Gone in 60 seconds? You could be with the Rev’it Paramount Gore-Tex suit. Two zips and you’re dressed. Add lid, gloves and get riding. Find out the full story about this rain-repelling wonder…
Thanks to @officialbostonunited for providing the backdrop. Up the Pilgrims!
Good review as usual !!
I have had my Aerostich Roadcrafter Classic for over 10 years now...still performs very well.
It was custom-made, and their service and build quality are second to none...
( Yes, I have had Rukka , Halvarsson etc, )
One piece is not for everyone ... and it will be interesting to see if the Revit suit takes off
Keep the REAL WORLD reviews coming ...stay safe
Insane price
I only have one question, why the price is not £1600? I will never understand why the prices need to end on .999999…. 😅
To give you an illusion of it being 1500 and not 1600.
So anyone remember the Rev it infinity - i bought one and had to get a refund, leaked terribly. Just bought a Hardangar 🤞
I like the idea of a one piece suit especially for short trips away as you can just have normal day clothes underneath means less packing. I have the BMW coverall bought 6/7 years ago for £400 it has never let in any rain and that’s after very heavy days of constant rain but in summer as there are no vents it’s a bit like boil in the bag. The Rev’it suit looks to have solved the ventilation problem but £1600 is a bit too steep for my needs now and have other Goretex pro suits.
Itchyboots
In my opinion the benifits do not outway the price,,, there are alot of cheaper two piece suit s that are waterproof enough for most people,,,, maybe commuters ,,but really its not enough of a flexiable idea..Theres always going tobe drawbacks in the pocket department,,,you are always going to want that little something in your inside pocket.. I feel its very likely to be something you think you need but ends up in the back of the wardrobe never used...
Hello Tony, how long and comprehensive is the warranty?
Hi, the warranty lasts two years and we find Rev'it to be good on that score. You also have the backing of the Gore-Tex guarantee for the useable lifetime of the product. Details here... www.gore-tex.com/en_uk/support/product-claims Cheers, Tony
Great video Tony, can't see myself in a onesie though any time soon😃
Sadly I have to see myself in a onesie every time this video pops up 😆 Cheers, Tony
question is ... does goretex work?
In my experience it works, yes. Cheers, Tony
Fortnine's video on Goretex is worth a look.
@@roadwarrior8560 You think? Not the first time he didn't let facts get in the way of a good story.
@@roadwarrior8560 I wouldn't take Ryan's perspective as gospel
@@paulrollinson1305 I wouldn't take anybody's opinions as gospel, but his opinions on Goretex are worth considering imo.
I wouldn't hang a man for one offence either, his video on body armour was wrong advice imo. Fortnine's is a brilliant channel though.
Sportsbikeshop are the best in the business though for top products, customer service and value, and Tony's videos here are also fantastic, but I don't swallow everything I'm told, even on this great channel,
paper never refused ink, as the old saying goes.
