Overall, The moral of the story is never showcase an animation of your two most popular characters (at the time) having sex at a celebration party. It would just look awkward afterwards and the original creator will probably just lock it away forever regardless
The funny part of those stories is that this happens far more often than people realize lol a lot of creatives draw their own characters in sexual situations all the time just because they can 🤷♀️ Don Bluth did it, Dr. Seuss did it, Carl Barks did it, Rebecca Sugar, Jhonen Vasquez, and many, many more. These people are adults and usually these sexual drawings are meant to be seen by other adults, not children. It’s really not that strange or even that big of a deal in the creative space to make sexual content for fun.
Pro wrestlers operate on a system of mutual respect and honor. While they do their best to protect one another while performing, accidents do happen. It’s a brotherhood honestly.

Alright i'm gonna explain more about the "goodbye inocense" episode of La rosa de Guadalupe because is one of the most despictable episodes to ever air in any show ever and Jorge didnt explain too much on why it was so hated to start it was based on a real tragedy, one of the worst tragedy on mexico in recent times, a group of girls (most of them still students) were out camping as a part of a religious activity, when a group of armed mans assaulted them, r*p*d them and tortured them for days, holding them captives. Now about the episode, the protagonist was one of the victims and the episode was set 4 years in the future, where this girls was """full of hatred and darkness"""" who after spotting one of the r*p*ist who assaulted them just walking down the streets she starts to plan her revenge to torture him like they did with her, then her parents pray to the virgin mary to ""stop her"" and next thing she sees the man with his family and that bullshit, have a change of heart and decides to "forgive him". now want me to explain why this is so distasteful? NOT ONLY THEY USED THE LIKENESS OF A REAL LIFE VICTIM BUT ALSO MADE HER THE VILLAIN OF THE STORY, THEY PORTRAYED THE SICK CRIMINAL IN A GOOD LIGHT AND EVERYTHING JUST FOR A "revenge is bad mmmkay" fucking moral. and all this, just SOME MONTH after the incident
:0 that's terrible. I never expected this episode to be that bad. What are these people thinking when they were making this episode! I'v watch La Rosa de Guadalupe with my mom sometimes and there are some episodes of the series that are worse than others because how they handle these real-life situations. But, I NEVER heard of an episode that was executed so poorly. :( I just hope that this episode will never be found because this is sick and I felt so sorry for one of the real-life victims who were portrayed in this show who were given such terrible treatment.
That show even caused a lot of kids to commit suicide sadly. It always has a happy ending "The Virgin Mary will safe me". "My family will get back together and everything will be fine" They tackled other real life stories and twist it to their liking. Like the horrible daycare fire in Mexico? in which a of children died in. They made it seem like the virgin mary guided them out of the smoke to safety?.. When in fact a guy had to ram his car against the daycare wall, so he could save some of them. When in fact the real heroes were the people who helped and the teacher. Not the first time they victim blame, or made the victim the villain either... oof
The reason why the pirhana scene in cannibal Holocaust was cut and they had difficulties with "controlling" the piranhas, was because of a little known fact about piranhas! Whilst yes they are considerable frenzy eaters that can rend flesh from bone in moments, the kicker is, they only eat DEAD meat. Their scavengers and are extremely averse to eating live prey, and that's why they wouldn't eat the guys leg. Turns out the trope of hostile pools of piranhas was started by president teddy Roosevelt of all people! In a book he wrote it describes a safari he had near local tribes in South America, where he had watched them lower an animal carcass into piranha infested waters. The tribe may have actually done this to flex on him and his group! (Who had the advantages of guns and things) to appear more threatening and to make his group less likely to try anything conflict related. Pretty interesting!
OK, the Level list wasn't anything I expected. I'm at Level 6 and there's a cancelled Mean Girls game, 3 levels below suicide or lethal accident footage.
The iceberg is based on a) how many people know about it, and b) how much info we know on it. There aren't too many archives of early Minecraft builds, especially the pre-2009 builds
I have said it before and saying it again, I had DEFINITELY WATCHED the Rude Removal on Cartoon Network in India in my childhood, it was a Hindi dub. It kinda freaks me out to think of all the things that are lost that we don’t know about. It’s like lost memories. People have memories of me that I don’t remember myself.
It kills me that someone probably wrote down exactly how some ancient still unsolved mystery was carried out and we don't have it because someone lost the book.
I love how the music used in this video gets more eerie as the iceberg progresses, starting off with someone cheerful to downright creepy. Nice touch there Jorge.
@@iCupcakeMelaniex3 he is talking about the destruction of the library of Alexandria, the most important repository of knowledge in the ancient world. the first time I heard was from a youtube video that was a reenactment of the jeff the killer story but with monster high dolls. the person who made the video had painted and dressed up one of the dolls to look like jeff the killer, which surprisingly looked even more terrifying than the actual jeff the killer picture. it was probably cause of the messy paint job and the fact the eyes were made of molded clay so they were literally bulging out of its head, or maybe 11 year old me was just a complete wimp

