But he was unfortunately never worthy of it, so all he could do was “push” it through space. He couldn’t wield it or bend it to his will, but he could push it through space since there was no up or down. 4. tho.... even if it /is/ Odin's magic, the Hammer does have a "conscience" of his own by now, as illustrated by the newest Thor run, where in issue #1 neither Thor NOR ODIN could lift it anymore. Also by picking Thor while he's picking the Hammer standards, Sue Storm's done it too.
They should have included: “But if u put the hammer in the elevator” “It’ll still go up” “Elevator is not worthy!” And them trying to pronounce mjolnir
@@maaw7648 I think a decisive Celestialsapian like Alien X would notice when his opponent tried to time travel away, and would follow that opponent. Especially given what the show has explained about the Sotobro effect. If they wanted to argue that Green Lantern is powerful enough to outright kill Alien X, then I might have listened (I don't think he is, but comics get crazy sometimes), but suggesting that GL can win just because he can time travel is ridiculous. I'm also not fond of the idea that GL's constructs out-speed the big bang (and hence the Omnitrix's fail safe) while Hal is controlling them, just because he could coordinate a search of the cosmos, where he probably wasn't actively controlling each probe. To paraphrase the Flash: The ring may work at the speed of light, but Hal can't think that fast. Tl;dr: The Ben 10 vs GL DB was BS.
I can't discuss about comics with my GF. She believes that World War Hulk would beat Thor and I believe the opposite. This is a kind of disagreement that can kill a relationship!!
Phil Hogue She isn't. Thor was usually seen to be holding back constantly. When he was revived, he easily wrecked Tony and stated he's done it while holding back. Sentry gave Hulk the fight of his life (up to that point). Thor is more powerful than that version of Sentry, since he fought that crazy Sentry from the Siege and put up one hell of a fight.
Except when it comes to hulk. Hulk got angry enough to pick up and then throw Thor's hammer right back at him. When someone unworthy picks up the hammer, you better not hold back, or you're dead. However, Thor was originally made to be stronger than hulk b/c the idea was the only thing stronger than a man was a god. In fights of Thor vs Hulk, they've had a few draws.
I think his point was they actually went into some funny depth of nerd/geek humor rather than just taking the shallowest and laziest examples possible. Like a lot of times their references sound like a writer with no clue about the subject just pulled the only example he could think of. This stuff sounds like an actual comic book fan wrote it.

+Joyce Tan Well it's been established in the first movie that Asgard has sexism, since thor said" who thought that a fair maiden could be one of the mightiest warriors in the realm" so his dad setting that little catch in there is pretty possible. Also it likely that a society that is like older cultures, then it is likely that there is sexism in the original spell. So yeah that could very well be the case.
It’s Odin’s enchantment, therefore Odin decides who can lift Mjolnir. Think of Mjolnir as a combination lock and worthiness as the combination as defined/decided by Odin. Odinson knows the combo because he is worthy, but when he is not, it is because Odin has changed the combination.
Captain America could lift Thor's hammer but Iron Man can't because even though they are both heroes, Odin wants a warrior who could righteously defend Asgard not a Thinker.
Odin did say if they be worthy therefore the Hammer which has Odin's magic and in a way his will decides who is worthy. Mjolnir and by extension Odin determined captain America as worthy. As for red Hulk I never read the comics so I can't offer much other than a quick look and see that since Thor had his hand on Mjolnir by extension someone could carry the hammer.
This pretty much nails it. Reminds me of every argument relating to comic books, sci-fi, horror and fantasy that I've ever participated in or observed. LOL

I just liked your comment because nerdy me saw Stephen King... and then I saw your pic and realized you’re prob not him 😂
At the expense of sounding like a total nerd.
1. Mjolnir is like 48lbs.
2. Thor is not the only one that can use it.
3. Yes. Red Hulk has done it.
4. It is Odin's magic, so it would be Odin's requirements. Even Thor had to pass several trials to even be given the hammer.
5. Red Hulk is kind of a dick.
Agreed
ONeilTD Didn't say I wasn't. :)
4. tho.... even if it /is/ Odin's magic, the Hammer does have a "conscience" of his own by now, as illustrated by the newest Thor run, where in issue #1 neither Thor NOR ODIN could lift it anymore.
Also by picking Thor while he's picking the Hammer standards, Sue Storm's done it too.
