    I like how enemies seem very aggressive and have some cool double combos.
    This is what has always separated the Double Dragon school from the Final Fight school of beat em ups.
    One is were enemies are dangerous, (often themselves have a set of kicks, grabs and punches) and must be respected to a certain degree, compared to Final Fight were it mostly comes down to grunts (where many enemies barely have more than one punch animation and no other move set), or henchmen that are sent in a pack of five to six enemies and generally don't do much more other than circle and look att you.
    This is what makes Double Dragon so unique and stand out.

    Wow! Alot to see here, and a lot to say, but I'll try to stick to the highlights of whats new. It will be a mix of compliments, concerns and questions. This is a review comment, so Its gonna be big, so get ready.
    First thing I want to say is how awesome Krauser is! I can tell he is really putting 100% passion into this project and I can see it...well... hear it that is! :) All NINE tracks I heard were excellent!!
    Jeff's Desert Eagle is great, even with its limited moves, I can see potential cool combos combining his weapon and his moves.
    I love the idea of the “upgraded” bad guys for mission 7. Makes the game look and feel even more professional. I think I have only played 1 or 2 games that have ever done something like this, and I can't even remember which ones they were lol. The upgraded AI looks pretty tough which is cool. Quicker dodging, crouching from jump kicks, new attack patterns, and blocking are all great.
    I take issue with the shorter dizzy time though. I know I usually have almost 3 seconds to do another attack, now it looks like I have 1.5 seconds. Its a little to much for them. Especially being that the Abobo's, Jeff and Gunguys have 3 seconds. I know I can't perform another cancel combo from another style when the time is this short. Hell, I don't even think I can style switch and then do an uppercut with this shortened dizzy time. I hope you reconsider this part.
    I also see you are adding new colors to them too. I didn't know you were gonna do that but since you are, I think I might see what I can do there heh heh. ;)
    The “Doom-style” gunguy from the chopper was one of my favorite parts of this video. The love and attention to detail is always satisfying to see. You even put the Shadow Warriors logo from the Mission 4 truck on the far right side of the Doomguy/Gunguy hud! Hahaha! Very cool! XD
    You should make him fire the shotgun more though. Its okay if he misses once in a while. Its cool just to see it shoot.
    I said it in the last video that the final stretch of the mission reminded me of Mortal Kombat. My suspicion was confirmed by the cool MK inspired boss statues on the red carpet. Another nostalgic aesthetic. But the best part was the Contra 3 Missile that lit up the whole floor! XD
    I saw in the chat that you said you were going to make fire fall sprites for the enemies but decided not to being that it was too much work. Well... I'm gonna talk to you about that later. ;)
    Correct me if I'm wrong but I think those “paintings” on the wall are the portraits of the bosses taken from the Return of Double Dragon japanese instuction manual. If it is so, then hot damn thats some dedication my man! I believe it goes: McGuire, Steve, Carlem, Jackson, and then the Chin Bros after the elevator.
    29:44 Duke appears!! Could you tell me where that jingle is from? I know its from some old game I can't remember. :p
    29:50 This is why I donate Mauricio. Its for moments like this. What you have done for Chin Taimei is breath-taking. I didn't really want to chat in the video this time, but when I saw this I had a grin on my face that wouldn't go away. The most noticeable thing about this was the excellent choice for his voice. Dragon Chan from Super Punch-out! Lol! Yes, it is very appropriate. All of the Super Punch-Out voice fx suit him perfectly. All the moves, his speed and aggressiveness, Its as it should be. He reminds me a lot of Jeff, but a lot faster, and quicker at building momentum against you. He is a perfect new sub-boss. The only thing that mildly bothers me about him is his death sound. I can barely hear it and it doesn't really sound like him Maybe cut Fei-Long's death sound in half and put it in there? Besides that, he's awesome and I can't wait to see more of him later!
