  • In this video I wanted to post something nice and quick. We've had this issue happen with multiple flashes where the hotshoe connection becomes a little loose. I only have experience with the Godox TT600 and Godox TT685 but I'd imagine most flashes are built fairly similarly. The fix is actually quite simple as you can see in this video. This saved me a repurchase! Hopefully this is a long-term solution

Awesome! Glad we could help. I’ve had it on there since this video so I think you should be good for some time. Granted I don’t use on camera flash too much but it’s definitely more solid 🙌

YES!! Mine Godox V1n was wobbly. I watched other videos, but the hot shoe was broken, mine wasn't. So I followed yours and 2 of my 4 screws inside were just floating around in there. No wonder why it was wobbly!! I did also find a floating spring that I can't figure out where it goes. It is about as small as the eyeglass screws. Any ideas?

Niiiiiiice! Yeah sometimes it’s just a matter of digging in there lol. As far as the spring I don’t know but if it’s not affecting the performance or tightness of the shoe you might be fine without it I suppose 😁🤷‍♂️
