    It is a Sunbeam Acrylic case. It's the blue UV version. The blue tint is Ultra Violet reactive agent in the acrylic that glows with black light CCFL fans. My case had 80mm luminous UV orange fans with UV CCFL rings. Also had clear acrylic rods with black UV ccfl lights to activate the glow of acrylic and all the fluorescent accessories. All the fans had chrome nuclear radiation symbol covers. It all came from Sunbeam. Still my favourite case of all time. I built many systems in that case. I almost got one of those cases many years ago. I will say what kept me from doing it is the hardship of maintaining the full Acrylic body. A side panel can be replaced, but anything else would require an entire replacement of the case. You also can't fully tighten up anything that screws into the Acrylic because the Acrylic may crack. It truly is a nightmare.

  • @ArtanisG.

    It's a SunBeamTech case. They went out of business. The acrylic cases used to be sold in pieces, so the end-user would have to put it together. I still own a SunBeamTech mid-tower dating back from 2007, with those 3 gauges positioned in the bottom left corner in the front.

    That's a throwback moment. About the same time I started TEC and phase-change cooling my P4 HT 520. 😎

    Bro I’m so glad you found this case, I remember back when I was a young kid I was with my dad while he was doing jobs (he’s a service tech) and one customer I remembered throughout the years is this one guy who showed us the computer he built, may or may not have what inspired me to get into pc building but that’s a different story lmao. But it was in this exact case and he was pointing out to me what parts were what and what they did, I just remember being about maybe 7 or 8 years old just staring at it, it was lit up with blue LED’s, all the fans had like a holographic tape on them so they were reflecting like a little light show. he showed us the OG Starcraft and a few other games I can’t remember what they were . I also remember my dad in the van on the ride home saying “I know what you’re thinking, the answer is no.” Oh how that changed just a few years later lmao.

    I have this case, found it for like $65 around an hour trip from my house with random components in it that the lady did not know about, turned into a LGA socket 775 of course with decent PSU and some original RGB "bar/pole" type of RGB lights.... Case fans inside clear, no rgb.... was a 8 gb with core 2 duo 8400 or so.... Whenever the MObo has the big PINK connector on the rear I/O I sort of "give-up" on it even though it was a nice board for its time as in asus with golden colored heat-sinks with blue accents.... It did run once I re-plugged in the 8 pin PSU connector that had come undone, used it for few hours for fun and checking drive for "fun" like most tinkerers would but then I somehow did what I always do and took it all apart where it still sits in the pile of PC parts I have, fully apart, LOL.... Does it work now? Unsure.... The case has zero cable management obviously but I thought was sort of cool also and beings I got a big POLK audio "sound bar" I use to this day (using it now) as my main sound bar via spdif even though it has bluetooth, that was thrown in with tons of stuff like a GTX 470 by EVGA as well as monster cables (HDMi) and such so even without the PC itself it was worth ther $60/%65 asking price for the lot of stuff, printer too that worked and I gave away however, makes me want to toss this one back together..... Good job man! ..... I love "surprise older custom pc's sold by people who are honestly unsure what it is or ifit works anymore" and this is exactly how I acquired this particular case.... I have like 3 Antec PXX cases as well, man they are built like tanks, also a very cool in original shape Antec Super Lan Boy case with the original snap on carrying strap (Gave this to my son for his x79 gaming rig with overclocked 1650 v0 xeon overclocked to 4.8 or so ghz) I dare anyone to try to find one of those available, anywhere! Even antec does not have them, I should have KEPT this PC together as it was actually from a company and out of a magazine but did not realize until later however I did realize and keep the case in PERFECT SHAPE but again, gave the strap to my son because it fit over his silver stone FT05-S case which is my fave case ever built BTW hence it all came from me, to him to upgrade his x58 as I moved onto x99, he took the x79 and we will do it again and he will end up with a 40 or 20 core xeon on the 14nm broad-well with some very nice components and ram as well as cooler around 2024... I wonder if we will ever catch up to intels enthusiast platform. HAHA... It is FUN though.... The case is in the mail now as in a white Corsair icue 5000x I settled on over the bit older mirror 570x by corsair as I just really like the white and grey even though I do not like any plastic on my cases the little bit on the 5000 airflow and 5000x is not so bad compared to the typical and this is a higher end case of course..... I LOVED the pattern on the 5000 airflow by corsair, it reminds me of the old radiators and such, absolutely brilliant but I shall see when it gets here and I build the x99 system in it, need my huge AIO still and to choose a chip[, everything else is here including the white corsair 850 gold rated rmx psu NiB .... I want the NXT AiO Cooler that has three BLACK fans and reads out the temp on the dial to go with the case and again, either 10 to 20 cores on one of these broad-well xeons just a shame none are unlocked so still debating whether 6900k, 6950x or maybe even 5960x as seem to be a bargain, at least the 59 series.... Suggestions? ....

    @MJ-uk6lu 3 роки тому

    The problems you are facing with finding who made that case is probably down to the fact that many people actually made their own acrylic cases as acryl is easy to work with. In Athlon 64/Pentium 4 era people build those, put some cold cathodes, added front displays, some fancy fan grilles, UV stuff (often DFI LanParty boards), rubber pipes for cable management (water cooling was tad too exotic at the time). If you have nothing to do, maybe you could design your own acrylic case and make it with decent modern internals.

    I think that if you would take some rough sandpaper( something like 40/60/80 grit) to it and make translucent instead of clear it would look even better because it would diffuse the light from the LED strips through all of the case.
