My tomatoes and peppers are already hardened off. Groundhog predicted early spring. No Temps below 40 in the extended forecast. Texas zone 9a.

Gary, you have always said you live in zone 7a. I live in 7a. Last frost date for 7a is April 19. May 15 is a month later. Please correct for your viewers.

They vary. We can still get a frost day in early May but there is risk of frost 4/15 to 5/15.

Zones don't matter for annuals. It's your frost dates. I'm 8b but have a later frost than a lot of other 8b people. It's for your perennial plants that use zones which is an average low temp.

The dates vary in Maryland but it used to be May. Im by Baltimore.
