    I have EXACTLY the same sizes(L, 34), reasons to buy this, as well the colour! outstanding suite

      I think when I upgrade I will think about one of these. I wouldn't of before, on price grounds but hearing how it performs its worth considering for sure.

    4 years ago I was newbie on motorcycle and learned hard way (RST , Lindstrands) are basically not for long rides, just kind short/ local rides, so in total I spent a lot in things are not for me. now KLIM has outstanding build quality, very logic and u can see is made by people who learned from rides + listening customers reviews and opinions!

      Hi Mich, thanks for the comment and appreciate the info. That's exactly how Andy reflected on Klim and how he viewed the suit. If cost is not an issue for you then this is probably top adventure suit.

      I will also add, my AlpineStars suit (perhaps it is a little old now) does let a little bit of moisture through especially in heavy downpour I can feel my forearm and upper arm getting a little damp. Not ideal if you are on a long ride!

      @@MindfulMotorcyclist RST AND LIBDSTRANDS were together 1400euros, so and no use!for me!
      Is better spend in laminate: easy wenting, is wp no inner liners and bollocks.
      Your alpinestars is laminate or wp liner removable?

      Hi Ian, thanks for the comment. For me personally it's expensive, I would perhaps wait until the next version comes out or there is a sale (one of the less popular colours).

    I ride a big adv bike and I do traveling around Europe every November. Rest of the year I ride in my country Greece. I chose a klim kodiak suit 4 years ago and used it since. I have many riding gear but always when traveling and especially when I have to fight the weather conditions I always have my klim on. It never ever leaked a drop and it has always performed 100%. My travel buddy has the klim badlands due to different body type mostly and he also couldn’t be happier. Our other 2 travel buddies have cheaper suites and add some water proof rain gear when needed. They always seem to have leaking problems when it’s raining hard.
    I once had an issue with a zipper on my pants air vent. Sent it to Klim they changed it free of charge. I’m lucky it didn’t happen when I was on a trip though.
    Would buy it again 100%

    • @MindfulMotorcyclist
      @MindfulMotorcyclist  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Alex, thanks for the comment. Interesting that the cheaper suits let the rain in and the Klim is almost totally waterproof. What body type is your buddy with the badlands? Is it you think a suit for bigger riders? Thanks

      @@MindfulMotorcyclist hi there.
      Badlands is more an American cut so allows for belly and suits Better the body type that is in the scale shorter for the kilos they weight. So my friend and I weight almost the same but I am 10 cm taller. So I’m slimmer and the kodiak fits better to me.kodiak is more of a European cut.

    If the wrists are closed only with velcro, check further!
    I have a 5 year old Badland Pro, with approx 50000mi in it. Yes I ride in all weathers, sunshine to torrential rain, even snow. The four front pockets are NOT waterproof!* Very good kit, but overpriced, is worth about half!
    However, all pockets are well placed and large enough. A jacket that costs 4 figure in $, I require more than velcro to close the sleeves! That's a showstopper! At least for me