It is whoever the hammer seams worthy
undertakerfreak1011 *deams
Out of all the episodes, I wanted this to have a part two. This was too good 😂😩
I love the reactions from the guys with hearing them talk about comics 🤣👌 especially Leonard's disbelief and Howie's justification.
"The Transitive Property of Picking Things Up" LMAO!
Hard to argue with those kind of PHD smarts 😅
0:55 "Its like Sheldon and his toothbrush"
Raj: "Maybe I am worthy"
“Is space there is no up”
“then how does the sun go UP everyday”😂
Amy: in space, there is no up!
Penny: oh yeah? Well then, how does the sun come up, everyday!?
Amy: Can't argue with street smarts.
Love that part! 😃
They should have included:
“But if u put the hammer in the elevator”
“It’ll still go up”
“Elevator is not worthy!”
And them trying to pronounce mjolnir
Mhew-Mhew
This was before the movies came out
"There is no up in outer space"
"Oh yeah well how does the sun come up everyday?!"
"Hard to argue with those kinda street smarts"
And I'm having so many flashbacks right now about the many arguments I've gotten into over that Red Hulk fight it's not even funny.
TheOmnitron12345 so you were the Bernadotte in those situations? "You don't know his life" 😂😂
Time to start those arguments all over again buddy, if you know what I mean.... (obv you do, I'm assuming you've already watched Endgame)
What did you think of deathbattle Ben 10 vs Green Lantern
@@maaw7648
I think a decisive Celestialsapian like Alien X would notice when his opponent tried to time travel away, and would follow that opponent.
To paraphrase the Flash:
The ring may work at the speed of light, but Hal can't think that fast.
Tl;dr: The Ben 10 vs GL DB was BS.
@@ahlpym Yeah didn't like it they ignored massive things which clearly went in the favour of GL.
"You don't know his life!" Idk why that made me laugh so hard😂😂
"Hard to argue with those kinds of street smarts" damn Amy can be a real savage
Penny didn’t even realize Amy was calling her stupid at that moment.
I know they're mocking it, but this is exactly why I love comic books lol
They both are and aren't. They're more than likely making fun of the rabbit hole CB fans tend to fall into when it comes to discussing lore.
the show NEEDS more episodes with the girls arguing about comics. they raise interesting questions
As a female comic/superhero nerd, I found this episode hilarious. I wish there was more girl geek stuff like this in the show.
I can't discuss about comics with my GF.
She believes that World War Hulk would beat Thor and I believe the opposite.
This is a kind of disagreement that can kill a relationship!!
your gf is right tho
+Phil Hogue No. She's not....
Phil Hogue
She isn't.
You two are Childish and totally not real Life ready, If that is, what takes to turn your lifes over.
"You don't know his life!" 😂😂😂😂
Melissa nailed it!
This reminds me of the discussion in Age Of Ultron where Steve and Tony discuss if an elevator is worthy of the hammer is put inside and it goes up
The only time watching this show that I didn't feel insulted as a nerd.
Well they were referencing geeks here. People that are into comics are geeks not nerds.
Me too I’m a nerd/geek
But I still liked this show
@oshe cywhat happened?
Holy shit matt its been five yeaes how are you doing
I think his point was they actually went into some funny depth of nerd/geek humor rather than just taking the shallowest and laziest examples possible.
Like a lot of times their references sound like a writer with no clue about the subject just pulled the only example he could think of. This stuff sounds like an actual comic book fan wrote it.
"you don't know his life" 😂😂😂😂
0:10 ... Well, reading a comic book is not about reading texts in it... its about watching the pictures....analysing them.... looking at every detail... when I used to read comics in my childhood.. I used to take hours to read 1......
These are amazing actresses
They can memorize a lot and make it sound like it’s a real conversation
3:32 maybe Thors hammer is a new kind of hair polish😂😂
Look at Howard's face right here
2:17 "hard to argue with those kinda street smarts" 😂
I loved this so much! Such a shame it never happened again.
I love how years after this ep aired the problem of Thor's hammer was addressed in "age of Ultron" film. I guess it is endless debate
Well, Amy was wrong about the who decides who’s worthy question. After Endgame, Captain America lifted the hammer.
2:35 they went so deep that Amy left Penny's apartment with the door open.
Best argument ever LOL
Do you suppose Stanley had this problem when Thor was created?
2:13....I have dealt with people that have thought the sun was a planet....I feel for you amy
Daweights23 C what about flat earthers -___-
BigPurpleA as someone who actually drank a mixture of milk and OJ, all I can say is.... *pukes a little inside* gag!
