I was very impressed to see that many people running a Marathon in little Boulder. Then of course it made a lot of sense that it was a gathering for four different races and only a small part ran a whole Marathon.
I always wanted to run a Marathon, I'm aiming for a half Marathon this summer. SInce you ran a Marathon on the impressive time of 3:27 and done most your training riding a bike. Seems the lesson learned is that I also should increase my mileage cycling

My Sunday long run overlapped the Boulderthon course in a few places and was impressed with the energy and crowd support. I didn't do the race though as I have Javelina in under 3 weeks!

Olee, oleee, oleee, oleee...Ryan is hilarious! LOL...and an AMAZING racer on the top of it! The bastardito was running holding a camera, stopped everywhere, had fun with the public and with his shadow...and finished in 3h 27min without even training! Bravissimo. Thanks for sharing the spirit of the boulderthon!

Much cooler at pearl st. I ran the inaugural event that started in out at the res and did all that dirt! Love the new layout, might have to give it another go next year.

You obviously have a big aerobic base to not train, yell through half of a marathon, stop every mile to say high, and still finish faster than a lot of people. I'd say biking does have some crossover...
I should clarify…I didn’t train specifically for this marathon, but I do run 3-5 times a week (about 5 miles a day)
I wanna go now and run! Amazing people and amazing you. In Switzerland people are shy except in finishing line….. there the whole world is encouraging (like we say …. So American) 😁
