Vintage DigiCam that Shoots Like Disposable Film (90s and Y2K Aesthetic)

- This video is about this vintage digicam that I have from Sony.
I have been shooting on this digicam for a while now and I cannot stress how good and vintage the photos look. I was also able to replicate the look of from a disposable film camera.
This camera is the Sony CyberShot DSC-T90. And this digicam is perfect in achieving the vintage, Y2K aesthetic.
Camera I talked about in this video:

@@koserrist770 The results are almost identical to the ones from Part 1. The only difference is there are more available presets with lightroom.

Lmao
Me too lmao

I feel u, I had this camera brand new 🥲
oh man I swear this video is gonna blow up ..
dope pictures as well! keep it going!
man I hope so too haha. Thanks for the kind words man!!
I'm obsessed it's so pretty
Thankyou!!
These definitely have the disposable look nailed down minus the grain. Kinda like the film photos my parents took of me as a kid!
Yeeep the grain isnt there as much but it’s a pass I guess haha! Thanks for the feedback!!
Oh the nostalgia 🥹📸🤩
Yes indeeed!
It makes skin so warm looking
That was the intention of the edit
Algo brought me here. Good stuff. Keep it up, bro!
Looking forward to watching the edit tutorial
Thanks a lot bro! Thanks for the request as well! I should have the edit video up in 2 weeks so stay tuned bro!
I have the DSC-T7 way back hs. Will try to take photos soon!! Love the shot
Go for it!! You’ll enjoy it!

Thank you for sharing about ISO it’s a life changing 🥹🫶🏻 btw, love all ur shots 🫂💯

I move back to old digital camera too 🤩

ahh i’m so stuck between this and the lumix dmc - sz1, they both look so great :))
brilliant and helpful video by the way!!
Just go with it! I think you can’t go wrong w it as long as it’s an older digi cam, I think it should give the same feel and vibe! Also, I made a how-to-edit video. That should really get your photos to look like film! And you’re welcome!
@@erwnalejo thank you so much! does your editing video include how to remove red - eye from photos? i’ve always struggled with that haha
@@maedianee unfortunatey no 😂 but you should be able to find a lot of tutorials how to do it. If you are using Lightroom, it is especially easy to remove. But I am sure other editing apps should make it wasy as well