    Now for the final room. I love that you are giving the alter colors of the mission bosses a chance to be seen here! I really really hope you can show off all the colors this way as now there are so many opportunities to do so. Route X, Y, Z, and hell even the US and JP routes of arcade mode can use alter colors for the bosses here. PLEASE PLEASE do this man! It would make me so happy!!
    As far as the fight goes it looks like a lot of fun. The Jeff and Chin Taimei wave as unexpected but was a great compliment to the fight. I think he should be wearing his default Green color here though. I mean it is the last time were going to fight him. Also fighting all 3 Storms at once is super cool too. I know its a WIP but I hope they descend down with all there special FX from mission 3 in the final version. Oh yeah and “Rain” should be front and center being that he is the boss lol!
    But even with all those waves, I feel that you missed one. The mission 4 boss, Mibobo. Yes, I did say BOSS because thats what he is. I'm really not liking how he is classified as a sub-boss but fights the exact same way at the end of mission 4 everywhere else. He is ridiculously overpowered as a sub-boss. Unless you are planning to make a slightly less murderous version of Mibobo, I will always call him Mibobo, not Jick, and feel that this enemy is out of place in the game. He is just too damn strong. I feel his true place is among the other mission bosses in areas like this. That would be perfect. I wouldn't mind fighting him there the way he is. But I DO NOT like fighting him like this in the middle of mission, and I will get rid of him very quickly If I see him. No style or flashiness for him, I will be just as cheap as he is. I know I talked about this in the 0.3 review. I hope you still reconsider this.
    And the glorious fight ends just as we see Duke appear. He looks really cool too. Seeing him slowly fade into the fight in a crouching position and this “powering up” looking like a badass. I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing what your gonna do with the last and most important fight in the game.
    Alright that wraps up the mission so far. There are a few other things I want to go over that I've noticed while studying the gameplay.
    I've noticed you have changed some of the defensive properties of the Dragons revolving around blocking and crouching. I saw here: 36:25 that crouching won't be as effective as it use to be. Which is a good thing to me as crouching has you being able to avoid almost every attack in the game. So yeah, it needed to be nerfed a little. At the same time you have buffed the blocking a little from what I saw. Normally the 3 Storm's jump kick was unblockable, but here: 38:25 it is. So good balancing as I can see
    Jimmy's new Super Double Dragon style switch moves are here and the both look great! However I noticed a little problem with the SS2+K,K move. It tends to kill the enemy prematurely. I've mentioned this kind of thing a lot in the 0.2 and 0.3 reviews. I'm sure you will fix it though. I spotted it here: 16:02 and here: 27:37. On the flipside, I've noticed that Jimmys DD2 SS2+P,P now juggles and enemy! :) YES! More combo potential! I didn't even ask for this lol. Super excited about that. Oh and one last thing, I know you were playing as Jimmy this time and not once did you ever use the DD1+3 SS1+K move. Hmmm, makes me wonder. ;)
    After watching this from beginning to end and seeing that this one mission is going to take an hour to beat, I truly TRULY hope you consider giving the player 10 continues for this game. I mean I don't know if you two were playing seriously but you both had only 3 continues left by the end of the video and you had not even fought Duke yet, so yeah, 10 continues please.
    Lastly, I hope you can add a few more weapons to the sections. I mean I know they shouldn't be placed at the beginning or next to Duke or anything like that but maybe, the Nunchuck in the dungeon, or the Bo Staff on the elevator. Something to spice it up here and there.
    Your doing incredible things with this game man, keep it up. I'm looking forward to a Coliseum playthough! Oh yeah, Christmas is coming soon. I hope Santa brings you something nice. ;)

