Not on this truck, I feel like 2.2 with portals makes the center of gravity too high and they rear links need to be changed so the wheels dont rub each other. I will try some aluminum beadlocks with different tires at some point but I'll just stick with 1.9"
@@rcilluminati26 That makes sense. That low cg really takes it to the next level. If you ever want to try some 5.5 tires you don't have to get bigger links if your ok with drilling a few holes in the chassis to move the cross brace the links hang off of for the rear. Just slide it back 10mm or so and get the long rod ends from traxxas for like 6 bucks. You do have to relocate the mini servo for the rear lockers. This is my current project, just waiting for parts to arrive.
