My RS36 CLICK just like yours. It drives me crazy. Must the the flat slides. From what I know you have to adjust the vacuum perfectly for them to stop clicking. Power and response is great though.
Thats just normal flatslide sound ... they always click, some people love it some hate it. When the carbs are old and a little worn the clicking sound gets louder because the slides have more play. You cant get around this. If you want to get rid of this sound you have to change to CV carbs or fuel injection.
@@traxx2k722 Good synchronization/correct valve lash will reduce the clacking/clicking to almost nothing at idle. That's true for RS, FCR and TMR carbs.
What's it like on fuel? I ran my 750 for a bit on stock vm29's without a filter and coz of the jetting etc it was so dam thirsty. I put the filter back on to save money.

Flatslides sound good. I have a set of lectrons 40mm. They are amazing also. All go....lol
reminds me i need to change that old problematic bsr36 CVs on my bandit 12 with a proper flatslide mikuni rs36

FCRで良くその話題になりますが‥同調を完璧に取ってリップシールも新品に交換してもある程度スライドバルブはカチャカチャ言います。完璧に同調調整されたJB ビトーさんの新品でも鳴ります。
私は好きな音なので全然気になりません。むしろ好きな音です。
