LYRICS
I see the sun begin to rise
And I'm blinded too
I've seen the world through jaded eyes
That I'm crying through
I watch the darkness hypnotize
And can't fight it
Hold On I'm falling
Can't breathe anymore
As an ocean has opened
These scars need to heal over
Caress the needle prick in my eye
The tears fell like rain
I've rode the phoenix as she glides
And I've gone insane
I've seen the light of suicide
And I'm dying
Hold on, I'm falling
Can't breathe anymore
As an ocean has opened
These scars need to heal over
Hold on I'm falling, can't breathe... breathe...
Colder and colder
Just hold onto me
This song has actually carried me through some dark dark times. One of the most important tracks of my life
Legendary metal brothers and sisters listen up 😊
I like how they posted the lyrics to the wrong song

the drum intro is just fucking perfect
I always thought this sounded like old Machine Head LIVE... hearing it on the album didn't sound like early machine head at all. I'm glad they carried their older ''tone'' onto the stage to fit in with all their earlier stuff. Great song, great video, especially at 3:42 that's some real head banging shit I will always get behind. That rivals Slayer - Rain in Blood. Fucking amazing live performance. The tone on all corners! the guitar tone is early Machine Head, the tone of the drums especially the bass drums is early Machine Head.
Once that double bass kicks in you can head bang until your forehead collides with the floor. Fucking amazing, I hope to see you guy's live again someday.
I don't care what anyone says, the Burning Red is one of MH's best albums, up there with Burn My Eyes, The Blackening and Unto The Locust.
la porte smart man (or woman idk)
Up there with BME, The Blackening and TTAOE I think you mean. Locust was meh.
I agree...
I completely agree on the Burning Red. It gets bad rap for some reason. The album destroys ever single time!
I think my two favorite MH albums have some variant of the word “Burn” in the album title
I'll never forget the day I was practicing drums in my room when I was 14and my buddy knocked at my door and said "That was the blood, the sweat the tears, that sounded great,"
Epic Powerful Voices & Masterpiece Songs Forever Guyz.
The blood, the sweat, the beers...! And cheers MH! \m/

"The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears"
Oh yes i walk the path, that righteous
Many men have walked before
In this pain cell
The broken shell
Straight shackled onto the floor
So welcome to the world
That i lived in
Puking up bile and hate
My world entered
A false enclosure
Sickening broken state
But then I see
These things in me
That make me want it
More than you
Want to deny your flesh
Cause pain's my wish
Get wasted on self destruct
So hold on to the end
It's all about
The blood, the sweat, the tears
Attribute to the strength
Built through the years
[2X]
Yes i walk the path
That gives me
Confidence strong and pure
Now i realize
That freedom rises
From confronting the source
I built these walls around me
And i can break them all away
And I'll focus all the strength
I call unstoppable energy
So hold on to the end
It's all about
The blood, the sweat, the tears
Attribute to the strength
Built through the years
[2X]
Hold on
I'm falling
I'm falling down again too
It's all about
The blood, the sweat, the tears
Attribute to the strength
Built through the years
I've been there
Cause I once hit a wall
Cause I once hit a wall
Cause I once hit a wall
Thanks for the attempt... this is mine... I am not saying I do the whole song and I may be wrong.
Oh yes i walk the path, that righteous
Many men have walked before
And this pain's held
A broken shell
Straight shackled onto the floor
So welcome to the world
That i lived in
Puking up bile and hate
My world had turned to
False inclusion
Sickening broken state
But then I see
These things in me
That make me want this
More than you
But I deny all this
Cause pain's my bliss
Get wasted on self destruct
So hold on to the edge
It's all about
The blood, the sweat, the tears
Attribute to the strength
Built through the years
2x
Yes i walk the path
That gives me
Confidence strong and pure
Now i realize
That freedom rises
From confronting the source
I built these walls around me
And i can break them all away
And I'll focus on the strength
I call unstoppable energy
So hold on to the edge
It's all about
The blood, the sweat, the tears
Attribute to the strength
Built through the years
[2X]
I take this
And focus
Create this
To take
Hold on
I'm falling
I'm falling down again into
It's all about
The blood, the sweat, the tears
Attribute to the strength
Built through the years
(X2)
I've been there
Cause time will sear the wound (3x)
You don't need to be a Machine Head fan or even a metal listener to rock the fuck out to that intro riff.
Saw them live in France 15 years ago and they still sound amazing.
The Blood, The Sweat THE BEEEERS!
MACHINE FUCKING HEAD!!!!! **HEADBANGING**
Such a blessing snare...
First song I ever heard by them. Rocked my damn socks off. Epic groove. Love it.
Once upon a time when mosh-pits were awesome and concerts kicked ass!
I love this song
This is badass band
@machinehead when i first heard this song, i thought the lyrics were "the blood. the sweat the tea" thinking this was a homage to the dumping of the tea in boston, now a days i know that isn't the lyrics but it still makes me smile :)
I love the intro and chorus!
Mi grupo favorito no me canso de escucharla me encanta brutal 🎧🎵🎵🎵

