There are so many videos relating to leds and tv fixings. Yours was the perfect one that made me stop searching for another cause it was exactly what i needed. Love the humour as well! great stuff!
Thanks for the comprehensive tutorial. Not the same model, but got my LEDs replaced and good as new, your video helped a lot. Cheers from Estonia!
Thank you! Thank you for this video! I was able to fix my LG 60" 3D TV using your step by step instructions.
You cannot find 3D TV anymore, so getting it fixed was perfect.
Just wanted to thank you. With your help i was able to fix my Element ELEFJ501 tv with a backlight problem. Saved me some bucks.

I have a set same as this model that got bumped around by the customer transporting it to me. All the led defusing lens except one were rolling around in screen. I glued them all back and replaced the main SMPS module for no backlighting. All good as new now.
Top man I don’t use suckers I just stand tv on it’s top side and the tilt tv forward catch the screen and lift away
Thanks 🙏🏽 bro I had a successful change of the LED
Please do a future video on changing the battery in your smoke detector. 😂
Done dat. This Video was actually recorded about 4 months ago. lol
i have watched a bunch of your videos before attempting to repair my proscan. I ended up just replacing the power board but i learned quite a bit in the various repairs. figure i might pick up tid-bit style info that comes up in passing by watching a bunch, and thats whats good about the way you vocalize your thought process during repairs its great. do you have an updated website or communication method?

@@bigdog8882 thanks , i ended up finding a similar source by going into my laptops driver settings, seeing how the tv was displayed (the name of it as the computer sees) then using google's parameters {intext:thetv'sname} and it led to a a forum site that talked about it, then i did that a few more times with narrower and narrower parameters until i scored and got into the service menu with the code 0532 while highlighting "balance" on the audio menu, for a proscan tv (40in 2009ish) but man what a hassle and all lthat and i stil dont have settings to change the high pitch frequency! lmao
Can you please provide a link to part 1. I need to get the rear cover off. All screws are out , but still no joy.
you videos are fantastic.
The model i got 60LB6000 the lcd is glue to the frame
If the screen is glued to the difusser brackets then just carefully take the whole bracket off with the screen attached, remembering to dismount the lcd screens driver boards first.
That's crazy spray glass cleaner..I guess those companies that make special screen cleaners are crying.
Hello there thank you for the videos they r great. I think I can hear your smoke detector beeping in the video. You may need to check your batteries here.
I also have a Psu unit which is dropping 120v as soon as 240v is applied, I'm ready roughly 109v (UK).
Could this be a faulty bridge rectifier? Or r u able to point me in the right direction
Not familiar with the UK 240v. But check the output DC voltage of the rectifier, along with the AC input and also check the big filter capacitor.
I'm replacing the LED strip on my Vizio M550VSE and it has a single (Side) edge lit strip. I noticed that the screen has a thick clear plastic sheet attached to the back of it which made it very stiff when lifting it. The sheet is identical to the thick diffuser sheet closest to the LEDs. Is this what Sony is doing now? I couldn't get a Mfg date of the TV, but I bought it around 2016-2017.
good job
What happens when you start pop up of hdmi signal and sometime it turn on by bit self means...?
Good Job!
I was hoping that would you have tested each individual strip to find out which one was causing the issue.
I know, my fault.
It's cool no big deal so basically if I get the same readings as you did then its my led strips? Could one be bad even when I tested the strips individually and they all lit up?
@@rm4213 Yeah, just look at the voltage on your tester, that particular led strip's voltage will be higher and fluctuate, and if you hold your led tester on there long enough you'll probably see the bad led flicker and/or be slow to come on.
Yet another one.
