BMW E46 Interior Trim Kit Refresh

Couldn't bring myself to spend $1200+ to buy the BMW OEM e46 cube trim kit I've always wanted. So I decided to try my hand at vinyl wrapping my myrtle wood trim with a matte carbon weave vinyl from 3M.

Just changed mine from black carbon cubed to brushed metal silver. I think your eyes get tired of the new look after a few years so I guess you will be back on the wood again. Really neat job on that shifter console, was a PITA to get mine perfect.

OEM black carbon cubed? That's what I really wanted to do. You might be right... might strip off the gloss and go with a 'open pore' wood grain.. but pretty sure that's a no turning back option if I F it up.

Good idea I need to do this to mine. What would you recommend for trying to hide cracks in some of the parts.

Can someone left the needed wrap size to cover all the trims in cm?…my car is in car service…so I can’t measure exactly how much wrap I need to order for the trims.THANKS😅😄

Tried with white carbon, such nice contrast, but then again I would've gone with a different nuance or black if I knew that it amplify the mistakes so bad. Ended up using a lot of wrap, most of it ended in trial experience. 😅