My fellow U.S. Marine stole the lead singers mic at the end of the show :-D We felt so bad afterwards, and so happy, We went and bought like 3 copies of every album

I myself could have sworn he said "piss"
🔥MH🔥most high 🤘
I can feel the early 2000s oozing out of this - Demmell with short hair and an Aikman jersey say a lot lol
The song came out in 1999
The 90s were better because at least there was no shitty one hit wonders ,rappers rapping about fucking bitches and hoes also no Linkin park and shitty Pop punk.
@@mynameisnotbob6369 true, but this live album and video came out in 2002 I believe
This is from the burning red. Where is the shitstorm? They just changed outfit and everybody is like "wow, metal, wow", but when they wear tracksuits and paint hair yellow "nope, this isn't metal".
The burning red was not as bad as supercharger, that being said, it's not about the clothes. If you really can't see the difference in power and style between the first (2 if I remember correctly) albums and the following albums from BR and Supercharger, then you really have no idea why people dislike this MH era so much
check the shitstorm at "from this day official video". haha i love supercharger. maybe crushing around you is "whinny" but still good. "American high" is my favourite, lyrics are also some whinny but at the same time just badass. and this scratch... i like first four albums. first two was just badass, then two was "whinny-badass" (my facourite XD) and then next like "more metal but not as much badass" ;_;
I see the difference and there are 3 eras of MH. 1st Groove, 2nd Nu, 3rd Classic with groove elements.
And look what happenes when burning red songs are played live - crowd starts jumping, singing, just enjoys it the most :D
+milekhh I lost you midway hahaha. Are you saying that the albums after supercharger weren't badass?
well, it sounds "heavy metal" but not that much badass. just a little bit badass. BR and S-CH was more badass. Thats my opinion. And first two albums are the most badass. for me classic metal doesnt sound too badass, just "posed darkness" or rock sound.
+milekhh Hmm I differ a lot in that. Listen to aesthetics of hate, Wolves, Now I lay thee down... The way I see it, those are the very definition of badassery
After 25 years still i love Machine Head . To the and !!!!!!!!!!
saw them in Philly 97... they still kick ass!!
qi foda
geil
@HurricanEight It is indeed a great song but in this video i miss the: "prost fuckers prost" that Robb says before playing this song in Germany xD

The flying V was MADE FOR METAL!
agreed. love kerry kings BC rich V signature! that is a metal guitar!
Seeing as how it came out before metal was a thing, that seems unlikely.

MH kicks major major ass!!! Seen them twice and both times highly badass! They bring it brother INDEED
bet that gibson had some n shots lol ctfu lol remeber dime bash ohhh cheers guys
Saw them in India along with Megadeth. MH sounded wayyyy better than Megadeth on stage with their better sound, playing and stage acts.
This sounds a lot like Soulfly
+Jackie P Wrong
I'm a naive millennial because you're absolutely incorrect? Machine Head and Soulfly are two completely different sounds. If Soulfly sounded like Machine Head, they would be tolerable. They are not.
+Jackie P the evening with machine head had no warm ups and it lasted 3 hours with them on stage. 3 fukcing unbelievable angry high energy filled hours. if they really as you say ride everybodys dick they do it so well all those dicks must be covered in blood and sweat and piss by now lol anyway uracuntson lol
damn...3 hours playing! That is AWESOME! I've met a few fellow metalheads who say that Machine Head were the best live act they've ever seen.
The lyrics are wrong!!
Lmao yeah nah the burning red lyrics in the description don't match up with blood sweat and tears ones
Hi guys I am in a FB group called Machine Head Maniacs. Come and join others who share the same love for MH
Without Arhue luster its incomplete
