Golden Mahseer on handmade lures! Fishing in Teesta and Rangeet river, Sikkim!

Ever since i took up angling,I had always wanted to carve out lures on my own. Apart from it just seeming like something i would really enjoy(as much as catching fish). I felt it would give me more control on the waters i fished at. Store bought branded lures i feel are very generic, it will catch fish though. I have caught many fishes with store bought ones. But i wanted more depth control.
So i finally decided to give it a shot this year. I can only say that it has been an amazing experience and that it works. Definitely not perfect, but does the job nonetheless.

Bu the way i want to know a few tips about casting spinner and lures for copper mahaseer and chocolate.. here in Meghalaya there is a lot of fishing pressure.. using homemade bait… like atta bundia chana peanuts etc… will spinning lure and spinner work???
