I seriously think Amy developed so much as a character because of her friendship with Penny and Bernadette. As a result she was able to help Sheldon grow as a person as well.

Yes, really interesting to see how the synergies among the writers, casting director, and actors make a delicious soup no one expected to turn out just like that. The casting people really should get more credit, too. Their creative matchmaking during auditions is magic!

Raj is the only character on the same intelligence plane as Sheldon- it doesn’t always seem that way, due to Raj’s somewhat clueless and also kind nature. But he is the one character that can force Sheldon into a corner fairly easily- this isn’t the first time, nor the last. Raj is due WAY more credit than he gets…

I like how far both of them came. They changed each other for the better. Amy got out of her shell and became more relatable and a good friend to all of them cause she actually now has friends and a life outside science, and Sheldon got out of his comfort zone and started caring more about people and showing more consideration towards others

Honestly Amy's character being added made me love the show even more. And it wasn't a quick forced love written in but showing the character's relationship form was the best. Amy is my favorite character from the show
I think she changed a hell lot after appearing in some more episodes. Like at first, she was like a female Sheldon but after some episodes, she's like a socially awkward intelligent person

She was like that for her mental health, Sheldon chose to be like that. Once she gets friends, her behavior becomes normal.

Classic comedy and amazing interpretation by Mayim Bialik as Amy. I can't imagine how that character could have been created and introduced any more effectively. The lines were creative, but the delivery is what truly conjured up Amy. Right down to her dead pan expression.
Mayim Bialik was a childhood actress.... as was Kaley Kooky and John Galecki... I am not too sure about the others. They kind of wrote Amy and Sheldon as opposite halves of a schizophrenic personality..... then they normalised her to bring it home.
Sheldon just dont understand that if it wasnt for them he would die alone.

The actress always said it was only supposed to be a three time appearance the third season of The Big Bang Theory But I decided to make her a permanent member of the cast in the role of Amy Farrah Fowler, I guess because it was instant chemistry between the performers.
Mayim Bialik must have been on the show's radar well before Amy's first appearance. She was mentioned (though not by name) in the episode "The Bat Jar Conjecture" when Raj suggest they recruit "the actress who played TV's Blossom" to join their Physics Bowl team.

Raj's face of "shock" always gets to me. It's funny how they convinced Sheldon Amy was the gir for him, based on the website, but were later so surprised that they actually did find a female version of him haha

Sheldon has a good point on prevening honestly 3-5 pm always felt too late to call afternoon but also too early to call evening so we should definitely start using that.
Yeah, I totally agree. I think it's genius, actually! 4 PM is way too late to be afternoon, but way too early to be evening, so PREvening works really well to describe that 2:30 - 5 PM time of the day. Plus, it's a really clever play on the word!

Amy and Sheldon are clear examples of people who are the products of nurture vs nature. Sheldon was born the way he was but Amy was made that way due to a mixture of bullying and her mother’s parenting. She probably would have still been smart but had her mother not been so overbearing and controlling she probably would have been more like last season Amy from the get go

What a wonderful surprise when the producers added the two actresses to play Amy Farrah, Fowler, and Bernadette. Made the show a lot more interesting and even funnier if possible, great casting choices especially since.Mayim at her PhD, in real life and Melissa Rauch Said she was already a fan of the show before she got the call to audition for it. Perfect choices by the two ladies.
The look on Raj and Howard’s faces at the end says is all 😂
