I love RNI films! Definitely the best app for editing vintage style photos. The sharpness slider, in particular, makes a huge impact on how vintage the photo feels. I usually try to balance the sharpness with the grain because that's kind of how real grain works. You can't have huge grain particles while the photo being super sharp. I'm not sure how accurate the film stock simulations are, but they don't seem too over the top.
I tried VSCO but it seems that RNI is more straight to the point. Again, very useful tips! Thanks for the follow-up vid. (p.s. Got a T90 for dirt cheap hehehe)
Yea, RNI is very spot on in its colors hence why I switched to it after using VSCO for a bit. You’re welcome! Stay tuned for the lightroom one, that’s an even more superior method imo. (: And niceeee! Have fun shooting! 😊
hey man so i watch yo vid n straight up bought the cybershot t99 n i don’t have a computer is there still a way for me to import the photos to my iphone??
Hey man, hmm i thnk you’ll need to have a card reader that you can plug in to your iphone to read through the images from the mem card. Make sure you get the right card reader and the card reader is compatible with your iPhone. Good luck!
@@erwnalejo I have the same camera and depending on what the aspect ratio on the setting means that the megapixel was different. Although the camera is a 12 megapixel camera the ratio setting for the 12 megapixel was 4:3. If you was shooting in 16:9 ration the megapixel was either 9 megapixel or a 2 megapixel. 🤔🤔🤔
@@samuelvong90 ohh I see I didnt even know that! Thanks for letting me know! I do not remember setting the megapixel manually other than setting the aspect ratio. So I guess I was using 9 megapixels with the 16:9 aspect ratio
I dont know if im too late but i had a question. I’ve noticed a significant disparity in the mobile app and lightroom profiles from RNI. Could you check that out? They’re both raw profiles added to the same raw image yet the colours rendered differently
Unfortunately I do not use RNI film presets on Lightroom. I do a different process in Lightroom. I made a second part editing video showing my process in Lightroom. Part 2: Editing DigiCam Photos To Look Like Disposable Film (NLP + Lightroom) ua-cam.com/video/fJKOgVkUCmM/v-deo.html

I cannot say enough good things about RNI! Definitey helped me with my workflow! And as you said, the simulations don’t look too over the top!
Great video thanks for the ideas
Thankyou and you're welcome!
Great tips man! Keep up the great job!
Glad I could help! Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you! Helpful.
You’re welcome!
I love how RNI use an icon like Darkside of the Moon album (1973) for 'vintage lens' xD

If you have to edit the photo... your camera does not look like a film camera. literally you can edit ANY photo and make it look like film...
Even photos taken on film are edited LOL then go shoot with whatever camera, edit it and make it look like “film” LMAO
