The only real argument comes from the fact that it is still implied or canon that he could manipulate midochlorians, which is pretty op and broken.
I mean,you could kinda scale Plagueis to Palpatine since Palp killed him in his sleep which implies that Palp was worried of fighting him.Then again,we have no feat of Palpatine during that time.

Your statement is somewhat true but anakin would never reach Luke’s potential. In order for him to do that he would have to master Both the light and the dark side of the force. Anakin was never given rank of master in the light side of the force and he only mastered the dark side. Luke mastered both so anakin will never reach Luke’s full potential!

I think the people really forget ultimate jedi masters who were totally dominant before the Empire era.
The reason why I put Mace as second is because he was known to be the best duelist also defeating Sidious only to be snaked from Anakin. But truly I think Mace is completely underrated and the only thing that overshadowed him was his supposing death.

Maul in terms of the force powers might not be that high on this list, but in terms of his awareness and intelligence, he is easily in the top 5 if not top 3 from all of the canon force users from the main trilogies. People always tie a Jedi or Sith’s allegiance to good or evil as a big part of what they can do, but Maul tossed all of that bias aside eventually and started to look at the galaxy and simply feel the force for what it truly was. Full confidence in knowing that Anakin Skywalker was in fact soon becoming Darth Vader before almost anyone else even knew about how it was possible. He might not have the force powers mastered fully, but he became a genuine chess master. The second greatest force using deceiver ever.
bruh as a child he had more potential than talzin. he could kill somebody with his mind. let alone the feat he pulled of in season 7 of cw when he brought down a venetor engine in hyperspace.when maul was a teenager he fought a yuzhan vong barehanded and killed it.
@@Smoothalcoholic Yes I fully agree that he had force strength to wield, but when it comes down to using those abilities to achieve success against many of these other people on the list, Maul’s force powers would not be able to be as threatening as some other masters. Just because we got to see some of these moments and miss out on others doesn’t make me forget the potentials. We never truly saw what a prime Yoda could truly do, let alone with the dark side.

Dooku saw a vision of yoda fallen and he got so scared that he never entertained the idea of turning yoda to the darkside, it was either sidious or dooku that said that its unimagineable to what evil a being of 800 years could conjure.

Maul was trying to recruit Ashoka but after she declined he went full kill mode the entire fight and she still won without lightsabers. If Vader really tried he would get over the whole suit being fried thing. Mace is more powerful than Dooku in the force and has shatterpoint but his Vaapad wont work as good against Dooku. Qui Gon only lost to Maul since he wasnt able to use his form since it was in a cramped space. I like Maul and all but he would still get beat by those 2.

The audio story I’ve been listening to for a while now does a great job showing the actual canon power levels of the Jedi, while also showing their thoughts of actually having to use their full strength, and the effects of Palpatines lulling them into complacency during the clone wars. It’s called Star Wars vs 40K by “A Fan With Too Much Time”, absolutely incredible, heavily recommend it to anyone. People who like both, one, or neither!

Obiwan trained his whole life In lightsaber combat. He is really weak in the force but he mastered lightsaber combat and mace is only really good against fighting dark side users but I feel like obiwan would get the high ground on mace lol

Kit Fisto wasn't really that powerful and got bested by a ROTS Palpatine. Revan is not even canon and y'all are gonna use CW as a excuse for him in canon. Dooku wasn't even really all that powerful anyways and Prime Kenobi beats him. Luke is literally been stated as the powerful Jedi ever and surpassing all past Jedi and Sith. Vader is not really powerful cause Palpatine made his suit weaken him. And yea Plagueis is featless but he is a poweful force user.

First off, im not a fanboy and no didn't you guys read the goddamn title of the vid, its Canon not Legends.
Second: Qui Gon didnt reach his full strength when he was in his prime and he stated that Maul was his equal as a duelist but TPM Maul stomped Qui Gon so that gave him a edge. BEN SOLO not KYLO REN is stated to have more potential than the rest of the Jedi/Sith but Disney didnt do it properly and comics showed Ben's potential better but he is not higher. And y'all overrate most of the characters on this list too much its like im seeing 12 years olds from middle school fight about powrr scaling when literally get off the internet and worry about Star Wars another time. Im doing this YT for fun, so stop your shit and at least enjoy the result cause not everyone on this planet is gonna agree with this. Good day everyone.
Also Kylo Ren isn’t a Sith or Jedi. He never got trained by a Sith Lord according to the Sith rules and he never completed his Jedi training with Luke

Great vid, but Luke shouldn't be in first, that's Darth Bane (and yes Bane is canon, he was in Clone Wars), also Anakin should be on here somewhere. Also George Lucas himself said that Obi-Wan is more powerful than Vader, so Obi-Wan goes above Vader, also Maul should be higher on the list, and Kylo shouldn't be on the list at all, as he's not one of the 12 most powerful, and he's a stupid character from the stupid sequels. I’d put Canon Plagueis below Maul in terms of overall volatility and combat. Far more knowledgeable but lacks the combat ability Maul does

All midiclorians do is determine your potential force power. They have nothing to do with physical skill, strength, force techniques or knowledge. If anakin never turned to the dark side he might have been stronger than yoda in another 5 years, but prime anakin would still lose to yoda. Prime is completely different from full potential btw.
