Klinger had some of the best lines in the show
Jamie is an incredible comic. His timing, his delivery and his very personage is an incredible joy to behold. Thank you, Jamie...for being you.
That was really great, I'm looking forward to part 2
I always wondered if "Operation: Nosejob" was written for Klinger
I haven't watched this yet, but I have a Klinger question. Why did three doctors (two captains and a major) have to share a tent while Klinger (corporal) had his own?
I'm one of the fortunate ones of your listeners Jamie, I know alot of the old actors and actreses, With Hollywood constantly either talking about or doing remakes of Classic movies/tv shows, etc Kids today have no idea what great shows/movies are!
Being a gold era movie/tv lover and 25yo myself, my age group never knows who I'm talking about and I wish they did cause they are missing so much. I was always excited to see Mr. Jamie Farr on 'The Cool Kids' ... it's the reason I started watching.
What a great interview with Jamie Farr. I enjoyed listening to his story about how he got the part of Klinger. I look forward to part 2. I really enjoyed his stories about Red Skelton. Every year at Christmas time my parents and I would watch Red Skelton's Christmas Dinner. The best scene was when Red did his mime routine in the Children's ward at the hospital. It was magical.
Henry consoles Hawkeye by saying "There are certain rules about a war. Rule Number One is: Young men die. And Rule Number Two is: Doctors can't change Rule Number One."
Brilliant writing, incredible acting. Powerful.
I received a check for $.02. It wasn't a residual check. I had closed an account. They sent me the first check. They missed two cents in the account somehow (?) and sent a second check for the remainder - $0.02.
