I love these videos even if I have no plans of breeding or even keeping more than the one corn I already have! More deep dives about histories! 🎉

Good I'm glad! The history is something I'm really interested in also!

I think you are right. Now we get to start the argument that strawberry and hypo are or are not the same morph, just like how the ball python people debate over banana and coralglow being the same morph or not

I think strawberry and Hypo-A are different personally. However, I don't think Christmas is real lol

Thank you so much for these videos. Its so endlessly helpful. I have two possible red coat snakes, and one red factor. Ive got some bloodreds recently too and thats always fun figuring out... are they an oldschool bloodred? masque diffused rf? masque diffused rc? no masque just diffused rf/rc? I wish i could say i could ask the breeders! I think a lot of folks dont really know!

I did a whole video like this one bloodreds too! Through context we can deduce for sure that the person who originally produced blood reds intended for that name to specifically be for RED snakes that were diffused. He recognized that a diffused could exist without the red, and they speculated back then that there was some form of dominant red mutation. They just didn't have a name for it yet. So it appears that old school bloodreds did, in fact, include Coral/red factor. Masque is a whole other thing lol

Can someone explain what a "Red Coral Albino" is? Is that just a Albino Coral/Coral Albino and Red in there for nothing or does the Red mean something else? Any help much appreciated!

They aren't using correct terminology. Probably they mean an Amelanistic+ Red Factor

@@SarahsSnakeShop That's what I thought. Thank you! It's kinda sad/annoying when bigger sellers do this. I just asked someone who was selling a Salmon Snow if they were referring to Red Factor when using the term Salmon because I want to make sure people know what they are selling and the seller told me that Red Factor is different than Salmon... so I didn't purchase or feel like arguing haha. I see it happen so much with the Salmon/Coral.
