise reason to it. The growing influence of "Western Political Outlook" on our freedom fighters was not a development which a few contemporary hindu hardliners could reconcile. Veer Sarvarkar a fire brand Maharashrian brahmin, had taken up the cudgel to defy it. And alongwith Lala Lajpath Rai and Madan Mohan Malviya, had therefore constituted Hindu Mahasabah. (Lal Lajpat Rai later died of head injury in Karachi while protesting against Simon Commission. And MM Malviya chose for himself path of "educationist".)
Please understand, "Modern Political Outlook", upholding "Freedom, Justice, & Equality" was certainly not acceptable to people like Veer Sarvarkar. An orthodox and conservative, he was more given to Manusmriti, which dictates caste based division of Hindu society. On the contrary "Right to Equality", is one of basic postulates of Modern Political Ideology.
So it is this clash of ideology which has continued till date. Both RSS and Hindu Mahasabah do NOT accept Indian Constitution. Mohan Bhagat, therefore, for very obvious reasons, has openly denied reservation policy.
So let me summarize.
Firstly Hindutava is just a sham. It is not even in grazing contact of with the core values of Hinduism. International observers have placed it at par with Islamic Fundamentalism.
Secondly under the umbrella of Hindutava crime & corruption have surpassed all limits. It is too typical to watch. Resorting to prayer with folded hands for hours and displaying absolute allegiance to Almighty, but thereafter being a devil for the rest of the day. Is this what religion is ? Or religion begins once the prayer ends !
Thirdly these self styled vanguard of Hindutava, RSS and Hindu Mahasabah, are retrogressive. They have no future agenda. The question is, can we build modern India by getting occupied with past ? Can we drive a car looking into rear view mirror ? ... Ramayam and Mahabharat, are religious books which deserve all awe & respect. But these books can't be our master guide in present age. Please also understand religion is always contemporary. History testifies it. Every age has defined for itself a religion. Upholding a very noble political outlook, this age has defined for itself a religion called "secularism". So if our SC judge has said , our Constitution was our religion, he was absolutely correct.
Lastly in this age of science and technology, Hindutava is a perfect picture of "obscurantism". Building "scientific temperament" based on logic & reasoning has been set aside. And pardon me , I do not want to make any mention of scientific averments of Modi. But the fact of the matter is, when faith overrides rationalism, insanity sets in.
The brutal murder of rationalist like N Dabholkar, Govind Pansare, MM Kalburgi, Gauri Lankesh, point fingers at RSS only.