      Ok finally I have some time to answer all of this:
      -Shorter dizzy time for reular enemies is going to stay.
      -New colors for the harder version of the enemies are finalized. In fact, they will appear here and there between the previous stages in order to prepare the player for what's ahead in the game, and also they will keep those alter colors in order for the player to specifically identify them when they see them in enemy groups.
      -The paintings are modifyied versions from the instruction booklet, yes!
      -Duke's jingle is from SNES Prince of Persia, whenever a main boss shows up (remember that most of other games references have a reason to be in the game...)
      -We really liked the death SFX with my brother actually. He is brutal, but simplistic at the same time, I can't explain myself with how he turned out but, in short, he's just Doom Eterenal's Marauder enemy, specially for the blinking eyes.
      -Alter color for bosses in the final chambers, yes.
      -Enemy groups in this route are not finalized.
      -Duke's spawn animation is inspired by this: ua-cam.com/video/p1Ivxnpbd5Y/v-deo.html
      -Defensive abilities for the Dragons actually have been the same since LOTDD, and IDK if someone has noticed but some of the moves that can cancel the Block animation have Armor properties actually, but I guess it's easier to just grab & back throw enemies for clearing the room, duh.
      -IDK about the amount of continues, but I have said that enemy groups will change from Mission 1 to 6 in the final version making it less repetitive.
      -There will be more weapons, yes, i'm focusing now in showcasing the new stages + kickass music from Krauser and my brother, surprise elements.
      I'm surprised you didn't say a thing about Metroid Prime SFX going on in the 2nd section of the cave though. You can see there is stuff to do there in that specific route & mode, because the SNES mode won't have that arrow pointing the elevator button, the stage will just end like it normally does.

      The Chin Taimei death sound isn't a big deal, its fine. Everything else I'll find a way to get use to it.
      I guess Jick/Mibobo will be the only enemy that is a Mission boss and a Sub-boss at the same time. Strange, but I will roll with it. I don't think he should be green forever though.
      I was hoping for 10 continues based on how difficult the 0.3 demo was, but now that you've said you will shorten enemy groups I can see getting through the game a little easier.
      I did know that the SDD spinning backfist and jumping roundhouse as well as the DD1+3 hyper throw and back elbow have armor hahaha. I will make a note of that when I start making some tutorial videos in the future.
      I didn't say anything about the Metroid FX cuz' you already told me about them earlier lol. I am wondering at what part of the wall I'm supposed to attack though...XD
      Thanks for the links and answers to other questions about Duke and the paintings. I knew I was right! :)
      Oh and please don't say the M7 alter colors are finalized just yet! ;) wait till I've show you what I've made. Your gonna love it man I swear! I will have it ready before the end of the year. I have some very uhh... HOT things to show you heh heh.
      Thank you again for giving the Mission bosses alter colors at the final battle. I was wondering when you were going to use that cool Carlem with the blue jacket, white pants and brown boots lol. It looks really nice there.

    Wow ur doing a phenomenal job I think you should talk to somebody in the industry and get this game ported to all the major game systems because this is the next chapter of dd in my opinion

    It would be interesting to see a remake of the stages from the previous Double Dragons. Like at the end when you beat Duke, you show us a snapshot of the Dragons' previous adventures: the last boss from DD1, the last boss from DD2 , and finally the 3 mummies from DD3. It would probably make the game longer if you add all those stages, but it would be cool to see a more modern rendering of them. What would it be like to fight the ninjas from Japan from DD3? And Ranzou? Chin from China? I wonder how difficult would possessed Marion be?

      The best thing you need to do is download WinZip for your computer or laptop. Its free and doesnt take up any or barely no disk space. Once you do that, right click on the download game and go to the Extract files. Select Desktop to extract the files and from there you can play the game.

    Wow! Duke’s palace is way more awesome than the original. And to think, there’s two alternate routes too. I do have a question though. Now that we’ve got the shirtless Chin twins, who are the bosses from stage 3 then? I thought the stage 3 bosses were supposed to be the Chin brothers.

      @@mauherrera8939 Exactly. The only sad thing, that as I understand, it's possible to make this OTG combos only on simple hooligans, from Super DD, but bigger and more stronger enemies can evade this combos, because there are pauses between hits, in the sequences.