24:52 This one hits home hard as a fellow Canadian who loves wrestling. Owen is truly a hero. And I’m happy that no videos exist of his death. It’s heart wrenching to know people actually saw it happen live.
Better than the original story it was based on, where after chicken little erises mass panic, a fox uses that to manipulate the farm animals to go into a shed where the fox eats them all
I really don’t know why people want to see lost images of people dying. Christine Chubbuck’s family is lucky that she died before people had VHS because we know just how that footage would be used. A decade later a man named R. Budd Drywer died similarly and it immediately was burned into the psyche of every GenXer and basically became a pre internet meme.
@@ashimochi I don’t think a woman who killer herself on live TV was in her right mind to make that choice and regardless, it’s a well known fact depictions of suicide can lead to more people trying to commit the act. Keeping those types of images hard to find is a good thing.
@@AaronAnaya Yeah I'm not saying it would be better if it was available, I just find it kind of ironic since Chubbuck went out her way to make sure it would be seen
His children never saw the tape because their mother wanted them to remember him the way he was around them, happy. I don’t recall if she watched it, though.
I know... I grew up watching Animal Planet daily and loved his show, still watch his family's new show sometimes too, it breaks my heart as it did back then when I was told he died years back as a kid
For other people watching, the person whom Björk's stalker disapproved of was Clifford Joseph Price, p.k.a. Goldie, one of the first widely known producers of drum & bass music; the disapproval was racially motivated. Also, that last part of the iceberg meme is plainly false, because most early broadcast media content is definitely lost, because there was no way to record it.
1st Layer: Oh, lost media that is rather well known, whether we have it or not. 2nd Layer: Same as first layer, but a little less known and less likely we will find them, alright. 3rd Layer: Oh, so we are now talking about real world murders... how fun...

I’m in the process of trying to acquire some lost media I remember from elementary school. It’s called “The Book Beater,” and it’s a PSA with puppets that urges you not to damage your library books. I had nightmares from this film and it’s been in the back of my mind for about 20 years now. I found and contacted one of the creators, and according to him, it’s only available on projector film (no vhs or dvd version) and he doesn’t have a copy of it. He gave me the contact info of someone else who worked on it (he might have a copy of it), but I’ve yet to shoot him an email. Wish me luck!
There was a show I remember watching many times growing up, one of those compilation programs about real-life action, with segments such as a man climbing a ferris wheel, and I want to say the Bradford City stadium fire? This was the early 2000s, when shock TV was all the rage (e.g.: World's Wildest Police Videos). I don't even remember the hosts name, just a vague description. I love the hunt for lost media, so I bring this up as I know damn well that tape is somewhere in my possession.
Icebergs are ranked on how much people know them. For example, the medival times recordings were a lot lower since it wasn't as widespread, while the lost Dexter episode was a lot higher since it was a lot more widespread. Just here to clear things up!
SOME UPDATES: (2:33 / SpongeBob SquarePants' Deleted Scenes) The deleted scene from 'Procrastination' is now available through Amazon Prime & CBS All Access airings of the show. (30:35 / Super Hornio Bros.) The first one isn't lost. It too was also found with both copies of the movie made available through the Something Awful Forum. (33:24 / The Beatles - Carnival of Light) While the song is still unavailable, accurate recreations of it can be found online. It's also been mentioned that pieces from the 'Carnival of Light' sessions (the only one specified being John's "Barcelona" yell) were later reused for Revolution 9, the most (in)famous piece from The White Album.
For the Carnival of Light one, I've yet to ever have come across a verified recreation online. Can you link to one that is supposedly so? Is this supposed to be the recreation? ua-cam.com/video/OPJIbKAcAQ4/v-deo.html

