I am 40 yrs old now and have owned 3 gsxr bikes. My first street bike ever was my 86 gsxr red n black 750, wish I still had that bike. My second was the 96 gsxr blue n white 750 which was also a wonderful bike. My gsxr I own now is my 2004 gsxr 1000 blue n white I completely love and hope to keep it forever. I hope to see suzuki develop something new soon with equal technology and engineering to kawasaki ' s h2k supercharged bike. If it does happen I pray I can afford it due to this nasty economy United States is in. Im really anxious to see its development and can't wait. Had a 96 750 srad, kept it for 10 years before kids come along. 10 year gap then just bought a 1000 just to say i had one but then fell in love with GB spec 25th anniversary 750 ( 1 of only 25)and bought one. Need to sell the 1000 soon and get a 750 track bike as they all are far too fast for the roads.

I've had 3 an 04 750 "my first gixxer" an 02 busa big bore drag bike and currently have a 98 600 that is built and can run with liters! impatiently waiting for the new 1000R. I can't wait to unwrap a BRAND new gixxer and ride it home from the dealership.
