Seven years ago, I became a fan of SGS so I could watch Jesse having fun with his friends. I stayed for the gaming, but mostly for the improvised songs and high quality covers.

Check out Condemned: Criminal Origins if you want another game. It’s crazy. It’s a melee based game where you’re a detective. Punching stuff in the face for Jirard and Davis and the crazy, nonsensical detective stuff for Alex and Jesse. There’s even a weird sequel.

It's based on Swedish folk tales, which means trolls, evil spirits and one naked guy that plays violin in the middle of a lake.

It may not be seen at all by the SGS members but i just wanna say SGS is a big reason i still keep on going, life isn't the best but you guys just know how to put smiles on all of our faces, keep it up

@@danfinch3219 Thank you so much guys i appreciate it as i don't really have a lot of human interaction :c mainly due to autism and anxiety, but that's why i love these videos so much, been watching them since the early Slenderman days and over the last 6 years or so whenever things have gotten bad or "dark" for me SGS and SuperBestFriends horror game series are just like a safe space for me, i just don't have these kind of friends where i can geek out about horror games feelsbad.
Play the latest Dread X Collection! They were the best!
Collection 3 was certainly the highest consistent quality of the bunch but The Hunt was pretty middling in my opinion. I would still love to see SGS play either of them though, not sure why they haven't.
Seconded; the last two collections were perfect SGS material.

I think the Crendor selects would have been more fun with Crendor here or even discord called in. it just feels like something was missing these past few episodes, I still kinda enjoyed it tho.
I would love for them to go back to Visage now that it's done. Been waiting a bit for that.
i think the reason they'll never do this is because they played chapter 2 at coxcon and jesse never uploaded the vod so it's just gone forever :(
theres still a lot out there you could try Inside, condemned series, the Medium & maybe Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice for when the sequel releases.

Its like you all know 1 part of the starwars song! ITS THE SAME SONG!! You are all just at a different place in it and its both fascinating and terrifying by equal measures!!
But one is dueling fates from ep1, and the other is the canyon run song from ep 4.
There were people doing different parts of TIE Fighter Attack, but they kept slipping into Duel of the Fates as well.
Since they're doing a multiplayer game, I'd LOVE to see how they would react to Sign of Silence.
So, I literally just got cast out by an entire ministry I was volunteering for because I texted someone (that I thought was my friend) how I was thinking of leaving to go help other people and she told the pastor. The pastor, without even bothering to speak to me (not answering my texts or calls) has my supposed friend text me I'm not allowed to volunteer anymore 🙃. Thank you for making my day better SGS, today was shit.

The worst part of this video was none of them getting what Star Wars song Alex is talking about because Duel of the Fates has fully poisoned them.
MAGFest Colossus Roar: During a MAGFest at the Hilton Mark Center (Alexandria), the arcade games were on the bottom floor in the hallways. One of these games was the X-Men arcade game, and the roar could be heard throughout a lot of the convention space. Who started the roar after that, I don't know, but it spread to subsequent cons. There are signs posted outside the MAGFest specific areas in the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor (current location for Super MAGFest) for "No Colossus Roar beyond this point".
It's so iconic that even Nobuo Uematsu roared during the Earthbound Papas concert at MAGFest X (ua-cam.com/video/iBYjlggRLPE/v-deo.html)
You guys could beat The Forest in 8ish hours if you focused on story instead of the survival crafting aspect. Might be an interesting playthrough.

Literally every time the upgrade screen comes up there's a giant fucking icon that says "RUNNING JUMP CHARGE" and Alex is just constantly like "I can't believe I can't charge my jump while running"

I love SGS, but with horrible games, I can't finish watching these videos. This is supposed to be the Scary Game Squad, not the Shitty Game Squad.
I really hope the multiplayer option turns out to be a 'Dead by Daylight' mod with a Chupacabra and 4 goats.

Idk if it's just me but lately I've been having a hard time watching these. I want to say it's more so the talking over. Like someone says something pertaining to the game but the other two drown out that with a discussion about cheese balls. It makes me feel like I'm watching a movie from a bootlegger who filmed his brothers tv screen during a unrelated family get together.
tbf sgs always does a mst3k thing when they play bad games. when the game is good/interesting they're much more invested and go on less random tangents. also depends on how drunk/stoned they are lol