8:51 I remember seeing this movie as a child. My mom often bought me and my sister cheap movies for family movie nights. The weasel thing actually gave me nightmares. I can hardly remember what it’s about now but it’s something about a bunch of food brands and mascots living in a grocery store.
re: the Black Friday reel. The excellent documentary "The Pixar Story" details that this version was not John Lasseter's vision, rather it was that of Jeffrey Katzenberg who pushed for the film to be more raunchy. The clash between Lasseter and Katzenberg is what eventually led to Katzenberg starting Dreamworks. The "black friday" reel was named so because of how black and glum the day of it's screening was, with the Pixar team feeling the full weight of their visions twisted misrepresentation.
The “El Hombre Lobo” part is referencing a lost episode of a mexican TV show called Mujer Casos de la Vida Real (the precursor of La Rosa de Guadalupe) in which a little girl becames too scared of an imaginary werewolf after seeing a horror film, later at a party she gets attracted to leave the building by a mysterious figure from outside and goes missing, at the end of the episode she is found dead, the episode was last broadcasted in 2011 and i personally watched it
I might have caught a few seconds of that particular episode while channel surfing years ago. I definitely recall "Mujer! Casos de la vida REAL" from my local broadcaster...
Honestly I liked watching MCDLVR better than Guadalupe. It was more interesting and they didn't always necessarily ended an episode in a forced happy ending.
Mujer Casos de la Vida Real was honestly better than La Rosa de Guadalupe cuz honestly it didn’t push Catholicism too much and the stories felt more interesting
@Plastic Icon 2 - Freewheeling Gunslinger Edition well what would it be… now and then? Level 4 should be weird stuff and now and then is just a message from John to Paul lol
It's seemingly also arranged in categories of sorts, with the first layer having a lot of cartoons and shows, second layer having a bunch of video games, third layer extremely NSFW content, sixth layer controversial and shocking lost media, and 7th and 8th about bizarre and even more controversial lost media (related to ethics, religion, science, etc), and so on... But from the 4th layer on it's mostly ordered by obscurity
I think people realize that but were still thrown off. Like come on you can't tell me that going from squidward zodiac to on-screen suicide isn't *really* jarring lol
One correction I'd like to make is that no footage of the Basement Tapes has actually ever been leaked online, the footage you've seen online are most definetly just home videos or school projects the shooters did. We only have a short audio recording that was leaked by one of the victim's parents.

my favourite pieces of lost media are The Lost Tapes Of Somalia. long story short, when civil war in the 80s broke out in Somalia, a radio station took all the music tapes they had, some including music just recorded by people going to concerts/clubs, and buried them, so to not be seized by the goverment and destroyed and also deep enough down underground to survive potential explosions. in recent years those tapes were rediscovered and are currently being preserved, I can't remember how many tapes there are but it is in the 100s, and the great thing is, the tapes that were in the best condition and could be restored, remastered and digitalised were infact restored, remastered, digitalised and are available on UA-cam and Spotify. there's only about 10 tracks but the music is so good. it's genuinely amazing that thanks to the bravery of a few workers from a radio station, we have amazing Somalian music from that era that we can still easily access
People who believe this don’t consider that some things are hoaxes (go for a punch) never got made (him) were destroyed before the invention of the internet (mickey’s sex tape) or are in the possession of someone who never want to or legally cannot share it (The death of Steve Irwin)
it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this did happen, Women were only allowed to do backgrounds on the animation at the time. and of course there is that embarrassing employee party Walt had one time. It was defiantly a men's club up until the team got bigger.
Fun fact: The scene where Squidward gets pranked with Gas and fire actually still aired in Canada (where I live) I’ve actually seen the exact episode more than once, albeit a few years have passed. I can guarantee it’s existence especially since it appears in this video.
In level 7, there's one that reads "videos de la matanza de Tlatelolco". This one refers to the videos that were taken by television cameras during the bloody massacre against protesting students in Tlatelolco, Mexico; where thousands of students and others, many of them completely unrelated to the protests if not by family, were harmed and about 300 were killed by the mexican militia under the rule of president Diaz Ordaz, in 1968. It happened before the olympic games were hosted in this country. The videos were taken away to this national gallery of files and films called Cineteca Nacional, which burned in 1982. In the incident, a number of very valuable footages and files were lost, including the recordings of the massacre.