I have dealt with people that think God is a real thing.
“Hard to argue with those kind of street smarts” 😂
“ you don’t know his life” I died laughing
"If Harry Potter's wand can make decisions, why can't Thor's hammer ?"
I'm WHEEZING 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
3:36,when Bernadette said "you don't know his life" I died laughing😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Penny's Questioning skills are Legendary!😂😂😂🤭
Bernadette is the queen of sass. Long may she reign.
“You don’t know his life” 😂😂 Im dead 😂😂😂
“How can red hulk be worthy?”
“YOU DONT KNOW HIS LIFE!”
I would love to see Sheldons face when he opens the door and sees aaaaalll his comics on the floor, tabel and sofa between food and drinks 😅😅
2:11 This is really killing me.
Oh yeah, then how does the sun come up everyday.
SAVYY 😂 😂 😂
can we all stop and appreciate this series. what a masterpiece. they not make much series like this anymore. all comedy now has F words and cursing only
I like how the guys question the girls are arguing about comic books and not “Why are they in our apartment?”
Well Penny has an emergency key
"Hard to argue with those kind of street smarts."
😂😂😂😂
"Whoever holds this hammer if HE be worthy shall possess the power of Thor" Does that mean that no female can pick up the hammer?
+Joyce Tan when female Thor happened, the inscription changed to 'she'
OOOoooohhh interesting!! Thanks!
It was established in the comics last year females can definitely pick up the hammer.
Tell that to Jane Foster, the new Thor
Wow, that is a great way of explaining it. I am a big MCU fan. My favorite founding members of the Avengers are Black Widow and Thor.
@@wesleywallace4426 It's not about being a warrior. It's about being moral. The hammer makes you a warrior, if you are worthy.
This pretty much nails it. Reminds me of every argument relating to comic books, sci-fi, horror and fantasy that I've ever participated in or observed. LOL
“... He picks up a girl and then we all leave together. Did I pick up the girl?” I fuk’in LOVE her! 😂😂😂
You notice neither of them had a counter for it either 😂
I wish they had continued the discussion after the guys entered the apartment... it would have been so funny.
That would have been great for the closing credits. Instead of playing the theme song, roll the credits over the discussion.
I always crack up every single time I watch this and The Pictionary. I love them 😂😂
“you don’t know his life” 😂
"How could Red Hulk be worthy?!"
"YOU DON'T KNOW HIS LIFE!!"
Amy=sheldon
Bernadette=howers
Penny =Lenard in the conversation each one sounded like there significant other
Howard*
Leonard*
well, nice observation 😂
In space there is no up…Oh yea? Then how does the sun come UP every day? Hard to argue with those kind of street smarts! 🤨Just brilliant 🤣🤣🤣
“The slow reader used science- SUCK ON THAT!” Lmao
Girls: "Comics are so stupid"
Thor hammer's: "Ight I'mma make comics cool"
bernadette: "it's crazy, they spend hours arguing over something that doesn't even exist!"
them 1 min later: *arguing passionately about thor's hammer*
I would’ve loved an extended scene where the guys go in the room and they all had a massive debate for another 10 minutes 😂😂
watch 1:35 ,, that subtle change in penny's expressions ,,, great acting ,,
The Savage Hulk has both picked up Thor's hammer and used it to crack Thor over the head! I call that using it. The hammer does not decide who is worthy. Odin, the god that placed the enchantment on the hammer decides.
Stupid? So stupid....
Berzstiflag Is it stupid because you're in a rotten mood, or because your brain cells are mush, or because you take comics seriously...
kamwrites I'm just quoting the girls at TBBT, this is after all what you are expected to do in this commentary field. This is their first reaction. Then they get swiped up by the scholastics of theorizing about comics. But sometimes the first reaction is the right one...
Christopher Panossian No he doesn't, or at least he hasn't for a long time now. Otherwise Odin wouldn't have allowed it to be picked up and used to bash his own son's head in.
^Hulk held Thor's hand and did it.....
“You don’t know his life”
Always gets me cracking 😂
"you dont know his life!!" Gets me every time
Ok but the boys reactions to Bernedettes “You don’t know his life!” Was what go me 😂
You know his life?
"Maybe Thor's Hammer is a new colour of nail polish" - I mean, I'd buy it for the name alone 😂