Got my t200 for 30
Yoooo just got one of these and im pumped. Any other settings you tweaked other than the ISO/ flash?
That’s all I changed for my style of shooting! You can experiment and see what you can come out with based on the style or outcome you wish to achieve! Enjoy!
I bought a 2007 JVC in 2022 and am shooting a video on it. she's gorgeous with a gorgeous picture straight out of the 2000s 🙏
Man i need me that JVC! Gotta hop on a couple thriftstores to try to snag one!!! Thanks for the info 💯
I have one from 2000 I guess, all my childhood videos were shot on that, recently I found out there was one tape with a few seconds left to record so i recorded a video of me and mygirlfriend in Christmas
Good for you man!
Do you really need to edit the pictures after the iso 800 or they still look nice and vintage ? Also I’m in between this one and the t700 !
Uhm you dont really have to if you don’t want to. The photos look good already outright the camera! But it’s just more of a personal preference for 😊
I have not personally tried the t700 but imo, any older digi cam should be okay. Enjoy!!
hi! I'm looking into getting this camera however i found others i liked more, is the t77, t10, and t100 similar enough that i wont find too much of a difference? i cant find much of a comparison to them all. thank you!
Hello, unfortunately I cannot speak for the cameras you mentioned as I have never owned and used them. I would think they would have the same settings as my t90 as the settings that I changed on it are basic settings that every other camera would have. Hope that helps!!
Bought this camera because of this vid
Ayee!! How was it so far bro!
How do you import the photos? Do you plug in directly to your computer? Im curious how/if it can import to a modern day macbook pro since the camera’s firmware is so old
I have a memory stick pro duo card reader. Then i connect the reader to my computer via usb
Can you recommend a memory stick pro reader?
This is the one that I use:
Multi-Card Reader: amzn.to/3J7zEZX
this is so crazy broooo i have had this camera since 2012 when i was 8 and i want to use it now to shoot with that retro aesthetic. if you could please do that video about how you edit them that would be so great.
Dont worry bro the video will be up on Thursday on how I edit the photos! Stay tuned!!
heyy I have the same camera which settings would you recommend me to put it in for the best vintage look?
I believe I discussed the settings I used in the video bro. Also I made 2 editing videos which will help to really achieve the vintage look
I do have the exact same model camera that i found in my dad’s old attic. I charged it and found photos that my dad took over 10 years ago. Due to it being an old model I have no way of transferring the photos to my laptop. I don’t have the data transfer cable that comes with it. Any idea how I can transfer the photos from the camera ?
Uhm I use a card reader. It’s so happen the car reader I have has a slot for memory stick pro duo. I’d say just get one of those memory card readers.
What I like the most about your camera is the s2000
Yes sir
Will the dsc tx7 give the same performance as this? I can’t find this in my country so had to find an alternative.
Unfortunatey I cannot say for sure since I have not owned a DAC TX7. Sorry!
I want that look straight outta camera without any editing what would you recommend. Digital and compact ofc
Honestly I dont think there’s any digital camera that I know of that produces that kind of colors. Those colors are inspired by film. So if you shot film then only you might achieve this look but not with digital cameras. Even with the newer fujifilm cameras with film simulation.
Did you edit the photos ? Idk I might miss it if you mention it. the samples was direct from the camera ?
The photos were edited. I did make 2 videos showing my process of editing the photos
I also have the t90 but the pics I take come out sometimes nearly completely dark, even though it’s daytime or I have the flash on. My settings are the same as yours. Any suggestions?
May be you have set the EV to a negative value? If it is, set it back to 0. Also is your iso set to thenlowest like maybe 100? Also do you shoot in lowlight or well lit scenes?
Can you show us how you edit the photos?
Suree!
i found a tx 9 that i want to use only for blurry images (film like pics). would it be the same as your T90? i literally just want a digital disposable camera.
I dont know if it’d be the same as mine as i have never used a tx9. I thnk as long as it is an older digi cam from the early 2000s, you should be able to get film like pics from it. It all comes down to some editing in the end as well. I made 2 how to edit videos that you can follow along.
have you tried shooting on an old digicam?
I've had a chance to try a Nikon Coolpix S4300 which wasn't anything really special, and a Canon Powershot SX100IS which just looked like a miniaturized Canon DSLR but had a stunning zoom. By far the best old digicam i used is the Sony DSC-T100, which is really small, holds charge for a pretty long time, has OIS and also takes some good looking photos
Also wanted to say, great content, man, keep it up 👍
@@bitneerg that’s a lot of amazing vintage digicams on your stash bro. I’d like to get one of those Nikon coolpix since I have tried it from a friend and really liked the vintage look.
Appreciate the kind words man! Thanks!
@@erwnalejo ahah, unfortunately the Coolpix and the Powershot weren't actually mine, i borrowed them from my friend's mate for some time
Thats cool bro. Maybe he’s no longer using it and you can have it haha

Where did you find an sd card reader for the sony camera?
I have an older multi-card reader but similar to this: amzn.to/3J7zEZX

I wouldnt know on the top of my head bro. A quick google search should be able to help you bro 😊
Bro is cyber shot t77 and t20 can give me the same results?
And which one would be better? "As a vintage camera"
Unfortunately bro I wouldn’t know as I have not used those cameras. And personally, any older camera should give you the old vintage look
I have the T50 because of Casino Royale. It was seen in the movie and Sony Released a James Bond Briefcase with a laptop and Cybershot
Damn that’s a collectible! How was it?
@erwnalejo The T50 is a decent camera. But night shots, i have yet to get a good photo of like landscapes. It's smaller in person. I'm glad i didn't buy the james Bond version because the regular version is seen in the film
Dope, is the video at the end shot on this?
The end was shot on a sony handycam
@@erwnalejo Oh cool - what model?
@@itslunakai not sure what the name is but it shoots hi-8 casette tapes.

I edited them as I mentioned in the video. I wil be uploading a video on how I edit the photos tomorrow.

Bro i have a doubt the camera has flash automatic right? Then how will i get flash in all pics

I don't know, it was a good pocket camera back in the day. Periscope lenses are generally free of colour fringing + SONY sensor, what's there to go wrong. The premise that it's supposed to make particularly shitty pictures somehow doesn't ring true.
I'm currently taking my PowerShot G2 for a walk, i've had it for exactly 20 years. It's fun. Scares people though when it powers up and the lens that feels like it's trice as long as the camera comes out, she's a nosy type of guy.
Are those photos edited after ?
Yes sir they are. I created 2 videos on how I edit them
Are the wedding photos edited?
