    Kyle, you have a remarkable ability to explain and demonstrate in a way that idiots like me can fully grasp, brilliant video. You've just produced probably the best vid on ground handling that I've seen. There are hours of videos on youtube by the person who shall remain nameless that try to do what you just did in 20 minutes.

    I'm sure I don't need to reiterate what everyone else is saying, but I will anyways. Your ability to teach and be entertaining at the same time is what draws me in. I watch a fair amount of people on YT, across all different types of videos, and you are the ONLY one my wife loves to watch with me. Your rambling, tangents, and overall nonsense in addition to your sharing of experiences and opinions are fantastic content. I'm a long ways away in California, but we both hope to meet you one day and do some flying! We will always enjoy your videos, no matter what you're doing or talking about. Flying is a plus, but we watch you, for YOU. Much love Kyle, keep on keepin' on!

    Kyle you have a brilliant teaching ability because your intelligent, you understand the mechanics of flight especially the wing.
    You have no ego, your funny and happy to laugh at yourself.
    There are very few instructors world wide that have all the attributes required to be a great instructor and very likeable person in general.

    Listen to kyle O! He speaks truth! 99% of ppg pilots dont kite enough and it's so obvious when they try. They pay for it in blown launches. If you want to be good, you have to kite as much as you fly.

    Firstly brother, I love your videos... this one in particular, you mentioned how we paraglider/motor enthusiasts are hanging under a cloth wing and by a bunch of strings, no less..puppeteers of the air. I laughed when I heard you say that because I've thought about that a thousand times.. except I see us as the puppet and someone much greater than we are is pulling the strings... Take care brother and God Bless!

    Coming from a kitesurfing background where you have a quick release , to carabiner yourself to a paraglider is a huge difference .
    You have to control it as you cant get rid of it that easily. Pretty intense on a windy day.
    Knowing how to kill that wing is a must and gives you confidence if and when the wind picks up and you need to land.

    Just like kitesurfing, get a cheap kite and learn to fly it on the beach. Understand the wind, gusts , the wind window. How to kill the kite if it's too strong etc ...... then get into the water.
    Prob biggest problem in paramotoring is lack of ground practice.
    My biggest concern in flying is the wind picking up and knowing you have to land in it.
    Another "great content " vid 🤟

      What is everyone's hatred for Dale about? I learned from him and I had a good experience. I felt it was worth my time and effort, learned a lot, and feel like I have the skills to keep myself safe. Is it because people can't see the confidence he has and interprets it as arrogance? I'm genuinely curious...

    • @TheSkyHive
      @TheSkyHive 3 роки тому

      @@jericbean2821 I would say hatred is a bit harsh. We dont hate him, we just dislike him very much. We don't doubt he has skill either....he probably pumps out a bunch of good pilots too! Are you aware that he calls ALL OTHER BRANDS,other than his of course, DEATHTRAPS! he goes on to say that other teachers are not adequate...he actually goes beyond that claim. He says this about premiere bespoke paramotor training schools. He also claims that he is a "champion" in the sport. The events he won were events HE PUT ON, plus he failed to invite people to the events. He tries to ruin people's businesses every time he creates content! He claims " If its not a F*$#op (his brand) it will end up killing you because its not up to standards(even though the equipment in question surpasses standards in safety). I just think their are sports that work GREAT WITH EGO, like boxing,mma,basketball,football,etc....BUT PARAMOTOR ISN'T ONE OF THEM! If their was ever a sport that benefited from keeping EGO in check, its this one! I am glad you had a good experience. If he would just stop making claims he cannot backup, that would be a start. I can count on both hands the people that I have heard ,that arent students, claim he is a good guy. You can tell he loves what he does. He is skilled too, but people dont like you trying to steal business from them by claiming the only safe gear is his gear.

    • @jericbean2821
      @jericbean2821 3 роки тому

      @@TheSkyHive OK. I can get behind most of that and can understand your reasoning especially on the business side. I'm sure those "deathtrap" comments turn off some people, and perhaps scare others into choosing him also. Its the "show me where I'm wrong" side of the argument that gets to me. maybe I'm not looking in the right place but I haven't found anyone disputing him. Normally with his level of patronizing you'd get counter responses and all I've found is ridicule about attitude, not counters to his claims. I'm speaking of the equipment of course and not the claims about being the best. I glance past that kind of ego with most people I meet, but that's just me ignoring their pride. I want to be safe and if there's something out there that's more safe I'd go after that. I also don't want to be shunned in the community I'm entering simply because I chose a specific set of equipment. It's Ford Vs Chevy just in aviation. Ill now have a beacon that says I got something from a specific person that many dislike which doesn't bother me cause it is what it is and mostly opinion. I'm sure most aren't like that and I look forward to meeting them, but I bet some are and that's disappointing. Thanks for explaining though. I hadn't considered most of what you said.

    • @TheSkyHive
      @TheSkyHive 3 роки тому

      @@jericbean2821 I appreciate you hearing what i had to say. No paramotor equipment is "perfect" because each person wants something different. I am not sure how much research you have done on other equipment, but for the most part, all of the equipment is "safe" if you dont modify it or go beyond what the manufacturer claims it can do. Now, their are companies that are taking the "next leap". The one that comes to mind in that regard is "Gravity Paramotor". I don't have enough experience to be able to back this up, but Kylo Glee, the dude that makes this video has done many videos on the differences in gear.

    • @TheSkyHive
      @TheSkyHive 3 роки тому

      @@jericbean2821 As you could imagine, Paramotor people are pretty open-minded bunch. No-one will begrudge you the gear or trainer you choose unless its a "instructor" who is ripping people off. I have never said anyone say that about DALE, not at all....I have never heard anyone say his training is bad either....the only thing that has turned most gainst him is how he shits on other schools and equipment brands just to boost his own sales. I have not seen one person claim his gear or instruction is bad.....in any other industry he could probably get away with shitting on other manufacturers etc, but the PARAMOTOR community is relatively small....for now....GOOD TO MEET YOU BROTHER!
