Wow, this video is mind-blowing! I've always been fascinated by Sigmund Freud's theory of Id, Ego, and Super Ego, and this video really brought it to life. The way it explores the depths of our psyche is truly eye-opening. I can't wait to share this with my friends and delve even deeper into this fascinating subject. Thank you for creating such an informative and engaging video!

Another interesting video, thanks! I remember this topic from my early days in college and found it interesting then too. I'd be interested in hearing more how this theory has been applied to the advancing science of psychology. This theory is fundamental in nature and I'm guessing very over-simplified. Can you provide any thoughts/input on this?

The voice-over (narration) is very strident and grating. It sounds like the voice-over on many of the YT ads that make fantastic claims about worthless products. It's very off-putting. In addition, I don't like to be told at the start how amazed and surprised I am going to be; that, to me, is a "tell" that the information might not be able to stand on its own. This seems beneath Mr. Brain mission. I would like to see a Mr. Brain video on the psychological-dynamics of hucksterism with a focus on advertising claims because so many people are being duped by it. I will watch this video to the end for the information, but I have a credibility problem due to the inappropriate narration.

Very valid points you make. That imo makes you more intelligent than those who put this video together. The content may be correct but the presentation and style is rather hypocritical of the information imparted.

Sigmund Freud I understand has little stock among psychologists today. When you start quoting Freud you're bound to lose their attention.
Why should people today respect the theories of a coke-addicted, late 19th and early 20th Century psychoanalyst who had issues himself?

That is true. Much of what he once said and was taken as near fact has since been debunked or at least given less credit. I even remember when in a Psych class at the the of 16 (about 40 years ago) the class was taught of Freud's beliefs that female infants feel jealous that they don't have male genitality. We were told when they first take note of there father's biological difference they want the same. I thought then where is the evidence and suspected it was a lot of rot. Today I am convinced it is a lot of rot! I think the id and ego exist and are given different labels across academia. I don't think we should find it strange with have a sense of self and a conscience and with that an ego or whatever you wish to call that part that seeks to do what is best for our ownself and regard. Superegos I am not certain about as of yet.
I liked your comment and think it is an important contribution to this channel. Thanks and all the best.

I get it. This is AI generated voice-over. ID is pronounced three different ways: normally, with a long "I", and just saying the letters. Doesn't anyone proof your videos or don't you care about being professional. I can't listen any more.

I appreciate that although I feel stupid for not working it out for myself. Still better to learn from others then not at all. Cheers.
