Tired of not flying due to strong gusty winds, I decided to review and practice my ground handling techniques. I have to agree with other comments posted, Straight to the point no nonsense instructional video for all pilots, whether beginning or used as a refresher. Much appreciated thanks.
These are awesome refreshers for me. I finished my training just over a year ago but, due to a back injury, was unable to fly until recently. Jumping back into the sport, these videos are great review so I don't miss something I have forgotten over the last year. I just started kiting the wing again in practice before attempting flight. Safety first. The B-line tip for high winds was new to me. I trained on a dry lake bed in the high desert of Nevada where the winds were steady and moderate. I live in Florida where a gentile breeze can become a strong gust in seconds. Thanks for your videos!!
Dude, you are an awesome teacher! I just turned 50 and I have never had the chance to get into paramotor training/flying. I feel this is a turning point in my life. I need this in my life badly🪂 once I realize one of my many disruptive innovations I will be able to afford this life long dream. I even have an innovative idea worked out to improve safety and maximize enjoyment for the paramotor sport. I subscribed to your channel and will start binging your lessons👍 thanks for uploading them🙏
I like the B line tip at the end! The best advise in high winds is avoid using brakes. Body movement wing control is much better in that situation. Too much brakes in high winds will lift you off your feet! I learned the hard way!
I've been looking to learn paramotoring tips before I take my training class, just so I'm not overwhelmed during training. Indeed a great instructor, nice recap at the end.
The reverse launch: Grip, flip and clip! I'm about 3 to 4 days into my paramotor course. Always good to see stuff like this. You really have to fight your instincts when the lines are crossed for reverse launch. Left becomes right and vice versa!
Very good instructions 👌. I have just passed my theory exam qcm and practical in france. My instructor is very good but this instructor is top dog very calm and very clear 👌
Phenomenal! I am only just recently decidedly very interested in PPG. Watching your technique here is very informative. I'm not sure when I'll be able to afford to get into the sport with training first. This demystifies some of the technique that looks a bit magical when you don't understand it. Thank you for making this video!
Im 31, Ive been through a lot of depression and anxiety over the years. Im in 7k debt, but my overall mission is to push through all this and get myself on one of these courses. Its amazing!
as been trying to get ground handling harness as i find schools trying to sell me harness $700-$800 why? i find as student there always trying to take advantage’ so were can i get reasonably cheap harness for ground handling ??
Thank you as I am trying to figure out a wing to start kiting. They sell those 14m to practice, but It wouldn't give me the real senario other than playing with the lines. I have a pretty good sense of the lines from all of the ground handling videos out there, but you really can not load the wing as they are too small. Maybe my kid could. Thanks again, cheers
I got taught all these methods, but prefer to raise the wing with an a riser in each hand , this enables more control and the ability to steer the wing up . Your opinions on this practice 🤔🤔
You can indeed have more control bringing the wing up but without the Cs or Ds you don’t have the same amount of control to bring the wing down or from side to side
This was a great video! I personally like to have my risers flipped to the right but thats just preference. You covered a lot of points but i you missed the importance of always trying to walk backwards even if its slightly so you keep the glider loaded! But other then that great video!
One of the best tips training videos available ... great instructor ...
Yes yes thanks from Germany
Thanks for providing the B line tip to keep the wing disabled in high winds I plan to add that to my bag of tricks.
I’ve watched a lot of “instructional” paramotor videos, this is the first channel I’ve subscribed to after watching.
Well done . Covered a lot without self promoting . How refreshing !

thank you for these great videos
That was great! What harness do you recommend for ground handling?
good tip with 1 loop of the B lines to keep it from inflating while gathering it up
Great vid! May I ask what size wing is That?
It's an Ozone Mojo Pwr 22m
About how much wind is in this video? Usually I cant be stopped without the wing to stall and fall back
About 15kph
as been trying to get ground handling harness as i find schools trying to sell me harness $700-$800 why? i find as student there always trying to take advantage’ so were can i get reasonably cheap harness for ground handling ??
Excellent
Very informative, thank you. What size wing are you working with in this video?
Ozone Mojo PWR 22m

Very useful!!! Thank you! 👍😎
That was great advice I like it 👏
I used to get really made when I would concertina and the thing would inflate lol. I'll have to try this B bight method.
Hey it worked like a champ! I carried the wing around in 20mph gusts and it didn't do a thing!
Great video.

Hi Alex, when will you have your 2020 course dates available?
Thanks Tom
Great job
Now I just need a wing to practice this with. I kitesurf so wing/kite handling is similar since they both are flying wings.
Brilliant 👍 - thank you
Thank you - Great INTEL
nice one easy to absorb.
Amaziing. Thank You!
This was a great video! I personally like to have my risers flipped to the right but thats just preference. You covered a lot of points but i you missed the importance of always trying to walk backwards even if its slightly so you keep the glider loaded! But other then that great video!
He mentioned always moving upwind.
Great instruction
