Dude must have a time machine because according to napkin math he'd need at least 300 hours worth of garbage gigs to get to those figures even if we ignore making the DVD, any other pictures outside of the posed ones for the wedding party or commute to and from the event + setup. Because I can't get a job right now, I sell cookies to save money for things I want/need. $25 dollars for 5 dozen. I deliver them by longboard and don't charge for delivery even though I should start- anyway. In July, my grandma ordered a box and agreed to pay me $25 for it so everything was going well. Then the day I delivered them arrived. At the time, I was saving up to get tickets to a concert, which I obviously had a deadline for and this was one of the last boxes I needed to sell in order to get the tickets. I get there after longboarding in the hot summer sun with a backpack with the box she asked for and set the box down on the table. She walks over to greet me and hands me $15 and tries to convince me that's the price we agreed on. When I insisted the price was $25, she told me she didn't have any more than that, and $15 dollars was fine. After a little while, my aunt (who'd bought cookies from me before) ended up getting her to pay the rest of what was owed (which she did have, but she tried to give me a bag of quarters that still didn't add up instead of the ten she clearly had in her wallet). Seriously, I don't get why people think it's fine to pay less than what's agreed or try to haggle down the price of a product that's listed specifically. I needed that money ASAP and that was the fastest way I could get it before the deadline. Thankfully I got the money and the concert was great but it's still pretty dumb that it was that much of a struggle to get the money that was to get her to pay full price for the cookies I made for her.

It really is on the parents that their CB son turned out like that. When you don’t ever give your child any responsibilities growing up, this is how they turn out.
@@AltClev37 Firstly, the kid has had other exposures to life than his parents. Secondly, we literally do not know anything about his life. Yes, indeed there are times where the kid is messed up solely because of the parents, but there is nothing here that we can confidently say that it is the parents' fault. Thirdly, responsibilities are not a governing factor in a kid's character, at all. Forcing them to do house chores will not made them better people, it'll just make them know how to be independent, and will definitely not make them want to be independent. CB here has had several chances to be independent but doesn't want to be in any way independent. Also, blaming the parents for however the kid is does not help anyone, including the kid

3:06 free removal for what looks like a 30ft Mexican Fan Palm? it’s also got a pretty big skirt. adding to the challenge. no, that will never be free.

seriously though, if someone offers you something for free or really cheap, take it and sit down. or don't. either way, "I can get it cheaper somewhere else", "I'll come hurt you", "It's not worth that much", and "Take it or leave it" aren't valid.
I hate light beer. Tastes like water. But a free light beer? I'll down it happily XD

I love this subreddit!
That dude begging for money in the beginning LITERALLY RUNS A PYRAMID SCHEME
7:01 the editor is definitely pissed
I agree

This video causes me so much pain.. but it's like watching a train crash.. into an orphanage.. full of puppies and kittens.. you just can't look away.
8:10 if that was a walnut tree I'd take it, they are worth thousands
I love the way he pronounced “read before you swipe”
I just woke up, this is impeccable timing
25:10 - I'd absolutely LOVE to see his breakdown on how he makes 8k a day accepting gigs for 6 hours of photography + god knows how much time to edit and assemble the DVD reel for 150 bucks.
Dude must have a time machine because according to napkin math he'd need at least 300 hours worth of garbage gigs to get to those figures even if we ignore making the DVD, any other pictures outside of the posed ones for the wedding party or commute to and from the event + setup.
Just because photographers don't work as finance advisers that doesn't mean they can't do math.
26:07 What a long story, I'm sure there will be no threats made within it!
The bit about Wil Weaton is true, in fact it is used a lot in pay negotiations on Trek series. It is why Kim on Voyager never rose above the rank of Ensign.
I cant believe ShitExpress is an actual business. I'm dying
36:30 Jiffy Lube is the name of a place you can get oil changes, she's probably an employee there.
emkay, you made my birthday a pretty nice day, also jack thank you for being part of this channel
love to all the narrators
Happy Late Birthday! :D
13:39 you know what they should do troll the guy and pretend they have all the things that the guy wants and be like "hello yes I am that person on the phone" XD

3:01 My parents heat their house with a woodstove, that offer is amazing.
I feel like the "jiffy lube girl" may have been that he got his car serviced and they needed to have his contact info to let him know when to get his car? Idk how that works🤣
I feel like she's an ex he met at jiffy lube or that works at jiffy lube or some shit cus I don't think any employee would be that bold nor would he know about her home life. That or she's just an ex he keeps contact with that he doesn't want his gf to know about, in which case it makes sense she thought he would do that 💀
Because I can't get a job right now, I sell cookies to save money for things I want/need.
I actually agree with the thumbnail only in that food in general should be free and freely accessible to all people. I don't believe any type of necessity should be used for profit gains.
How would the people who make the food/farm it be able to feed their families?
Why don't you do it and then see how it turn out ?
@@anaveragewaterenjoyer7157 What does that even mean? You think I rule the world and can just decide on a whim to change the capitalist system? Lol.
@@AngrySecs The farmers are already poorly paid for their produce by the companies before the products get sold. All you'd need is to swap the companies with a fair deal from government funded food production plants.
Who do you plan on enslaving to make that happen? Ask someone from the former Soviet Union or modern China how those collective farms worked out.

16:50 They legit have a point though. Paywalls and worthless in-app purchases shouldn't even be legal anymore. I should NOT have to pay to remove some random watermark.
Imagine having no life so then you realize that the only thing left in life is to watch EmKay. Honestly, I wish I was that person. Thank goodness my wish came true two months ago when I saw The Worst of r/DIWhy on my fyp. Thank you for making my miserable study days at the peak of comfort. Best wishes to all of yall!

As an artist that owns a small business I formulate price by cost of supplies, time, effort. Know your worth and don't like people undercharge you, if they really want it they'll pay the full price for it.
It really is on the parents that their CB son turned out like that. When you don’t ever give your child any responsibilities growing up, this is how they turn out.
@@jacksprat9209 yeah. Sure thing Mr. Fart- Bubble 😑
@Madam Lt Arthur's right though....
@@pranavssivam6823 lol no he’s not though. There’s ABSOLUTELY zero proof he’s right. More proof that’s he wrong actually.
@@AltClev37 And also, what proof is there that the parents are in the wrong, and CB in the right?
36:33 I'm a big fan of doing this to people. Especially if they're under charging themselves, ive sometimes heard their price and gone "Alright, I'm giving you more as a tip"
This one summers day I was leaving the store and saw a homeless man and gave him a gatorade. He said thank you sarcastically and then asked if I had a phone charger he could use and money. I just left and said nothing because I was about to yell at him because of his ingratitude.....
bro... dont give shit off for free? XD ur kinda asking for ingratitude if you do shit like that lol
Still remember years ago when my dad gave a homeless man some sweets and just as we went round the corner we heard “I WANT CHANGE NOT SWEETS!”
We still quote that til this day

9:33 I Almost Spat Out My Drink
The only work I have done for free is my college placement and even then I got free hot lunches and drinks. I loved the job (though it was hard work which I was alright with anyway since it was caring for animals at a family farm) and would do it again. Two breaks plus a lunch break and I liked my superiors as they were very friendly. I have worked summer jobs at a family run kennel and cattery and even they could pay me (minimum wage but I didn't really mind since I didn't expect much anyway). People asking for free work of people if they are not willing to do so are annoying.
36:19 There is a car repair shop near my house called "Jiffy" I doubt they meant lube as in "that" kind as they probably meant grease/car lubricant.
I just want you to buy me an iPhone 69 then lend me some money, like $80,000. Is that so much to ask? IS IT?
no ofc not lemme get it for you
