    Damn Mike, Great video! That is much cleaner than the 15 piece bracket I had to make for my helmet.

    LOVE THIS TUTORIAL!! Great job Mike. That was very well explained and I will be using that method in the future!

      Thanks Raven, it beats having to possibly ruin a helmet by permanently gluing something to it, and it’s relatively cheap to do!

    That JB stuff you used was a lot cheaper than all the Sugru I bought for my mount. Nice work!

    Nice work Mike....another good option for camera mounting ....you could tape up your helmet and spray that white and it would completely disappear into the front of your helmet when there’s no camera mounted.

    That's a great idea. Probably much stronger than the built up and shaped 3M sticky pads I used. Might do this to mine as a long term fix.

      Minus the curing time and sanding, jt can literally be done in 20-30 minutes. Very easy, inexpensive, and durable DIY! Thank you for the comment!

I saw that someone was wearing a Kylo Ren version one your title sequence! Thank you for your comment, and also check out the Five Dirty Bikers Podcast! How long did you let it cure. I screwed up twice lol. And it peeled and flexed😪

    I was so inspired by what you did here and did one myself... only to realise the angle on how the mount went on the helmet was too vertical. And the problem is you will have a point down camera when mounted. Did yours not face the problem or you have a solution to that?

    • @WetBananaMike
      @WetBananaMike  3 роки тому

      You have to use a 1 to 1.5” extension mount. Although not perfect, this whole concept keeps the user from having too many joints and vibration. Thank you for the compliment and your question! Hopefully I answered it!!

      @@WetBananaMike thanks Mike. You are right, there are quite a few buckle design attachments that will fit the need.

      I live and ride in Topeka, Kansas. Originally born in Tn, moved here 5 years ago. I will be doing more ADV rides since I finally made my mount. Thank you for the questions!

      You video is valuable, did you come up with that idea yourself.? I can foresee a lotta of MotoVloggers now making their own custom fitting helmet mounts, thanks to you. Your the 1st MVer from Topeka I've ever come across. Do you maybe know LJ: The Friendly Hooligan.?
