01 - Composition

Hi everybody
For our first class you are going to need some plain paper
And something to draw on it. It can be anything.
So let’s start it
Today we are going to learn about COMPOSITION
That is the arrangement of elements of components in a given space.
The human eye has evolved to recognize shapes through a combination of anatomical and neural adaptations that enhance our ability to perceive and interpret visual information.
However, these elements have to bee arranged in a way for you to see them as a recognizable thing. It can be a material thing, but also be a feeling, an emotion.
Our exercise is going to be this:
On a plain pice of paper challenge yourself to add three shapes.
They can be any shapes and sizes, but only three.You are going to make 10 to 20 of these and will see them how you would arrange these shapes in a way that would convey better a message.
This is a very simple exercise, but it is fundamental for you to understand the importance of the arrangement of the elements in a given space.
Do it as many times as possible.as it is very important for us to move forward.

una buena composición es armoniosa y agradable a la vista. No tiene que ser hermoso, pero tiene que evocar alguna reacción emocional. por ejemplo, cuando todos los elementos estaban en una esquina del espacio, se crea un desequilibrio. del mismo modo que elementos demasiado pequeños en un espacio demasiado grande generan sensación de vacío