@@spacecowboy3569 Yes, I’d definitely agree with you on that! And there was the National Museum of Brazil Fire that lost a lot of historic evidence too.. I'm late to the comment party, but I've been listening to this video over and over ever since it was uploaded. I really like how inclusive this is, by adding the lost media of other countries. I'd also like to add something on the list as this is a tribute to my country. In Vietnam, animation films aren't something that would catch the attention of the citizens, so they were likely overshadowed by other medias such as newspaper and TV programs. My family (specifically during the 70s to 90s which was way before I even existed) lived in a house very near the animation studio (probably the one and only back at that time). The studio was known to let women do the main work (drawing, painting, crafting, etc), although the director role was always set for the men. There are 345 total animated films made by the studio to this day, but no matter how much I searched for any seconds of footage of any film, nothing came up. I'd say these films are lost media, or at least lost on the internet. The only archive or mention of the studio's works is its Wikipedia page. Most of the films made won international awards and were even played in other countries' cinemas, mostly in Romania and Germany. I'm actually visiting this studio tomorrow, as I want to research more about Vietnamese film and animation. Before I end this tl;dr comment, I want to thank blameitongeorge for always providing us with the best contents, I personally like your videos about lost silent films or anything film related as it is related to what I major in college soon. For anyone else who's reading this, thank you for taking your time and I wish y'all the best in the next months of 2021
44:10 Seeing Nathan Drake duke it out with Sly Cooper filled me with an excitement reminiscent of the time when little 10 year old me realised that Iron Man and Thor existed in the same universe. Then I remembered that I was watching a lost media video essay :'}
Thanks for spreading the word about Empress Chung. I actually invested a lot of time archiving any information I could find about the movie, even upscaling some footage and promotional art and posters and website content. I even hired a person with North Korean connections to try and track down a potential DVD release from North Korea but they had no luck finding it at all and the movie director responded to me by email saying he has no plans to make the movie available on any streaming service or the home media release. Very sad.
@@FoxyGal18 I could maybe accept the North Korean release being lost but there is no excuse why is South Korean release lost as well. Plus, the director of the movie is Nelson Shin who does not live in North Korea so he does have control over the South Korean version.
I actually asked about Empress Chung when I visited North Korea. No luck, though. Have you tried asking people like Zoe Discovers (that's her youtube channel, she's a tour guide), Mattkulesza (that's his instagram username, he's been in and out Korea since 2014) or Masayuki Aramaki (he's been recording there since the 90's and has a youtube channel called "Aramaki Project", doesn't speak much english though)? I refuse to believe SEK Studios doesn't have some copies of it considering they handled most of the animation work. Besides we're talking about a film based on a folk tale, North Koreans love those. They even have some Disney movies in schools! Maybe the tour companies have some more info about it. They get access to tons of NK stuff.

