shout out to the tinman guys for this! went to the group run a couple weeks ago and all of them we’re super nice guys! feels to good to be supporting such a good group that genuinely cares a lot about the community that supports them! bravo
Really don’t like that you guys call it suffering 😂 is it working hard? Sure. Is it painful? Probably. Are they suffering? Hell no. Nothing about being flown out to Boulder and spending time with a pro team and running in beautiful scenery says “suffering”. Just like when you guys made the video 2 years ago about “learning to suffer” by waking up at a normal time and running on an amazing road. Go get a 9-5 job, barely paying bills, and running on city sidewalks at 5 AM. That’s what most of your audience does on a regular basis. That’s suffering.
This runners will never win againsts the Kenyans and Ethiopians simply because the dont have the same day to day struggles as the africans... Like the struggle to get food (these kids worry which food to eat and if its vegan or not or what the calorie count is), the struggle to buy another pair of running shoes (these western runners worry what color of shoes to wear), No amount of coaching, nutrition, equipment and science can help you win in a sport that is dominated by africans who see winning as a ticket out of poverty.(to them its a Job)... These western kids treat this a hobby... (and the channel package it like some sort of competition training guide) not a single one of these kids will win in a international distance running competition (5km to full marathon) that has Kenyan or Ethiopian runners in the lineup.. if your coaches tell you otherwise then theyre lying or full of themselves.. if you think im lying then i suggest you visit iten, kenya.. if you can outrun the farmers in iten you can trully call yourself "ELITE"
