      @@tcelectronic He's right. You know your stuff. I just ordered my X2 today. (Late to the party but it's taken me over a decade to finally get a looper. Hoping I can get back into recording after a 20 year hiatus from the studio)

    I can't say this enough but the Ditto loopers needs a firmware update so it can recieve midi CC messages and sync to midi clock via the usb port! That would make it the perfect looper.

    • @tcelectronic

      +FlorisMusic I'll pass on the idea to the development guys. Can't promise anything though :)

      +TC Electronic if I want to use my ditto x2 on stage and feed in loops from a DAW for like big epic intros, am I able to achieve that with this pedal?

      @@florinstanzer5398 I have a Ditto X4, in which they included Midi IN and Thru ports. Very useful in my experimental hip hop group: I take time code from the guy who makes the live beats, and I can lay down ambience, and then do my usual funk stuff over it all.

    Great demo: I've had an X2 for months and didn't know about the backing/stored loop level adjust.

    I use with my synths and am having a difficult time... I want a continuous drone backing track but theres always a break when the loop repeats. Is that unavoidable?

    Good morning, you can connect in one of the inputs of theDitto x2 pedal, an output from the computer's audio interface?to send you drum loops for example. I have tried and if it recordsbut it is not heard through the speaker.Thank you.

    I enjoy the demos and the instructors are great, but the X2 is very confusing to me. There was very little instruction in the box mine came in. I'm hoping to find more on the youtube channel to help me master the pedal.

    Does anyone know of a looper that has all these function but offers even more felxibility with the filtering of the loop, effect etc.?
    I used Ableton (A Digital Audio Workstation) and want to be able to loop stuff quickly into it whilst keeping it interesting like in a live setting.

    My ditto looper died after only 20-30 uses. I used the correct power source but still isnt working. The music store I bought it from wont take it back. How do I get this fixed or replaced?

    hi can I loop different sounds from my amp as it has an effects switch ,delay ,wah,trem etc or will it only loop one sound...

  • @Aint1S
    @Aint1S 5 років тому

    I just got mine and within 30 minutes, it started doing delay with slapback effects incredibly slow...
    I didn't have my delay on at all nor in the loop. Why did that happen?

  • @M1ck1970

    Hey tc great demo just bought the ditto x2 pedal, where should I place the pedal in my signal chain?

    • @tcelectronic
      @tcelectronic  9 років тому +2

      +mickey_blue_eyes all depends on what you want to do. The most common place is to have it as the last thing in your chain, so the effects you apply before it become a recorded part of the loop as well. But you can also have it first in the chain, if you want to use your effects after it to manipulate the sound of the loop. Hope this answers your question :)

    Hi, cool demo! I have a question: If I use the pedal in a dual amp setup, is it possible to send the dry track to one amp and the loop to the other one? thanks

    • @tcelectronic
      @tcelectronic  8 років тому

      +xwigwango - You would need a splitter to do that. Our stereo pedals can't separate the dry and wet signal to different outputs.

    • @xwigwango
      @xwigwango 8 років тому

    Since I see no power supply cord connected to your Ditto X2, it would appear that you are using batteries to power it. Why won't my Ditto X2 work on batteries?
    Since I just bought it yesterday, if it's not going to work on battery power then it can go back to Amazon where I bought it from.

    I couldn't watch the video and I'll give you a tip about why and about why you're throwing away 30% of your possible viewers. I have ADHD. So do tons of other people. When you start with a long section about what you're going to do instead of doing it, it causes pain to us. In case you think I'm nuts, thing about why no television shows or movies or documentaries have long intros. They just start.