I’m kinda glad even the lower tiers have some breathers like the Mickey-Minnie sex tape or Mean Girls for Nintendo DS. A breather between the more gruesome things in the lower levels.
Yeah, but that's because the iceberg 'depth' isn't how disturbing or creepy it is, but just how unlikely it is that a person who doesn't follow the subject would know about that thing. This causes most disturbing things to sink further, but things like Mean Girls also sink because most people don't know or care about it.
The fact that this entire thing ended on 'TIME TRAVEL' after so much time and dedication was put towards such horrific and creepy stuff gave me whiplash
"Medieval found footage" always creeps me out, and I don't know why. In my minds eye it's choppy sepia footage of people doing a danse macabre in a dilapidated castle and that idea just horrifies me for some reason.
so the dead rabbit podcast had an episode about this, and if we are to speculate wildly, he did point out a sort of photography (really rudimentary stuff) that could have existed during those times. Of course, that footage on youtube is most likely laughably fake, but who's to say that some of the great avant-guardists of the middle ages and renaissance couldn't have come up with not only a way to record stuff, but also to hide their progress along with the hypothetically huge amount of secrets of the dark ages we are still to find and comprehend fully? It's certainly unsettling and food for thought, a shot in the dark but deffo not totally outlandish, considering Da Vinci was suspected to have deep know-how about aerodynamics and flying, stuff that only saw more significant breakthroughs centuries after...
@@renatosousa8170 Well, back in those days everything was also a guild secret. Most inventions ended up being used for war and Da Vinci sabotaged his designs by making it so the tank's tracks were reversed. A lot of inventions took off around 1790 when the copyright act in the USA came around. Suddenly, you could make money off of your inventions and have a say in it. Food for thought
@@sketchstevens5859 see that's exactly my point, in that the more free-thinking people of those times had different ideals to those that would be considered when using any hypothetical technology that fell on one's hands. Therefore, although there are no evidence to prove necessarily towards any bonkers tech being hidden, there's no evidence in contrary, especially when it comes to great inventors like Da Vinci, who also arguably had a very different view of the world from their contemporaries. I'm not an expert in this stuff or anything, but it fascinates me so much that these secrets could all be hidden somewhere, and that to me excites me way more than anything time travel related
also adding to what i said, knowing this was not only possible but real would shine a very different light over the middle ages and renaissance, meaning that the secrets of the old world wouldn't be conspiracy theories anymore, but considerably interesting possibilities, which sounds fucking wild
I hate how much that image of jeff the killer still freaks me out. It scared me so much as a kid that even now, as an adult, it sends chills down my spine. If I stare at it, I can clearly see all the awful photoshop done on it, but it still manages to scare me.
Im more wondering where they got the creepy pasta teeth. And how I feelbad for the person whos teeth was considered so fucked that they thought it was perfect for a creepypasta.
I remember watching this Japanese animated show on UA-cam that centered around a little girl and her stuffed rabbit doll. The girl (who has short, curly magenta-colored hair and wears a black dress) is searching for her mother who, unknown to her, was actually turned into a fly. The girl also carry’s a giant demon-summoning book that she keeps inside her rabbit doll. Two episodes I remember watching includes one where the girl is taken in by some kind of hairy monster chef who gives her bread but won’t let her have any of the soup since he has been preparing it for a specific customer who visited his restaurant long ago and It turns out to be the girl’s mom before she was turned into a fly. However, when the fly (the mom) flies into the restaurant and lands on the soup, the chef loses his mind and chases it around, destroying his restaurant and the soup. This leaves him distraught and cries while the girl simply leaves the restaurant. The other episode I remember would have definitely traumatized a lot of kids. In it, the girl meets a young woman who had just lost her fiancé in a car crash. However, she was more upset about some files or paperwork’s that he didn’t fill out and the girl tries to help her by using her book to revive her fiancé. When it seems like nothing happened, the woman becomes angry and scares off the girl and this is where the creepy part comes in. When the woman is all alone, she hears her fiancé’s voice taunting her about how selfish she is for caring more about the paperwork’s over his death before he finally steps out of the shadows to reveal his rotting corpse while loudly saying “Look what happened to me!” The woman screams and runs off. She runs past the little girl, who gives her a confused look as the episode ends on a goofy jingle. There are some other things I remember about the show but I won’t list them here or else this comment might get longer than it already is. If anybody else remembers this show or might actually know what it’s called, please let me know!!
@@rkar7527 me too. It’s honestly bothered me for so long cause I still remember some scenes so vividly yet just can’t remember what the name of it was.
okay so, this comment got me interested, so i went on to dig around a little, and i did find a similar show, however i somewhat doubt it could be it. i checked a few of the episodes, and none of them seemed to be what you described. the show is called Marie & Gali, however the main protagonist also has a dude as some sort of sidekick, and i haven't really seen her use any kind of magical book. the only matching things are the curly magenta hair, black dress, and rabbit doll.
The Cleopatra movie is special because it is one of the last surviving films from Hollywoods precode era. Prior to the 1920s morality codes had not existed yet in films.
@@Watermelon_Man oh no lol. No one died. It just meant that the movies were allowed to show content like nudity, drinking, and other risky content. For the 1910s and 20s, it was a huge deal. It wasn't until a few Hollywood scandals occurred that they started enforcing strict morality clauses to the early films. If you're curious to know more , check out this podcast called "You Must Remember This". Its all about the history of the studios, and actors spanning from the advent of film up to the 80's.
My fave part is that Walt asked who did it and someone felt proud of it enough to claim it thinking Disney liked it and then got fired for it lmaooo

