Is it just you or do you have someone else in the boat on this run? I'm looking for a similar setup for just me and my Dad. He's too old can't handle a canoe anymore, but I really want to find an affordable way to get him fishing on the river with me again. It's crazy how expensive these river boats can get quick, but I guess they are built to take a beating.

That looks like a really fun river to run. Lots of sand bars, clear water and a few logs to dodge.
Do you put a special coating on the bottom of the boat?

How do you balance yourself and batteries and gas tank on your boat? Where are you sitting on the boat?
Do you have to have a tunnel hull to have a jet prop? I have a 16ft Alumacracft Jon boat..not a tunnel though. Could I put a jet on it?
Jawbone Live no just a flat bottom boat, your transom may need built up some the bottom of the foot should be fairly close to the bottom of the boat.

I have a Lowe 1448M with a 2019 25hp Mercury Jet. I can run about 23mph empty with just me in the boat. 2 people with gear is around 17-20mph
This boat must have a tunnel on the bottom for the pump intake?
It’s a homemade 3” tunnel.
