Once frames are removed, do you close the top of the boxes back up to leave the bees inside? Also, after honey its extracted and before the frames go back in, is everything scraped and washed off them or do they just go back how they are after the extraction? Thanks for the video
You can use a fuming board and put Honey-B-Gone (NOT Bee Gone!) on it, then leave it on the hive for 3 minutes or so. The bees don't like the smell and they are driven downward. You end up with a super with no bees in it.
