Wow!! You guys are blessed to be able to do that as often as you do What a life!!. I enjoy your adventures Ryan. Thanx for the informative and entertaining vidoes.
Right car for the Right Purposes. 4×4 cars are always good to ventures to forests and hilly areas. Thanks for sharing such a nice video. I have a passion for different cars. I liked your videos and Subscribed to your channel. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2022. My Best Wishes for Happy New Year .
Wow I am Blessed to be born in this beautiful peaceful country and again your camera skills are out of this world, thank you for this wonderful piece of art
Awesome man. We did this trip, but in the opposite direction. So nice to see it all again. That drive to kubu was the absolute pits though, didn’t enjoy that at all!
Thank you for sharing I think I have watched this video several times now🖤🙏 cant get enough of makgadikgadi pans and kubu island. I wish next time you could show us lil lekhubu which is 6km away from kubu island #addicted
Thanks Bright. Good to have your support. Unfortunately we don't offer tag along trips at this stage, but thank you for your keen interest. Maybe in the future. Keep well and let's see how it goes. Cheers 🤙
Hey Ryan, great stuff, excellent photography, videography, and the storytelling is on point. I'm really envious, here in Germany it is cold & grey, I'm dreaming & planning to do some trips to Botswana an RSA in the near future. Keep up the excellent work, thanks for sharing. As a Saffa, I often miss the African wilderness, I spent a lot of time in the nature, on farms, and hiking/camping.
Thank you Ingo. Appreciate your kind words and your support. We look forward to your adventures when you get here. Stay safe and let's hope your adventure is sooner than later. Cheers mate 🙌
Great work Ryan:D I always miss my family when I am away, but time spent with the fellas exploring here in Aus is also brilliant. Thanks for sharing mate.
Another awesome episode. Look forward to new episodes everytime. BIG High Five to your families for being accomodating & to U for sharing your adventures with us. Look forward to your next epic adventure.
Hey Karl and Alison. Only a pleasure and good to hear it. On to the next few episodes, so stay tuned in and I'll see you at the next one mate. Keep well 🤙
Yes, from Delta Meat Deli. Guys didn't check or stop us at the vet fence. Take it that there were no foot and mouth cases. Good observation though, well done
Thank you Herbert and awesome to hear the series was well received, and quality is approved 🤟. Only a pleasure mate, and until the next one, I'll see you then.
Hi Leon, thank you and its my pleasure to inspire. Don't leave the bucket list for too long. These places are really accessible. Here's to your next adventure 🙌
Hi John, awesome to hear rhatbyou watching from Aus. I'll put the name of the song in the description write up in the next episode, on account of, I don't know it off hand, just that it is from Artlist. Cheers 🍻
Thank you Sifiso. Trips are only as good as the places you visit and the people you travel with. Hopefully, we can continue to adventure travel in the new year. Stay safe bud
No worries. The new ford ranger looks great. I do prefer though the XL and XLT variant as the front lines make design sense to suit the squared off look, reminiscent of the American F150s. The wildtrak variant doesn't in my opinion, but with all the bells and whistles I hope they get a favourable pricing model. I think bakkies have become ridiculously priced, and are over inflated by far too much. The bakkies are made in 3 countries Malaysia / Indonesia (I think), Australia and South Africa.
Ryan, a great project as always to your high standards. I wish one day I can make a tour with you guys, as you are the the perfect tour guide. Greetings , Johan.
Awesome Johan, allot of work into this series and chuffed it has inspired you to want to join in. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for the kind words mate. Much appreciated. All the best and golden greetings legend. Ryan
Question, how do you drive to the toilets at night if you sleep in a roof top tent on the car? I see you have a tent on the trailer but I see you use your vehicle tent as well.
Fold up and pack away. We make sure no. 2 is done before 7pm and a worst case scenario we pre dig a hole close by the vehicle front tyres for emergency, or use the shower privacy cubicle. To fold up a tent at night is a massive problem and hindrance, if a vehicle is available we dedicate that to late night runs, excuse the pun. Point being, to make a plan and manage for worst case scenarios. It does happen
Wow Ryan, what a fantastic trip you have had, great commentary, fantastic videography, well done and thanks. Watching this I appear to have stuffed up big time, don't know where I made a mistake. In our 56 day trip next year (all pre-booked) we have to get from Kubu Island to Gaborone in one day. I'm trying to work out how far and approximately how long. I guess that one has to go past Khama and I know Khama to Gabs is approximately 340kms (4.5 hours). Roughly how far and how long would it take from Kubu Island to Khama? Appreciate your kind advice, thanks John
Hi John, yes, I wouldn't make that drive from Kubu to Gabs in one shot. Driving on the Bots roads after 5:30pm is a definite risk with all the cattle and donkeys. From Kubu to Khama is roughly 4.5 hours, give or take with a stop over in Letlhakane for something to chow, or refuel. We take it easy in the roads. All the best mate, and your trip is going to be something epic. Cheers and thank you for your comment
@@4x4ventures_southafrica Thanks Ryan, yes unfortunately I've stuffed up big time, our trip is all pre-booked so can't change plans as we would forfeit a day at Mabua which we are loathe to do. A nine hour day is huge but doable. I'll try to see if we can get somewhere between Khama and Gabs, not sure whether there is anywhere, I'll ask on 4x4 Community.
Magic. Epic. Just mint. I’m talking about the incident at 28:10. Rest of the video was pretty good too. 😅😂🤣

@@johnmarais7772 there are a few awesome cut lines that run next to CKGR that you could do or you could stay at Itumela. Have a Lekka trip
Where did the okes in the cruiser stay?
Doesn’t look like they have any kit
He carried a ground tent and the bear essentials. Goes to show, we don’t always need all the gear to be on an adventure
Great F**** video as always
very expensive WASH BAG WAS STOLEN AT ELEPHANT SANDS, found a better place now just around the corner
Eish, not good to hear. From elies or people? Let me know about the other place around the corner
Really Leka trip guys well done ! We did a very similar one around the same time as you guys, check it out on my mates channel (adventure first ).