Alright i'm gonna explain more about the "goodbye inocense" episode of La rosa de Guadalupe because is one of the most despictable episodes to ever air in any show ever and Jorge didnt explain too much on why it was so hated
to start it was based on a real tragedy, one of the worst tragedy on mexico in recent times, a group of girls (most of them still students) were out camping as a part of a religious activity, when a group of armed mans assaulted them, r*p*d them and tortured them for days, holding them captives.
@Rando it doesn't border on it. It literally is religious propaganda.
Thanks for clearing it up
"Revenge is bad mmmmkay"
Eso es la rosa de guadalupe in a nutshell

It's generally estimated by historians that less than 1% of written ancient literature survived long enough to be preserved or copied down
It kinda freaks me out to think of all the things that are lost that we don’t know about. It’s like lost memories. People have memories of me that I don’t remember myself.

re: the Black Friday reel. The "black friday" reel was named so because of how black and glum the day of it's screening was, with the Pixar team feeling the full weight of their visions twisted misrepresentation.

my favourite pieces of lost media are The Lost Tapes Of Somalia. long story short, when civil war in the 80s broke out in Somalia, a radio station took all the music tapes they had, some including music just recorded by people going to concerts/clubs, and buried them, so to not be seized by the goverment and destroyed and also deep enough down underground to survive potential explosions. in recent years those tapes were rediscovered and are currently being preserved, I can't remember how many tapes there are but it is in the 100s, and the great thing is, the tapes that were in the best condition and could be restored, remastered and digitalised were infact restored, remastered, digitalised and are available on UA-cam and Spotify. there's only about 10 tracks but the music is so good. it's genuinely amazing that thanks to the bravery of a few workers from a radio station, we have amazing Somalian music from that era that we can still easily access

Yeah, but that's because the iceberg 'depth' isn't how disturbing or creepy it is, but just how unlikely it is that a person who doesn't follow the subject would know about that thing.
Yeah idk why but out of everything that scared me the most
@@renatosousa8170 Well, back in those days everything was also a guild secret.

@@ColdNorth0628 isn’t it from smile dog? That’s what I thought.
Fr I can't look at it
I remember watching this Japanese animated show on UA-cam that centered around a little girl and her stuffed rabbit doll.
I feel like I've seen or heard something like this before, I hope this gains recognition
@@rkar7527 me too. It’s honestly bothered me for so long cause I still remember some scenes so vividly yet just can’t remember what the name of it was.
that actually sounds so scaryyy
okay so, this comment got me interested, so i went on to dig around a little, and i did find a similar show, however i somewhat doubt it could be it. i checked a few of the episodes, and none of them seemed to be what you described. the show is called Marie & Gali, however the main protagonist also has a dude as some sort of sidekick, and i haven't really seen her use any kind of magical book. the only matching things are the curly magenta hair, black dress, and rabbit doll.
@@ri_yung I checked it out myself and unfortunately it’s not it. Thanks for the search though!
The Cleopatra movie is special because it is one of the last surviving films from Hollywoods precode era. Prior to the 1920s morality codes had not existed yet in films.
I’m assuming that means people died on film and it was acceptable? Please, clarify if I’m wrong
Ita really interesting.
@@entrotlek Oops I just realized that I misread your comment. I thought it said “mortality codes”😅 But thank you for the clarification! I’ll definitely check out that podcast!
unfortunately the majority of films from that era are missing.

Obviously not my little friend. They can say the exact same thing for Jimmy Neutron.
They're just trying to be edgy by making everything dark.

Kinda weird that you people in America were searching for it for so long and here in the Czech Republic we had it all time
@Ray Brudbary it's proper grammar
Ray Brudbary he’s pointing it out that it’s been years, and three of them, like this kinda
“THREE. YEARS.”
